    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Make-A-Wish That Your Back-to-School Supplies Don’t Cost an Arm and a Leg Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.5) The Carolina Panthers and Make-A-Wish just made six-year-old Asher Harvey’s dream come true. The little boy, who lives with congenital heart failure and has already had three open-heart surgeries, gets to be quarterback for a day. You have to wonder if the defensive line got a quiet “take it easy on the kid” talk.

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $786 million — still a better gamble than a diarrhea-laced public pool.

Timmy drops some practical tips for parents staring down the average $600 back-to-school supply bill and shares smarter ways to keep costs down. McDonald’s claims it’s struggling even while its stock keeps climbing.

On the diamond, the Dodgers landed left-hander Tarik Skubal, one of the best pitchers in baseball, and Bob Costas weighs in on why the Dodgers are not “ruining” the game with their big moves.

And in Boyle Heights the nightmare continues: residents are still suffering from the putrid, rodent-infested fallout of the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire, and today’s public hearing made it clear that neither politicians nor the property owners are doing nearly enough about the stench.

Trump’s Chopper Stopper Could Have Been a Massive Big Bopper Whopper Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.5) Whenever President Trump lifts off in Marine One for Andrews Air Force Base, the skies around Ronald Reagan National Airport — just 3.5 miles away — are supposed to go completely quiet. No takeoffs, no landings. That rule was broken yesterday when a commercial jet blasted off while the president’s helicopter was still in the air, creating a serious near-miss that violated long-standing security protocol.

The alleged Trump stalker arrested with a gun and bullets at Trump National Golf Club has an unusual first name — Jeanine — which immediately sent Timmy into Johnny Cash mode and “A Boy Named Sue.” That led to a classic Conway story: Back in his limo-driving days, Timmy once picked Cash up at LAX to drive him to a music festival in Antelope Valley where he was the main draw, spent three days chauffeuring him around greater LA, and watched the Man in Black insist on riding shotgun because he wasn’t that kind of celebrity. At the end of the gig, Cash handed him a golden ticket.

Meanwhile, public pools are still open, but chlorine is not Purell. Cryptosporidium can live in the water for up to 10 days, and cyclospora isn’t just on your shredded lettuce anymore — so shower first and maybe keep your mouth closed. Chipotle is dealing with a jalapeño recall that may be tied to a salmonella outbreak, and Timmy admits he was so desperate at Burbank Airport that he accidentally charged into the women’s restroom. Nature did not care about the signs on the door.

Seven Break-Ins in One Month — Why Is NOBODY Watching This LA Neighborhood?" Aug 05, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.4) Big morning, big energy. President Trump touches down at his Rancho Palos Verdes golf course for an RNC fundraiser before jetting to Vegas tonight — Angel Martinez has every road closure you need to survive the commute. Then a public service announcement that might save your bank account: think twice before logging onto that hotel or airport WiFi. Plus, thieves hit Urban Pet in the Fairfax district.

Conway floats joining the Democratic Socialists for one reason and one reason only: to cancel Thanksgiving. No stuffing, no small talk, no sitting up straight at a 40-person table while the game's on in the other room. Relatable? Unhinged? You decide.

Then the story everyone's talking about — Crystal View in Tujunga. Seven cul-de-sacs. Roughly 100 homes. At least seven break-ins in the past month. One LAPD cruiser assigned at a time. An officer told us this is "typically" a San Fernando Valley problem — so why is it here now? Residents are on edge and want answers.

We close it out with Walker Hayes bringing "Fancy Like" to Morongo, and the latest out of Spokane, where 37-year-old Aaron Farinacci was arrested Monday in connection with the Old Trails Fire — the largest of three major fires burning in the area.

Traffic. True crime. Turkey-day treason. Let's go.

Palisades Village Rises Again — Plus the Beloved Café LA Is Losing After 28 Years" Aug 05, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.4) Seven months of ash, and now a ribbon cutting. ✂️Palisades Village is coming back. Rick Caruso's $100 million interior rebuild — plus environmental cleanup and a full renovation after the January 2025 Palisades Fire — wraps with an official reopening Saturday, August 15. Seventy percent of the businesses are returning, restaurants included. For a neighborhood that lost so much, this one actually feels like a milestone. 🏗️Then the other side of the coin: Marmalade Café at Calabasas Commons is closing after 28 years. Twenty-eight. If you had a birthday brunch, a first date, or a Sunday standing order there, this one stings. 🍋Over to Michigan, where four states held primaries and one race is pulling the whole Democratic Party apart in public. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, progressive former public health official, versus Rep. Haley Stevens, the centrist with party leadership behind her — bitter, expensive, and locked in a dead heat as votes are tallied. The winner defends retiring Sen. Gary Peters' seat in a battleground state that could decide control of the Senate. We break down why a Michigan primary matters everywhere. 🗳️Plus, LA Councilwoman Ysabel Jurado unveils a legislative package aimed at helping Boyle Heights recover from the Lineage warehouse fire.Rebuilds, goodbyes, and a race too close to call. Press play. 🎧

"Calling Dr. Bombay! Emergency! Come right away!" Aug 05, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.4) A packed hour. Let's move. We open with spooky season kicking down the door in August — Spirit Halloween stores are popping up nationwide. 🎃 Then the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art gets its launch date: September 22 in Los Angeles. And speaking of galaxies far, far away — Neil Saavedra's R2-D2 build is officially so involved that Neil's basically "C2PO" at this point. 🤖 Plus Trump lands in LA for an RNC event at his Rancho Palos Verdes golf club, and Bryan Kohberger brings on a new attorney amid his bid to withdraw his plea.

