How to Boost Sales and Scale Your Business with Marco Torres Jul 14, 2022
    Show notes

Do you know how to use incentives to scale and grow your business? How do incentives acquire more clients, close more deals, and generate more leads in the business world? As a business owner, how do you scale your business and market it effectively?

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Marco Torres will talk about the ideas on how to implement actions to have million-dollar sales in lead generation and lead magnet in the business world. They will also tackle helping business owners boost sales and scale their business using incentives and other social media platforms in marketing in an attempt to reinvest and be the solution to their consumers.

Marco Torres is the Founder of MarketingBoost.com, he has helped thousands of business owners worldwide boost sales and scale their businesses by as much as 5-fold through the use of incentive-based marketing. He teaches entrepreneurs how to soar in sales & marketing through the use of “Value-Add-Incentives” instead of discounts. His Facebook Group is home to more than 27,000 active business owners who are raking in sales with his advice and amazingly affordable subscription program.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • How to Add value to your offers to incentivize potential clients.
    • Selling your services via zoom calls was one of the challenges that many entrepreneurs faced today.
    • It is so attempting to start a discount to try to get the lowest price on the market to make sure you get the client, which ends up training your consumer to not take action with you until the next discount.
    • As you start to grow and invest in advertising, hone in on it to make sure that for every dollar you are putting in, you are spending an extra two dollars.
    • A lead magnet is something you are providing free as a draw card.
    • You have to reinvest the money coming in into outsourcing.
    • You have to get a team around you of people that are better and smarter than you.
    • If you help enough people to get what they want, you can get what you want.
    • Sales are about listening with both ears and talking with one mouth to find out exactly what help they need.
    • Don't just sell for the sake of selling; if your product isn't a good fit for them, refer them to someone who might be a better fit.

Hack: You can be the solution for your client to help them get what they want, and in return, you can get what you want. That is more sales and you will have the revenue that you are looking for.

How To Sell Your Business On Social Media with Victoria Sekely Jul 07, 2022
    Show notes

How does the algorithm work on Instagram reels? What do you need to do as a business owner to use social media as an advantage to promote your products? How else are you going to learn from it if you don’t do things on your own?

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Victoria Sekely will talk about the hurdles to overcome as a business owner from the beginning and how to deal with people on social media while selling to your clients. They will also discuss how social media gives you an opportunity to talk with the community and how it influences you to share your experience through it.

Victoria Sekely is a Manhattan-based Physical Therapist with a passion for all things running. Victoria graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University and went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University. Victoria is also a USATF Level 1 and RRCA certified run coach. She is dedicated to helping runners of all levels by using her skills and knowledge to assist runners who are rehabbing from an injury, interested in injury prevention, and/or looking to improve their training with custom running programs.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • The biggest hurdle is the figure of failure and the beginning of recognition from the first few months of being a business owner.
    • Making mistakes is the only way to learn.
    • Just do it. Don’t look back. Put one step forward every day.
    • Keep building every day on what you love.
    • Bring yourself back to the beginning of why you started to keep yourself motivated in every aspect of life.
    • As long as you are talking to your community, social media is not worth obsessing over.
    • Your story on Instagram is where people get to know you outside of what you normally do.
    • Consistency with your content that you are actively posting on to your page doesn’t really matter what you post on your stories because it is done for people to get to know you.
    • Make sure your giveaways are tailored to your clients.
    • You should never discount what you are selling. It should always be worth what it is worth.

Hack: If you are trying to sell something, whether it is someone else’s sponsored content or your own content, you have to love it and speak from the heart.

Your Health Is Not The Physician's Responsibility, It's Yours with Dr. Tom Waldorf Jun 30, 2022
    Show notes

How can you become successful and build your practice while making sure your patients will stay motivated and don't lose hope? Do you think healthcare providers should be putting out more social content to attract and educate patients?

