This episode was originally released last July, but we’re bringing it back for you because it’s even more relevant now as more and more people have realized they need to offer a way other than in-person coaching as way to serve their audience. The people who only have a brick and mortar business - a physical location - are the ones who have been hardest hit by the pandemic. Some brick and mortar businesses have figured out how to pivot a bit, so having all or part of your business online is more important now than ever before.

If you haven’t listened to the episode before this one (#152), be sure to listen to it because it’s where we really set the stage as far as:

    • How and when to map out your online coaching program
    • Exactly how long YOUR coaching program should be with specific action steps to make the decision simple
    • How to decide on your online coaching program name
    • Which ways you can support your coaching clients and the frequency of your support

I mention a coupon code on this episode, and it expired last July, but I’m reactivating it for our listeners. So, if you listen and you want a resource for taking your business online, you can still use the coupon code through the end of May.

In our second episode of our two-part series, we are talking about pricing your online programs and options for how to deliver your program to your clients.

We’re diving into what you need to do before you launch your online coaching program for best results so you’re not stuck guessing what your clients really want.

Plus, you’ll get our tips for correctly pricing your program and getting people to sign up (hint: it’s less about the dollar amount and more about people paying for a very specific solution) and our simple solution for delivering your program without the tech bogging you down!

We know many of you want to add some aspect of online coaching to your business either in the very near future or somewhere down the road, so this episode will be perfect!

After listening to this episode, you’ll know:

    • How to price your online coaching program so that it reflects your solution, niche, experience, and length of program (with specific examples!)
    • The best strategies for increasing your program prices
    • How to get lot of testimonials for your online coaching program before you even launch it
    • How to deliver your program in a simple and efficient way so you can focus on delivering great content and coaching instead of worrying about the tech

Tune in so you can learn how to price and deliver your online coaching program!

Plus, be sure to download this free guide: How to Launch a Successful Online Health Coaching Program

EP151: Should you promote your programs and services during COVID-19? May 05, 2020
    Show notes

Have you been wondering if you should promote your programs and services during COVID-19?

We’ve been seeing posts about this in our Facebook groups and all over social media, so if you’ve been wondering the same thing,

or you’ve been holding back on making offers, we promise you’re going to get clarity today.

What we’re sharing with you are the top three reasons we believe you should be making consistent offers right now.

    1. People are thinking more about their health now (especially higher risk groups due to diabetes, hypertension, obesity, etc.).
    2. People have extra time on their hands.
    3. You have an opportunity to stand out because many coaches don't want to promote anything during the pandemic.

You’ll hear specific examples of what other people are doing with success and how you can use it for inspirations. Your messaging and your offer need to be in alignment with what people are dealing with at this moment. If you align your messaging and your offer with something your ideal clients want, they'll be thankful for it.

EP150: How To Create A WOW Experience For Your Clients Apr 28, 2020
    Show notes

Are your clients raving about you to their friends and colleagues?

If we called one of your recent clients, would they say they had a WOW experience working with you?

Why are we asking you this question? Because it’s one of the best ways to get referrals (a free, and very effective marketing strategy).

In Pat Flynn’s book, Superfans – “The Easy Way to Stand Out, Grow Your Tribe and Build a Successful Business,” he says:

“If you want to business and a brand that can’t be foiled, you need to cultivate aficionados who will sing your praises, have your back when things get tough, and buy everything you create.”

We couldn’t agree more, and on this week’s episode of The Wellness Business Podcast, we’re sharing our take on this, including specific examples, so you’ll know how to put this into place in your business.

    You’ll discover:

    • Real-life examples of some of the WOW experiences we've had in the past year, so you use them as inspiration
    • How you can create a WOW experience for your clients (with little to no cost)
    • Examples of what we did for our health coaching clients to make them feel special
    • Ideas of what you can do for your clients to go above and beyond to delight and surprise them

It doesn’t take a big gesture to stand out, and go the extra mile, but it makes you memorable, and it’s one of the things that prompts people to rave about you. Tune in to learn how!

EP149: How to Decide if Your Website Needs a Refresh Apr 21, 2020
    Show notes

We often tell our clients that their website should be considered their online home. It’s the place where their dream clients can go to find out more about you and your offerings. It’s also the place where you’ll have your blog to post weekly content that will nurture those that are interested in working with you.

When is the last time you reviewed your website through the eyes of your potential clients?

Is the messaging clear and does it immediately give your ideal clients the feeling that they are in the right place?

As you continue to refine your marketing message and who you serve, you may find that your website needs a refresh.

That’s exactly what happened recently when Karen did an audit of her website. The messaging and content needed tweaking.

In this episode of The Wellness Business Podcast, Kathleen picks Karen’s brain to share exactly how she approached her website refresh, including:

    • The main question to ask yourself to determine if your website needs a refresh
    • How to make sure that your marketing message aligns perfectly with your main offer
    • Which website page should take priority over all the other pages
    • The key components to a website homepage that will guide your visitor to take further action while visiting rather than clicking away
    • How to update your "About Me" page so that it does the job of helping your visitor get to know you more quickly
    • What should be included on your programs page that will help empower your ideal clients to make the decision to invest with you, (and the answer isn't more options)

If you’ve wondered if your website needs a mini makeover to grab your ideal clients’ attention, you’ll want to tune in to this episode!

We hosted a BONUS Zoom call for our members last week about 10 ways to generate income this month, and we decided to share part of the call here on the podcast - minus the Q and A.

We know you’ll get a lot of value out of this and we hope it sparks some ideas that you can implement this week.

We have decided to open the doors to The Wellness Business Insider’s Club (our mentorship and training program) on June 1st (rather than waiting until the fall as we had planned), but we will ONLY be promoting it to our email subscribers and those who have joined the wait list.

EP148: How to Find Unique Ways to Promote Your Programs Apr 14, 2020
    Show notes

We did something fun for this episode by recording an off-the-cuff episode while we were on the road in San Diego.

This episode came about because Kathleen realized she needed to be more intentional with the topics she’s covering on her livestreams, so they dovetail more seamlessly into her offers (done-for-you programs). She loves teaching about marketing and social media, so as she and Karen were discussing this, Karen suggested that teaching about using livestream video would be a great fit for some of the topics (livestreaming involves social media and marketing).

Livestreaming is a good fit for a topic because her programs can be made even more effective when coaches add an element of live video, such as running challenge and/or running online group programs. The programs can also be made more successful when coaches use livestream video to promote and fill them, so it’s a great fit.

You want to think about how you can tie in what you like to teach about that will also lead to your paid offers in a seamless and non-salesy way, and in this episode, you’ll get ideas on how to do just that.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:

    • How to identify an area you like to teach that will make your offer the next step for people to feel more confident and equipped to invest in your program
    • The common questions your audience want the answers to that will make them more likely to join your program
    • The top 2 objections most of your ideal clients will have, and how to address them up front to enroll more clients
    • What to focus on more during your discovery call with potential clients to increase enrollment

If you’re wanting to find different and unique ways to promote your programs, you’re going to love this episode. Tune in now!
