    The Big Finish Podcast

    Join the Big Finish team on their regular adventures through time, space, Victorian London, Mars, the 1960s and the Torchwood Hub in Cardiff for witty banter (ahem), free stories, news, interviews and exclusive trailers.     He's played opposite four Doctors, and as important characters too, yet we've never seen his face in the show. Sometimes we didn't hear his voice either, which, considering he's a fine radio actor, might be something of a surprise. But he's done some classic stories as well as much work outside of the Whoniverse, and gives us a fascinating insight into the world of Music Hall.

    One of the most popular guest actors to have appeared in the show, his science-fiction credentials are impeccable. Here, he discusses his early life and his career in the theatre, as well as roles in Sapphire and Steel, Blake's 7 and the BBC radio Lord of the Rings. By his own admission he doesn't remember much about Doctor Who, but he does remember not getting on with a theatrical knight and training himself in the business of acting. He's a true TV hero this, fellow, and so a series like Who's Round doesn't really bear thinking about.

    One of our most prized and busy character actors provided such erudite and fascinating conversation that editing this down has been one of the most difficult tasks in the history of Who's Round. It's still feature length, even though he doesn't really remember much about Doctor Who - but that really doesn't matter. He's worked with practically everyone, and has first hand stories about all of the great theatre knights and directors, as well as screen experience as a regular in one of the most loved sitcoms of all time. This is what Who's Round was invented for.
