    Show notes

It's really about becoming the you that you've been all along. The one that is underneath all the layers. This episode is all about how uncomfortable and scary it is to take risks you know are right for you. Truly listening to your intuition will certainly change things, especially relationships and while that can feel scary and difficult, it means that deeper relationships are on their way. The kind that are in alignment with your true self.

    95 - What Makes a Life Coach Worth Hiring Sep 16, 2021
    Show notes

After just having graduated from Elementum Coaching Institute, I realized that while we discuss a lot of coachable topics on this podcast, I haven't really talked about what a coach actually is. Many people, including myself in the past, don't really know the difference between a coach and a therapist and which one they need. First, you don't need a coach to live a good life, but in the Be You Collective, we're looking to live extraordinary lives and a coach can help guide you through that messy inner work to get there. So, listen on to this episode for insight on what coaches really do, my experience as an Elementum Coaching Institute graduate, and even some coaches I recommend to help you level up.

94 - When You Pivot and They Make It About Them. When They Pivot and YOU Make it About YOU Sep 13, 2021
    Show notes

We've heard and probably used the phrase "live my own life" before. It's great, right? We don't let other people write the scripts for us and we don't make our decisions based on what other people think. Or do we? What does it actually look like if we put that into practice all of the time? Not just about small things. But what about relationships people don't approve of or a major career change? You feel the pull and feel that it's right but then others criticize the decision. Remember that when people mock and criticize, they feel threatened and in this case, the decisions you make no longer fit their expectations of you. This episode is all about how to move forward if you make a choice that puzzles others. But it is also about how to look inward when you feel triggered by someone else's choices.

As we continue on our own unique journeys excavating our real true selves, we must learn to be fully present in whatever season we're in. In that precise moment. Some of these seasons are so hard, painful, and exhausting while others are filled with excitement and joy. But oftentimes we dwell on the negative and forget to soak up the happier moments. How can you fully surrender to the season you are in? How can you accept it as an opportunity to learn and grow?

Right now, the world is a crazy place. We are constantly bombarded with passionate discussions, on and off social media, about conflicting beliefs and opinions. We literally can't escape it! This episode is all about the things to remember when you feel the need to argue or debate. Remember that every single one of us has shit: the fear, insecurities, head trash. 91 - The Bermuda Triangle for Motherhood Sep 02, 2021
    Show notes

As I return home from moving my daughter across the country, I feel called to talk about these deep emotions. I call them "The Bermuda Triangle of Motherhood" and they are control, worry, and fear. I don't know anyone who hasn't felt this way as a parent and as normal as it is to release our children into adulthood, it is so scary. So in this episode, things are a little raw and as I speak to you about giving yourselves grace, I'm still learning to do the same. This episode may be simultaneously challenging and comforting to listen to, because that's motherhood.

    Show notes

After a recent Facebook Live video went viral, it had me thinking. Why this post? Why this live video? Why did this one get noticed? I believe that it's because the message is the truth and it is resonating with people who seek truth. As I continued to think on this and feel the energy from others surrounding the topic of the Facebook Live, I connected to a previous (and heavily downloaded) episode. On this journey of excavating the real you, sometimes you need to revisit some things, even the ones that are uncomfortable. So for today's episode, we are revisiting "What If I'm Wrong?" to continue opening ourselves up to new possibilities.
