What is the real reason you want to change?A lot of people want to make healthy lifestyle changes. Some even start to make those changes, but then "fall off the wagon."
The key is uncovering what your "why" is. What is the real reason you want to change? It's not something that can necessarily be answered overnight; it requires peeling away all the layers and digging deep.
Once you do identify your why, actually making change takes practice -- weeks, maybe months. But, the end goal will be worth it if your desired change is truly your why.
Host Lisa Davis discusses how to find your why, make healthy lifestyle changes, and meet (or even exceed) the goals you set out to achieve.

While a diagnostic deficiency is rare, the benefits of including more of this nutrient in your diet are plentiful.
    • Stimulates the production of collagen, which is critical for supporting and maintaining skin health.
    • Helps ward off lines and wrinkles and other signs of aging skin.
    • Fights inflammation and helps with wound healing.
    • Is necessary for the production of the neurotransmitter, norepinephrine.
    • Works to breakdown (metabolism) proteins, which aids digestion.
    • Fights free radicals. This vitamin is a potent antioxidant, which means it helps destroy cell-damaging free radicals produced by air pollution, cigarette smoke, excessive sunlight, and metabolism.
Some research is ongoing to discover the role of vitamin C as therapy in cancer patients, and experts are also exploring its possible role in heart health.
In this episode, host Lisa Davis discusses the myriad benefits of vitamin C, which foods are highest in the nutrient, and what can happen if you get too much in your system. She also addresses some common questions about herbs and herbal medicine.

Got a Product to Sell? Farmers Market Tips: A Self-Care Guide Jul 16, 2019

With her farmer's market, trade show, and online selling experience, Kyyeetha (Ky) Archinard has some tips for potential sellers.Farmer's markets are becoming increasingly popular, as more and more people are seeking to buy local, organic, or farm-raised products.
If you're a person who has something to sell, there are a few things to know that can make or break your efforts.
With her farmer's market, trade show, and online selling experience, Kyyeetha Archinard has some tips for potential sellers.
First, the pros and cons. One of the biggest con is that farmer's markets are typically outside, so your success is often dependent on the weather. Another con is that your season might be shorter than you'd like, particularly if you reside in the northern states.
The pros are that you have a great opportunity to test your product and how it's received. It's also a chance to get to know your local community. The one-on-one time with your customers is also an advantage.
Markets are all different, so Ky advises checking out a few before committing. The larger ones are quite selective and sellers may find themselves up against a lot of competition. Others are welcoming to anyone who has a permit to sell and is able to meet the fees and insurance requirements. Some require samples of your wares before they'll approve.
Selling beyond the farmer's market can get a bit trickier, for example if you're showcasing at an expo, selling online, or attempting to get into a brick-and-mortar store. Oftentimes, the Department of Health will demand sellers prepare foods or spices in an approved kitchen setting -- not your home.
Listen as Ky joins host Lisa Davis to share more tips for making your home business a success.
