    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 005: Kevin McNally Feb 12, 2013
    Show notes

As part of his Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to interview someone connected with every single Doctor Who story, Toby Hadoke meets a renowned character actor who has worked with Johnny Depp, Jensen Ackles and Rik Mayall. But who is he?

Toby's guest this time has traversed the spaceways and the high seas. A one-off guest star with an impressive CV outside of Doctor Who, they discuss looking like "a dream sequence char-lady", two of the worst actors you would ever hope to see and auditioning half cut on vodka.

    Nominated charity: The Psoriasis Association

Whether or not you've guessed who it is, tune in to the latest instalment of Toby Hadoke's Who's Round to learn more about the institution we call Doctor Who through the eyes of one of its stars!

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 004: Ian Cullen Jan 26, 2013
    Show notes

Toby Hadoke offers the extremely cryptic clue 'Scramble me a taxi ' as to the identity of his latest guest. A guest who forms part of his quest to get an anecdote from every Doctor Who story in this 50th Anniversary year...

Toby further describes this podcast thus... 'A dire journey preceded a delightful interview with an actor from the dawn of the show. Over a cup of cocoa we talked about getting shot, getting fired, and about how nice and talented Nick Briggs is. There's something in the cocoa...'

    There must be!

Nominated charity: Great Ormond Street Hospital

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 003: Glyn Jones Jan 16, 2013
    Show notes

Actor, writer and comedian Toby Hadoke has found his next victim in his quest to get an anecdote about every single Doctor Who story in this 50th Anniversary year. Can you guess who it is, though?

Here's Toby's cryptic clue as to the identity of today's special guest...

    Our guest speaks without inhibition,
    And deserves not our derision,
    Because he wrote the show,
And was in it you know,
So he's a must for our exhibition.

To find out the answer, just download or stream the podcast now. It is, of course, absolutely free, and it contains a trailer for an upcoming Big Finish Doctor Who release.

Oh, and please remember that views expressed by Toby or indeed his guests are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Big Finish Productions or its representatives.

    Nominated charity: The Psoriasis Association

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 002: Andrew Smith Jan 11, 2013
    Show notes

The intrepid Toby Hadoke seeks out not only another Doctor Who celebrity, but a slightly quieter place to interview him! This time, writer and high ranking police officer Andrew Smith is in the spotlight...

Not literally, of course. We can't afford a spotlight. But Toby does have a microphone. Thank goodness.

As many of you will know, Andrew wrote the Tom Baker story Full Circle, which was the third serial of the 18th season in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was first broadcast in four weekly parts from 25 October to 15 November 1980. At least, that's what it says on wikipedia! Andrew has more than that to say, and that's for sure.

    Nominated charity: The Lily Foundation.

Toby continues his brave quest to get an anecdote about every Doctor Who episode ever broadcast on television. It's a quest he fully intends to have completed by the end of this 50th Anniversary year for Doctor Who. But, as we all know, the road to ruin is paved with good intentions...

Go, Toby! That's what we at Big Finish say.

By the way, if you haven't caught up with Andrew Smith's latest Doctor Who work, you may like to consider The First Sontarans, featuring Colin Baker as the Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri, in an adventure originally planned for the TV series... A big, epic war story that reveals the hidden history of the Sontarans.

Don't forget, if you'd like to contribute either in the written word or in audio form, please send your contributions to podcast@bigfinish.com.

Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 001: Susan Moore and Stephen Mansfield Jan 07, 2013
    Show notes

Doctor Who Z-list celebrity, comedian, actor and writer Toby Hadoke takes control of the podcast for the first of many entirely trivial interviews with people from the world of Doctor Who.

It's the 50th Anniversary year of Doctor Who after all! Toby's self-imposed mission is to find and interview someone about every single Doctor Who story.

'We've no idea if Toby will succeed in his quest,' says executive producer Nick Briggs, 'But we're certainly more than willing to let him have a go.'

In this first edition, Toby talks to special effects make-up artists (let them argue over the definition of their job titles!) Susan Moore and Steve Mansfield, who were responsible for some of the most impressive character masks/effects on Doctor Who in the 1980s. Be warned, they speak frankly and at length!

    Nominated charity: The Alzheimer's Society.

The Toby Hadoke Podcast 2 Apr 17, 2012
    Show notes

He's back! And it really is about time... In the second edition of his monthly-ish podcast, comedian Toby Hadoke proves that he is surely the most consistently unpunctual of cyberspace entertainers. Still, there's fun to be had with Richard Dawkins reading a bedtime story and Toby's eulogy to whisky. He also mentions butlers, Beaker and Blake's 7. Catch him before it's too late (although, actually, he's always late). You can download or stream the podcast now!

The Toby Hadoke Podcast 1 Feb 21, 2012
    Show notes

Here's what Toby Hadoke has to say about it: "Doing a podcast, I can get all the material out there whilst not shaving, changing out of my pyjamas, or even hiding the bodies. And that's a delight. The podcast should appeal to people who like my stuff. People who don't like my stuff will hate it, so if they listen they've only got themselves to blame, really. There'll be some topical gags which some will agree with and some won't; that's the nature of such things. Suffice to say, the opinions are purely my own (although in some cases I'll happily subjugate my own opinion for the sake of a better punchline) and do not represent the opinions of Big Finish or any of its representatives. Unless I say something unconscionably offensive and discriminatory, in which case it's entirely the opinion of Nicholas Briggs."

For legal reasons, Nick wishes to stress that he disagrees strenuously with everything Toby Hadoke ever says. He'd also like to point out that Toby's podcast, although not overtly offensive (even though it does, at one point, contain the word poo) might offend the sensibilities of some listeners and is very probably not suitable for children. It also features Sarah Millican. Which is champion.