Dr. Tom Waldorf became a project manager on a research grant for the school, studying low-back injuries sustained by those on-the-job. The 4-year study, conducted at an occupational clinic with medical physicians and physical therapists, concluded that Chiropractic treatment along with physical exercise was the optimal form of treatment. Following this ground-breaking project, Dr. Waldorf started his first Chiropractic practice with a focus on holistic, integrated medicine. He was inspired to find missing treatment protocols for peripheral neuropathy, and has spent the last 20 years refining the treatment process in providing patients with the hope of recovery.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Dr. Tom Waldorf will talk about what it really means to be healthy and have wellness, which helps patients to know whatever they need to stay active that will eventually educate them on healthcare, not sickcare. They will also discuss how to attract clients in business perspectives to open doors for new treatments.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • If you don’t look at your practice from a business perspective, you can’t keep your doors open to do the treatments that you want to do.
    • To be able to be healthy and have wellness is when you wake up in the morning and look at life as you want to do it.
    • Communicating with other providers and clients is the key to earning their trust that you are good at your program.
    • Your health is not the physician’s responsibility; it is yours.
    • There is so much more to being optimistic for your patients' benefit. As a provider, it will be difficult, but patients will take it from you. That’s how you become successful in building your practice.
    • If you can’t visualize and forecast, you will never be successful.

Hack: You develop your business by educating and telling your clients the truth

The Nature of Binge Culture with Dr. Glenn Livingston Jun 23, 2022
    Show notes

What’s the one thing that you are doing day in and day out that will make things work in your business? What’s the smallest step you could take in the direction of completing your goal without any possibility of failure?

Glenn Livingston, Ph.D. is a veteran psychologist and was the long time CEO of a multi-million dollar consulting firm which serviced several Fortune 500 clients in the food industry. Glen has sold $30M of marketing consulting services over the course of his career. You may have seen his previous work, theories, and research in major periodicals like The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Sun Times, The Indiana Star Ledger, The NY Daily News, American Demographics, or any of the other major media outlets you see on this page. You may also have heard him on ABC, WGN, and/or CBS radio, or UPN TV.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Dr. Glenn Livingston will talk about what the culture of a CEO looks like and how to look at business for new healthcare entrepreneurs that will help them grow their business. How can a platform relate to market research that can help them focus on making their dreams come true as an entrepreneur.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • Binge culture is driven by the need for constant stimulation.
      • Because of binge culture, our brain is trained to be hyperstimulated by hyperpalatable concentration, which is designed to hit the bliss point in the brain without giving you the feeling of satisfaction.
    • Business is about turning the wheel, not inventing the wheel.
    • You need to focus on what’s the one thing that cannot fall down.
    • You have to be able to finance the loss to make the business work.
    • Marketing is not much more than asking people what they want, how they want to talk about what they want, and delivering it.
    • Recruit people who are mission-oriented rather than money-oriented, which helps your business to pave it all.
    • Demonstration is the best form of proof.
    • If you have a product that does its stuff, then demonstrate it to your clients.

Hack: When you stop binging and disconnect yourself from electronics for a while, life seems boring, but if you do it and pick from the things that you need to focus on, it will make progress and that’s where your dreams will come true.

As a professional athlete, motivation and hard work is not the only key for your career success, but did you know eating proper nutrition can help you perform at your best? Are you ready to lead a healthy lifestyle inside and outside of your sport season?

Jenn Giles is a Sports Dietitian Nutritionist with 24 years of experience working with athletes in all sports and of all ages. She thrives on helping athletes achieve their goals! Jenn’s background is unique in that she was a youth athlete (swimmer and softball player) turned adult athlete (runner, open water swimmer and triathlete) who married an athlete (runner and triathlete) and is now the mother of four little athletes (Swimmers, hockey players and lacrosse players). In other words she knows the expectations of all moving parts for athletics - coaches, parents, sports organizations as well as athletes’ own expectations.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Jenn Giles will talk about How she finds a solution to the number one problem in sports, proper nutrition, that influenced her to educate young and adult players on eating healthy meals both in and out of season. How her experience as an athlete draws her to become a Sport Nutritionist that not only builds her business, but also a healthy lifestyle for all athletes.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • The transition from being employed to becoming a Sports Nutritionist has helped her build her own business.
    • How to find balance in health, work, and life — regardless of your business, age, and career.
    • How any business owner or entrepreneur can apply the marathon traits and achieve success.
    • Go back to the habit that got you on your track in your business.
    • The number one mistake as an entrepreneur is not asking your clients what they need.
    • It’s important to look back not only at your small wins, but also the mistakes or failures that you have made in the past. This way, you’ll be able to reveal those mistakes and develop an effective learning strategy out of it.
    • Failure is one of the noble ways of figuring out what works for you and what doesn't.
    • The biggest mistake youth sports players can make is putting off their future because of the game.

