    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Super-Duper Stores: A Free Shuttle to Walmart and the Costco Cool Factor! Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (7.29) Ever pulled a tugboat with your teeth like fitness legend Jack LaLanne? Timmy kept his Alaska cruise completely offline for safety reasons and says the absolute best thing about the trip was the free shuttle to Walmart.

On a scarier note, DSA co-chair Megan Romer went on Shannon Bream’s show and openly called for abolishing the Senate, replacing the presidency and Supreme Court, abolishing borders and ICE, defunding the Pentagon, abolishing prisons, and ending corporate ownership. Yikes.

Two people missed the Alaska cruise when it left Seattle at 5 p.m., then spent two days chasing it down by plane, boat, and taxi just to catch up in Ketchikan — and it turns out Timmy had met the guy 13 years earlier.

Waymos are causing chaos in Santa Monica by clustering in the same charging zones, and a judge has ordered them to stop. The Boyle Heights warehouse fire aftermath continues with lingering stench, flies, and rodents as kids head back to school. And Costco has somehow become cool with Gen Z and Gen Alpha — the kids are all over the food court, snagging designer dupes, buying merch, and even throwing Costco-themed parties.

Well Crap, It’s a Coyote Condo Construction Conundrum Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (7.29) Timmy’s finally home from his Alaska cruise with 144 friends, fans, and probable future enemies — and somehow the whole group didn’t get kicked off the ship and forced to hitchhike home on a rusty school bus. Between the glaciers, the casino, and pure Conway Show chaos, this trip already feels like a “never again… until next year” classic. Ding-dong, welcome back.

Timmy and Crozier settled the Paralympics vs. Special Olympics debate once and for all: Paralympics is elite competition for athletes with physical or visual disabilities who have to qualify; Special Olympics is all about inclusion for athletes with intellectual disabilities of every ability level. Timmy summed it up perfectly: One is, “You better be damn good,” the other is, “Everybody plays.”

Meanwhile, Timmy still claims he’s not a nature guy… yet can’t escape Jackie and Shadow’s eagle drama, Seattle’s short-spined raccoon Jimothy, or the late bipedal bear Pedals. His official advice? Stop watching the animal cams — it always ends in tears. And in West Hollywood, at least four coyotes have taken over an abandoned luxury condo construction site, sunbathing in the unfinished building and howling loud enough to annoy the neighbors in one of the most expensive zip codes in town.

From Homeless to Homer, It’s An Odyssey Outrage! Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour with Mark Thompson Hour 1 (7.27)

Mark Thompson is in the chair tonight filling in for Tim Conway Jr., who’s off on his Alaska cruise. Mark just touched down hours ago with his soon-to-be wife Courtney from their European vacation to her ancestral homeland of Croatia. They kicked things off in London during a stifling heatwave and even had a theater run-in with the sexy new couple Meryl Streep and Martin Short. Mark only spotted two homeless people the whole time he was in London — so why can’t LA and its homeless industrial complex do better?

Has anyone seen “The Odyssey”? The big-screen remake of the classic tale is crushing it at the box office and helping rescue Hollywood. Was it really written by the blind poet Homer? Turns out the story kept changing every time it was told over the centuries. One classics professor who translated the original text that inspired Christopher Nolan’s film just ripped the movie to shreds, calling it an absolute stinker.

Meanwhile, big cities are losing kids as families pack up and move to smaller towns — the number of children under 18 in major urban areas has dropped 10% in the past decade, while fertility rates keep falling across the country.

Roxette Exits Stage Left, As Does Dolly Parton’s Brother Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour with Mark Thompson Hour 2 (7.27)

Mark’s getting married in a few days and just returned from a special trip with the love of his life, Courtney, to England and her ancestral homeland of Croatia, where her family history stretches back 500 years. Courtney jumps on the phone to share highlights, including seeing her favorite artist Ludovico Einaudi perform for the 30th time and catching the London theater production “1536” about Henry VIII and the beheaded Anne Boleyn.

Swedish pop-rock duo Roxette has canceled their entire US tour, blaming expenses and logistics — though soft ticket sales may have played a role. Mark recently caught a downtown LA band whose singer sounded exactly like Taylor Dayne — only to discover the whole group, including the vocalist, were men in drag performing under the name Transatlantic.

In sadder news, iconic “You’re So Vain” singer Carly Simon, 83, is battling both cancer and Parkinson’s disease. The daughter of a Simon & Schuster founder and an activist mother grew up in the Bronx and has become increasingly reclusive as her health declined. And one year after Dolly Parton lost her husband of 60 years, Carl Dean, her brother Coy “Denver” Parton has died at 82. With 12 siblings in the Parton household, it’s no wonder Dolly never had kids of her own.

RunPee, Free as a Turd During ‘The Odyssey’ Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour with Mark Thompson Hour 3 (7.27)

Mark kicks off the hour with a flood of listener TalkBacks — strong opinions flying about England and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. One caller tips everyone off to RunPee, the free app that tells you the perfect moment to duck out for a bathroom break so you don’t miss key scenes (it even rates the dull stretches and warns you about post-credit scenes).

Mark downloads it on the air and puts it to the test. He also paints a poetic picture of Croatia, saying the Adriatic country looks a lot like the wizarding world of Harry Potter. In Hollywood news, Tom Holland (also in The Odyssey) is officially the most bankable young star, with his films raking in around $12 billion. Is Covid making a quiet comeback?

Up in Big Bear, Jackie the bald eagle is still in the hospital after that brutal gang attack by other eagles, while her mate Shadow appears to be cozying up to one of the attackers. She’s improving but remains in critical condition. And for the free-spirited, Mark rattles off 25 of the world’s best nudist beaches for anyone who prefers to go sans pants.

London Calling, Croatia Looming, ‘The Odyssey’ Peeing Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour with Mark Thompson Hour 4 (7.27)

When Mark was in London he only saw two people sleeping rough — proof the UK seems to handle homelessness far better than Los Angeles. With LAHSA about to get a massive budget boost, Mayor Karen Bass has some explaining to do about the city’s churn-and-burn homeless industrial complex.

Switching gears, has anyone actually seen Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”? Turns out the original story kept changing every time it was told, and one classics professor who translated the source material just shredded Nolan’s film, calling it an absolute stinker.

Mark also took his fiancée Courtney on a deep dive into her Croatian roots on the island of Hvar, where her family has lived for 12 generations. She was told no relatives remained… until she actually found them.

Mark opens the TalkBacks and the calls are flying — strong opinions on England and The Odyssey — plus a listener tips everyone off to a free app called RunPee that tells you the perfect time to hit the bathroom during a movie without missing key scenes.
