Our topic today will give you some great ideas for the new year on how to get in front of people and get clients! Today’s episode is all about workshops. Workshops are how Karen grew her own health coaching business back in 2011. For a straight year, Kathleen hosted workshops once a month, and during that time, she grew her email list from zero to 2,000 ideal client subscribers. It was an intentional strategy that required consistency and it worked really well.

She loves supporting women to live wild and IBS free through deep digestive healing so they can stop managing and start healing. She is also the creator of the powerfully effective 3 Day Meal Plan for IBS Flare-Ups and The Natural IBS Support Facebook Group. Heather will share how she has used workshops to generate revenue, grow her email list, and enroll new one-on-one coaching clients into her program.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • The benefits of understanding your ideal client, marketing message, and specific niche
    • How to use a call to action to begin your workshop
    • In person events vs. online events
    • Transitioning from free workshops to paid workshops and how to price your workshop
    • Value of offering a workshop series and tips for managing your schedule
    • Heather’s Top 3 Tips for Workshop Success

EP76: Small Win Your Way to A Successful Wellness Business Nov 27, 2018
    Show notes

Today’s episode is all about revelling in small wins. We have had this topic in the works for awhile now, because owning your own business, especially a wellness business, can be tricky; everything feels so incredibly personal. Our businesses ARE personal. Your business is a reflection of you and your brand is definitely a reflection of you. This episode is going to help you find a way to separate you the person, from you the brand.

In this episode you’ll get solid strategies on how to small win your way to a successful wellness business. No one goes from zero social media followers to ten thousand followers overnight, just like no one goes from zero clients to a full schedule. A lot of times, we actually think that’s the case, so we’re going to debunk that belief today. We’ve noticed that many of you are white-knuckling your way through building your business. We experienced the same thing when we started our businesses, too, and we want to let you know what you’re experiencing is totally normal.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Overcoming the struggles of building your own business
    • What it means to have an “All In” or “Not In at All” mindset
    • How little quits add up and sabotage your success
    • The power of little commitments and building your way to success

Here are the 10 tips we shared in the episode. Be sure to listen as we explain each one, give examples and share some of our top resources.

    1. Pick one or two social media platforms 2. Set your work schedule 3. Delegate 4. Focus on actions that bring clients 5. Keep a to-do list and review it the night before 6. Systematize 7. Be selective of your commitments 8. Implement what you learn 9. Set goals and deadlines 10. Schedule down time to recharge

EP73: Overcoming Objections During Your Discovery Calls – Part 2 with Peter Frumenti Nov 06, 2018
    Show notes

Last week we talked about Peter’s story and some mindset shifts that are really important to help you feel confident about the sales conversation during your discovery calls. This week, Peter Frumenti of Sales Team 6, is back for part 2 on overcoming objections during your discovery calls and boy does he share a ton of helpful information!

A lot of people would rather avoid these conversations because it can feel super awkward and uncomfortable when you don’t know what to say or how to approach it. Lucky for us, Peter goes over his 4 step process that helps his clients uncover pain and doubt, connect the dots, and address objections with prospective clients. It not only makes the sales conversation easier, but it can also help you feel much more comfortable leading a discovery call!

In this episode, we talk about…

    • The way you frame your mindset and your discovery calls
    • Uncovering the situation of your prospective client
    • Qualifying your prospective clients to set them (and you) up for success
    • Tips and strategies for overcoming objections

EP72: Overcoming Objections During Your Discovery Calls - Part 1 with Peter Frumenti Oct 30, 2018
    Show notes

In the past, we’ve covered how to structure discovery sessions but we haven’t gotten a chance to dive into how to handle objections. If you’re not getting a yes from a prospective client, that means that they have some sort of objection. Once you learn how to uncover and address those objections, you’re going to get a lot more clients saying yes to working with you.

This week’s guest Peter Frumenti is the perfect guest for this topic. Peter and his company, Sales Team Six, teach experts how to make more sales through powerful and authentic conversations that move potential clients, take immediate action, and get better results by doing so. For most of us, sales talk feels really awkward, uncomfortable, and “sales-y” but as Peter tell us

In this episode, we talk about…

    • The key to a successful sales call
    • How mindset plays a part in the sales conversation
    • Peter’s own journey overcoming objections
    • Providing clarity and listening to prospective clients
    • The most important things for coaches to focus on during sales calls
