What is Rejection and Why Does It Happen? | Coffee Is For Closers

The fear of rejection can keep any entrepreneur from making their next move. Today I'm going to share with you my secrets to overcoming rejection in business, so you'll never have to fear rejection again!

Rejection can be a double-whammy. You not only feel the stress of losing a sale but also feel like you've been turned down as a person.

But rejection is not always a bad thing.

What if I told you that there was actually a lot to be gained when your client turns you down? What if rejections are actually the very thing that paves the road to success? Sometimes rejections give us an opportunity to see what are the important things our clients value the most and what could we have done better for them.

On today's episode you will learn:

    - Why rejection happens in the first place

    - Why NOT asking for the sale guarantees failure

    - My story about the ultimate rejection and the ultimate comeback

    - Why rejection is something to be embraced instead of avoided

How To Know When To Ask For The Sale | Coffee Is For Closers

As entrepreneurs, salespeople, and business owners you must learn how to know when to ask for the sale. When you understand buying cues, you'll know when (and when NOT) to ask for the sale so that you get a YES!

By now, asking for the sale should be a no-brainer, right?

Well maybe… but then again, are you SURE? Is it really time to (gulp!) ask for the sale?

In theory, it should be easy. If you're sure of your worth, you're confident about the business relationship you've been cultivating, and you're reasonably sure that your prospect is a winner, what's stopping you from pulling the trigger?

It might be fear of failure. That naysaying voice might be making you second-guess yourself. Maybe you're worried that you're being overconfident and you're actually going to get shot down. Maybe you start to fear that you've read the signs wrong and it's all going to crash and burn.

Once all of those thoughts start running around in your head, you can get yourself so freaked out that you don't even ask. And when you DON'T ask, of course, the answer is automatically NO.

I don't want that for you. And I know you don't want that, either. On this episode, I share everything you need to know about asking for the sale. We're talking about when to do it, how to do it, and what you can do to keep fear from stopping you from asking.

Check out this episode and learn:

    - The biggest buying cues, both verbal and nonverbal, that let you know when the client is ready

    - How to overcome objections and answer questions with confidence

    - How to be confident enough to ask for anything, anytime without fear

    ****

The more you start asking, the more you're going to start closing. And the more your business is going to grow. If you want to learn even MORE about the art of asking for the sale, check out my FREE guide, "Asking For The Sale: A Guide To Knowing WHEN and HOW To Close The Deal" right HERE!

How to Find Your Customer's Pain Points | Coffee Is For Closers

As an entrepreneur or salesperson, you need to be able to find your customer's pain points. Your sales pretty much depend on the pain that your ideal clients are facing and your ability to take that pain away.

The reality is simple. People are a LOT more likely to buy something if it will get them out of pain. This is actually a good thing for you, but why?

When you thoroughly know the struggles and frustrations of your ideal client, you have an amazing opportunity. It's the opportunity to take their problems, flip them on their heads, and provide the life-changing solutions they've been dreaming of.

You really CAN make a difference in a lot of lives. All you have to do is know the problem you're solving, know it well, and provide the best solution that money can buy.

It all starts with getting to know your clients at a deeper level. Empathizing with their struggles in a genuine way. And giving them what they want with your talents, your passion, and your purpose.

Makes you see pain in a whole new way, right?

On this episode I talk about:

    - How to get your clients to open up about what their struggles really are.

    - How to know your ideal client's ultimate "why" better than they know it themselves.

    - How to not only take away their pain but ALSO fulfill their vision.

Why Your Client Said "NO" And How To Make It A "YES" | Coffee Is For Closers Mar 03, 2018

Why Your Client Said "NO" And How To Make It A "YES" | Coffee Is For Closers

On today's episode of Coffee is for Closers, I'm talking about all the reasons why your client said "NO" and how to make it a "YES!"

As an entrepreneur or salesperson, you are going to get rejected no matter how successful you are. It's a story you probably know too well. You make your pitch. You think you've got the sale in the bag. But then the client drops the bomb with a surprising, "No, thanks." Maybe they tell you, "It's not the right time." Or even worse, "It's too expensive." Ouch.

Was it something you said? Was it something you DIDN'T say? What happened there?

The truth is that there are many reasons clients say "NO." There are so many variables in business, selling and the sales process that it could be ANY number of things. Sometimes the factors are within your direct control, sometimes they're not.

But the good news is that getting a rejection is never the end of the story. It's simply information that can benefit both you and the client if you use it properly. A "NO" is always a stepping stone to a "YES." And on today's episode, I share exactly why that is and how you can use this knowledge to your advantage!

    In this episode you'll learn….

    - Why your client said "NO." (It's not always about you.)

    - What they mean when they say "It's too expensive."

    - How to respect your client without compromising your standards.

    - How to follow up to get a YES.
