The embodiment of "we have Platoon at home", this Cannon Film was a far cry from their normal excess and nonsense as it looks like they tried to make a serious Vietnam movie with Michael Dudikoff (the guy from the American Ninja movies). Then they did the most Cannon thing ever and changed the name after Platoon came out to sound just like it. But is it any good? You'll have to listen to find out!

The only people trying to break out are the people that are embarrassed to be in this movie. Because of the time it came out, it does carry a certain charm from that era, and there is lots of ridiculousness to love and roast.
