You may or may not have noticed, but I have taken a step away from social media. I know, it sounds like a pretty bad time to be doing that considering my passion for this podcast. But, listen to today's episode. I have had so many whispers to take this step and for a while, I had no idea why.

So this episode isn't about whether or not you should be on social media. I actually love social media! But I learned a lesson by taking a step back and listening to what my soul was telling me. This episode is a personal story and is proof that listening to those whispers will land you exactly where you are meant to be.

34 - How to Shift in the Midst of Pain Feb 16, 2021
    Show notes

Even with a peaceful disposition and positive outlook on life, sometimes we get a real zinger. Something that hurts us to the core. Something that makes us want to curl up in bed and never come out. It happens. And in today's episode, I have a personal story to share that is intended to show you a different way to see pain.

In this episode, I provide questions to ask yourself in times of crisis to see the entire situation through a different lens. I give you examples of my initial response to a recent crisis and how being reminded of the highest version of myself allowed me to see things through the lens of love.

33 - My Proven Method for SELLING OUT an Event Feb 11, 2021
    Show notes

Something I have discovered about myself over the years is that I love building and designing events! I have also grown into a woman who is not afraid to say that I am also very good at it. This is one of my favorite topics to talk about and I am so excited to share this episode with you.

In today's episode on the Be You Podcast, I share my steps that are proven time and time again to sell out an event. Pre-Covid, this would have meant an in-person event, but now this could also mean an online event, such as the My Best Year Ever Workshop, or even an online course. In this episode, I offer actionable steps to take to get your event or course up and running and successfully hitting your goals. You can get results if you are ready to try these steps.

32 - Joy Harrington: Why Relationships Need Polarity Feb 09, 2021
    Show notes

We've touched on the topic of masculine and feminine energy before, but today we're digging deeper and learning more about polarity. What is it and why do relationships need it? How can feminine energy and polarity affect business, relationships, and everything in between? It is a fascinating topic that I, myself, am learning more about and I found the absolute perfect guest to walk us through it.

Today's guest is Joy Harrington. Joy is a wife and mom of two. She is a stay-at-home-mom turned master coach for women. She's a fashion lover, a fitness junkie, and a faith-driven CEO. When she watched her marriage, business, and life transform while cultivating the superpower of feminine energy, she realized that more women needed this. Now she mentors women who are ready to start thriving in their life instead of surviving it. Joy founded and hosts The Level Up Babe Podcast, a show dedicated to helping others use their rock bottom as their catalyst for growth while leveling up their relationships, business, and mindset.

This woman is a spit-fire and full of energy. Her story will inspire you and throughout our conversation today, I had so many ah-ha moments! I am thrilled to have her here to help us on our own unique journeys.

We all have our triggers. No, really. Everyone has triggers. Some are able to hide them better than others, but we all have them. For so many years, I wasn't listening to my triggers. But what I've learned is that my triggers are smoke signals. They are huge billboards, road signs, and flares pointing to my wounds. And those wounds wanted and needed to be healed.

Triggers aren't bad. They're actually gifts. By observing our own triggers, we can be guided to the wounds that need the work. And by doing that work, we increase our vibration and improve our relationships with those we love. But what happens when we ignore them?

In today's episode, I introduce some of my own triggers and what fear they come from. Through total transparency, I share how I found my wounds through my triggers and discuss what happens when we choose to ignore them. Triggers are one the best tools to use to know yourself better, to help you embrace who you are, and to be you.

    Show notes

If there is just one thing you try and take away from this podcast, I'd say it needs to be mirror work. Awkward and uncomfortable at first, it was incredibly powerful and absolutely life-changing. I know it sounds weird and I was a skeptic at first, too. But remember that we can't grow if we don't get uncomfortable.

This episode is all about how to get started with mirror work and the impact it had on me. I give you the first actionable steps to take in order to start and keep going on your journey to self-love. Do this for yourself and I promise you will notice a huge difference.

27 - Network Marketing: The Myths, Truths and Secrets Jan 21, 2021
    Show notes

Well here we are on episode 127 and I'm finally sharing more about network marketing and my experiences. Many thought I would start with this episode! As I have shared in past discussions, I left my career in nursing for network marketing and have learned so much along the way. I think back to the person I was when I began and I wish I knew then what I know now.

In today's episode, I share what I know. I can pass these experiences on to those who are skeptical, those who are learning more about their own career, and to those who are curious about different ways to grow themselves. Network marketing isn't for everyone, especially if they don't have those three success ingredients we've discussed before. But my hope is that with this episode, you gain a better understanding of the myths, truths, and secrets of network marketing.
