Discussion : Brendan Conway : MASKS AP Post Interview Jul 19, 2017

Show notes

Hello team! Welcome to the end of our first Young Justice inspired roleplaying game Actual Play special. We were, and still are, honored to have had Brendan Conway, the creator of Masks: A New Generation, the roleplaying game (aka: RPG) run this game for us!

In this conclusion interview we're going to talk to Brendan about what makes Masks different from other RPGs, and a little about how the games works at the table. Also, more like our typical discussions we will learn more about Brendan himself, and how MASKS came to be, as well as what was going on behind the scenes of our actual play.

Tune in to hear Rich geek out and then stick around and listen to everything Brendan has to share.

Also, check out Magpie game website and Twitter.

As always, thanks for listening and all your support. We appreciate each and every one of you more than we can express. If you have a moment to add some additional support, a rating and review on iTunes or your pod catcher of choice would help immensely. And if you have the ability to support us monetarily, we have a Patreon here.

Thank you all, and stay whelmed.

Intel Update 6 Jul 18, 2017

Show notes

Hello Team! Since Rich and Emily record episodes in advance, these quick Intel Updates will serve to let you all know in real time what's happening and what we're working on. These are much more casual than our regular episodes, so expect a little less editing and a little more joking around.

This update talks about the conventions that we have been to and are going to. Also, check out the ENnies here www.ennie-awards.com and vote for some of the people involved with Whelmed. A few details about season three, and our MASKS actual play series.

Thank you all, and stay whelmed.
