Although it may not seem normal, many of us feel the natural need to nest and rest in the winter. January is an unusual month because the common tendency is to go hard into the new year with setting goals and getting things done. But what happens if you go with the season rather than against it? Give yourself the time to be still. When we're still and quiet, you may be surprised by the things that will come to you. It makes sense that while you're quiet, you make yourself available to listen. So take this episode as an invitation to take the time you need and don't feel guilty about it.

For quite some time now, people including me have been ridiculed and blamed for many of the things going on in the world. But now what? I then realized that I had become obsessed through my anger. Today's conversation isn't about the problems at hand, although those were a catalyst for feeling this way, but rather about being an advocate in a way that is in alignment. How can you be an advocate and activist without it triggering all your wounds and to avoid obsession?

112 - Listen to this before looking at "New Year" ANYTHING Dec 27, 2021
    Show notes

There's nothing wrong with goal setting and crushing goals next year. While that has its place, it is really in the shadow of your intention. When your intention is aligned and strong, the how-to comes with it. If we focus on the goal and not the intention, we set ourselves up for failure. Look back at this past year and close it out in a way that is a beautiful release that you can move on from. Don't bury it or skip over it. Accept it and thank it for what it was and now let's make sure we have the right intentions for 2022.

What attracted me to her is the secret to her success: she's truly herself. The goal is to Be You. That has always been how Angie shows up. Through the ups and downs of figuring out her career and passions, she decided to follow what was the right thing to do in her own heart, no matter what others have thought. This is why she is an influencer without trying. This episode is both a warm embrace and a breath of fresh air because authenticity isn't a buzzword for Angie - it's her.