Hack: Get out there and network more. If you not on the media you don’t exist, it is your job as a business owner to make people aware about your business

How To Create Quality Content That Attracts Your Audience with Kayleigh Caito Jun 09, 2022
    Show notes

Did you know that your people are searching for people who help them understand their problems and encourage them to solve their own issues? How would you create content that brings a message to your audience through which they process their thoughts, remain engaged with you and remember what you said?

Kayleigh Caito is a 10+ year fitness and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She started her fitness journey in high school and instantly became fascinated with nutrition and fitness. This ultimately led her to study nutrition. She has worked at several gyms over the years as both a fitness and nutrition coach. After years of trying all different diets and calorie counting with NO long-term results, she decided that there had to be a better way. She is on a mission to teach women how to stop calorie counting and restrictive dieting, while still reaching their fitness and weight goals for the long haul.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Kayleigh Caito will talk about the most powerful ways to bring your message to the right audience and turn these into qualified leads for your business. They will also discuss how to connect with potential customers and using creative content with meaningful messaging.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • Have conversations with others that are valuable and informational, and be sincere about it. The right people will find you if you're genuine about what you have to share.
    • You can use some of your existing skills to take the first step toward starting your own business.
    • There is so much information available in the modern world that it can be overwhelming. How do you find out what is best for you and your business?
    • The evolution of spreading the message and awareness to other women.
    • When you create content, you have to bring people's pain points.
    • Bringing the pain points of the people is sometimes challenging but super crucial. Your content won't find the right audience without any research.
    • Mentorship is a fantastic way of learning in your career and growing your company.

Hack: Don't talk to everyone. Utilize your message to talk to the right people.

A Holistic Approach to Commercializing Yourself In the Business Industry with Andy Chan Jun 02, 2022
    Show notes

Are you an aspiring businessman or woman? Do you know how important networking is in helping you commercialize yourself? How can we use the holistic point of view of western and eastern medicine to bridge the gap? Are you ready to think about what you can bring to the table to find success?

Dr. Andy Chan, MD is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist in Houston, TX and has over 24 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Boston U, School of Medicine medical school in 1998. He is affiliated with medical facilities Houston Methodist Hospital and Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Andy Chan will talk about the key to understanding the difference between western and eastern culture in medicine and how people can be educated better to stand out by commercializing themselves in the business industry.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • You must choose a small part in which to improve and believe in the concept of aggregation of marginal gains, in which you only work on small things here and there.
    • A mentor is important and critical to your career and personal development
      • A mentor does not have to be a specific person; it can be anyone who can give you advice. Even if that advice is bad, it is showing you what to avoid.
    • If everybody starts to become a listener, we will all advance in ways that people have not previously imagined, in ways that are out of this world
    • If you are a better listener, you will build a connection with your client. Once the trust is there, they will listen to you.
    • The most powerful marketing tool is word of mouth

Hack: If you want to be great one day, you have to start commercializing what you do in the sense that you have to think of yourself as a brand and a business

Leveraging Medicare with Anthony Maritato May 26, 2022
    Show notes

How does Medicare open doors and bring people in? And how would they lead to the development of tools that give patients access to the physical therapist's history and expertise?

Anthony Maritato is a licensed physical therapist and specializes in helping patients to recover from total knee replacement surgery. He and his wife started a private practice in 2002 in Sarasota, FL, called Total Therapy Solutions because they believe in a total body approach to health. Their treatment plans include education and empowerment as well as strength, range of motion, and overall health.

This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connection, Nathan Navas and Anthony Maritato will talk about the opportunities to open new doors in practice and allow patients to see what they can do and improve care quality.

They will touch on such topics as:

    • When having a partner in the business, establish ground rules: What is the business's function for you?
    • Build a vehicle that provides you with your priorities: (1) Priority number one is time freedom, and (2) priority number two is financial independence.
    • More money in the bank does not give more freedom.
    • Always look for a void—voids are opportunities.
    • Raising your prices will lead you to people who don’t want you but will track the people who like you.

Hack: There is a huge opportunity within the world of Medicare if you understand the guidelines and regulations
