In this episode, I interviewed Dr. William Davis a cardiologist who wrote the book “Wheat Belly”. Dr Davis lost his mother to heart disease and the treatments offered by western medicine. This sent him on a journey to discover a different way to approach heart disease which led him to wheat. In this interview, you are going to learn some of the substances in wheat besides gluten that is just plain terrible to the human body. Everybody that cares about their health just a little should take this information to heart and take action to avoid consuming wheat at all costs. Over the last 11 years, I can testify that besides myself I have witnessed hundreds of people improve their health and their children's health dramatically when they stopped consuming wheat. I have had many medical professionals on the show speaking out against the current hospital protocols because they are not working and even worse people are dying from them. In this episode I interviewed Scott Schara, the father of Grace Schara, who was a 19 year old girl with Down’s Syndrome. Grace went into the hospital for treatment and ended up dying there. Scott was tipped off by some of the nurses working at the hospital that his daughter should not have died which led him to investing over 600 hours researching the hospital protocol that was administered to his daughter. What he found is shocking and since that discovery Scott started a non profit to educate others especially parents on what's really going on inside the hospitals these days and what you can do to protect yourself and your family. Chad has been in the industry for a long time and what was most important to me was that he himself has remained healthy and active. I met The Naked Gardener on a podcast where we were both invited to discuss the topic of food. I liked what she was about and followed my excitement to invite her to the show. I was so thankful and excited that the conversation went directly into how stress is directly linked to disease. That is a HUGE takeaway! In particular, we discussed the tremendous amount of stress she had from a toxic relationship that she overcame. If you are in a relationship that is not serving your excitement and happiness then it is dragging down your health. Don’t kid yourself… toxic relationships have no business in anyone's life. If you find yourself there then you have choices. One, open up a dialog and see if your partner is open to listening and making changes. Two, you can leave the relationship. Three, you can stay where you're at and be miserable. It's your choice! I hope that after listening to this episode you will realize how valuable you are and that getting outside in nature does wonder for stress. Lynn Wiltshire was married with a new child and a high-paying corporate job and life were good until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She got surgery, changed her lifestyle, and healed herself naturally but then slipped back into the standard American diet. At the same time, she experienced tremendous stress from a divorce financially, emotionally, and spiritually. 10 years later the cancer was back and one of her scans showed that there was a metal clip left in her breast from the first surgery.
