26 - Stefanos Sifandos: Masculine, Feminine, and Attracting Mr. Wrong Jan 19, 2021
    Show notes

What behaviors and attributes do we have that are considered masculine and feminine? I know, for me, I tend to have masculine energy about me especially when it comes to my need to achieve goals. But that's weird, right? I'm a woman after all. Wrong. Masculine and feminine energies are not gender-specific and instead are what make us all human.

My guest today on the Be You Podcast is Stefanos Sifandos. Stefanos is a trained educator and relationship expert with a background in behavioral science. He is passionate about leading people to closer to their highest potential and to each other. Stefanos has worked with thousands of men and women from all walks of life; special forces soldiers, Olympic gold medalists, elite fighters, and everyday people have relied on him to restructure and reframe their relationships with themselves and their loved ones.

Today, he shares with us the difference between the masculine and feminine energies and how the balance between the two is crucial to our well being and in our relationships with others.

25 - Comfortably Numb: How to Break the Autopilot Life Jan 14, 2021
    Show notes

We've all been on autopilot at different times in our lives and for different reasons. And sometimes, there's nothing wrong with autopilot for some things. But why are you in autopilot? Is it numbing? How can you tell if it is numbing?

This episode is heavily inspired by the amazing and beautiful experience of the My Best Year Ever Workshop where I had the opportunity to work with some other amazing women all on the path of growth. In the workshop, we talked about seemingly silly things that could shock us out of a numbing autopilot. As simple and silly as they sound, they work. And inside these little tweaks are opportunities to do deep work on ourselves.

    23 - Inner Work is Not Selfish - It's a Gift Jan 07, 2021
    Show notes

I have heard many times over the years that inner work is selfish. Honestly, it can sometimes feel that way. You are focusing on yourself, doing things for yourself, choosing things for yourself. But in reality, working on YOU is a gift to everyone else, too.

This is the episode where we start to break it down. What are the three steps to this inner work we're always talking about? It is a simple three steps. You may be thinking that it is way too complicated to be this simple. But in today's episode you'll learn that it doesn't have to be complex.

Whatever you want to call it - selfish or selfless - I am certain that inner work is the best gift you can give to everyone you are in a relationship with and the world. What are you waiting for?

    21 - Finding the Gifts and Blessings of 2020 Dec 31, 2020
    Show notes

Worst year ever! I think many can agree, right? 2020 was certainly one for the books and we are glad to see it go, but there are many things that came out of this year that are, quite frankly, miraculous. In today's episode, I don't share every sucky or great thing that happened this year, but I offer some reflection questions for you to ask yourself as you navigate yourself into 2021.

Remember that your journey is your unique story. Take your time. Take deep breaths. Look for the beauty in the packages wrapped in thorns. And be you.

    19 - More AND, Less EITHER Dec 24, 2020
    Show notes

2020 has been an unusual year to say the least. While I will have an episode that wraps up the year, today's episode is all about something new to try in 2021 - the AND conversation. This doesn't come naturally to everyone but is a total game changer. We tend to put ourselves and others in "either or" categories. This is evident in parenting, politics, businesses, everywhere! But it is possible for more than one thing to be true.

In today's episode of Be You, I'm showing you how two things can be true at the same time that are seemingly contradictory. It is okay for them to seem like they don't go together, but you know your truths. This is called the AND conversation and we need more AND in this world and less EITHER.

    Show notes

In a world where the hustle and grind is glorified, a lot of us find ourselves stuck in an exhausting cycle with seemingly no way out. This is subconscious to most of us for a very long time but by asking yourself just three questions, you might find that your hustle is an addiction.

I know first hand what this addiction looks like and in this episode, I share with you my past as a hustle addict. There was a lot and doing and a lot of winning, but I wasn't fulfilled. Little did I know at that time, that by turning inward and slowing down, I would actually grow my business. I know it sounds too good to be true. But I'm telling you that you can be successful, have meaningful and strong relationships, and be you… without the grind.