Then the big one: the official cause of the Eaton Fire. A joint investigation report from the LA County Fire Department and Cal Fire finds an out-of-service Southern California Edison transmission tower sparked the devastating January 2025 blaze. 🔥

Baseball too — Tarik Skubal makes his Dodgers debut. ⚾ Neil checks back in with the number nobody was ready for: how much has that R2-D2 actually cost? We're calling Dr. Bombay. And an update on Courtney Clenney, still jailed in Miami on second-degree murder charges with a plea deal pending.

Then the question that always splits the phones: would you actually be happy as a billionaire? 💰

We close with a goodbye to Vincent Pastore, best known for The Sopranos, at 80. Trump heads out of LA for Vegas. And a surprisingly common confession — a lot of adults never learned to ride a bike, and now they're taking lessons. 🚲

Cancel Thanksgiving, Rebuild the Palisades & Spirit Halloween in August?!" Aug 05, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.4) He's not joining for politics. He's joining for the turkey. 🦃❌

Conway is considering the Democratic Socialists — on ONE issue and one issue only: cancel Thanksgiving. No stuffing. No pressure. No cooking, no sitting up straight, no behaving yourself at a 40-person table while the game is on in the other room. Is it unhinged? Is it the most relatable thing you'll hear all week? You decide. 🍽️

Then the good news LA's been waiting on: Palisades Village is reopening Saturday, August 15. Rick Caruso's $100 million interior rebuild — plus environmental cleanup and full renovation after the January 2025 Palisades Fire — brings back 70% of the businesses, restaurants included. 🏗️

The flip side: Marmalade Café at Calabasas Commons is closing after 28 years. Brunches, birthdays, standing Sunday orders — gone. If that was your spot, pour one out. 🍋

And finally… it's happening. Spirit Halloween stores are popping up nationwide. Spooky season has officially bulldozed its way into August, and honestly? We're not mad about it. 🎃👻

Turkey treason, a rebuild, a farewell, and an inflatable skeleton in a strip mall. Hit play. 🎧

Welcome to Wild Kingdom, Where If the Parasites Won’t Get You, Papa Bear Will Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.3) Timmy’s back for another Monday with his BFF and intrepid traveler Mark Thompson, who’s still dishing on that scorching Europe trip where it was hotter than Hades. Timmy keeps the adventure rolling with more stories from his Alaska cruise with KFI fans and iHeart friends — he felt like he was 90 years old and loved every second of it, even catching himself eyeing walkers like they were go-go dancers in the club.

With the whole crew in the studio, it’s the perfect moment to blast Bob Krause’s classic “KFI Misfits” — no notes, pure 10.

Hollywood just posted a record-breaking box office weekend: “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” swung in with a massive $360 million debut (biggest opening ever), while Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” added another $51 million. The crew is Hollywood-adjacent, so Timmy says it’s time to promote the hell out of the local industry.

On a darker note, the cyclosporiasis parasite outbreak linked to Big Lettuce has now claimed two lives (both with serious underlying conditions). And in eagle news, experts believe Jackie the anemic bald eagle was attacked by her own kids, Sandy and Luna, because they wanted the fish she’d just caught. Those little ingrates!

Venice Pier Vroom-Vroom Goes from Bad to Worse for One Drunken Dame Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.3) Tonight’s guest is Erica Shearer, a dedicated third-grade teacher from Mission Viejo who teaches at Glen Taylor Elementary in Henderson, Nevada. She’s got an Amazon Wish List up for classroom supplies — crafts, headphones, pencils, books, the works — so go show her some love.

Over in the WNBA, after the league’s rough handling of Caitlin Clark, they’re now targeting Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham for standing firm that women’s sports should stay for women.

Timmy’s been house-hunting (in spirit) and is obsessed with a sprawling Bakersfield estate that features four kitchens, six living rooms, six bedrooms, a river, pool, gym, game room, and an eight-car garage — all for a “bargain” $2.7 million.

In crime news, a violent crash ended a police pursuit in Compton, while a drunk woman barreled her car onto the Venice Pier, nearly hitting pedestrians before cops caught up. On the diamond, the Dodgers just landed the best left-handed pitcher in baseball, Tarik Skubal, from the Detroit Tigers. And one very lucky Florida collector uncovered a rare Shohei Ohtani card valued at $11 million — proof that there’s still no crying in baseball

    We Got 95 Problems But a 95-Cent Pastrami Sarnie from Canter’s Ain’t One! Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.3) In-N-Out is sacred ground, so the weekend mass shooting at the chain’s brand-new Idaho location that left three people dead hits especially hard as the beloved burger joint expands across the country. Closer to home, a man was fatally shot on a Van Nuys street, and the suspect remains at large.

Powerball rolled over again, pushing the jackpot to $748 million, though one lucky Angeleno did cash a winning ticket at the same gas station where Mark used to settle up with his bookie. Canter’s Deli on Fairfax is celebrating its 95th birthday with a special 95-cent pastrami sandwich plate — but you’ve got to move fast because the deal ends at midnight. The actual Powerball numbers: 8, 30, 41, 48, 54 and the Powerball is 4. Nothing’s more annoying than the guy who buys one ticket and hits it.

Timmy tried calling Canter’s live on their big anniversary night and got shut down because the TV cameras were already lined up for that famous pastrami. And in the Valley, Hearts Coffee Shop — a local staple since 1979 — is closing for good on August 9. They’ve launched a GoFundMe to try to stay open but still need to hit their $16,000 goal.

A Lottery Winner, Hungry Eagles & Cruise Chaos Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.3) We welcome Mark back from his trip, and we get a second round of Tim's cruise

The cyclosporiasis outbreak linked to contaminated lettuce has now claimed two lives (both with serious underlying conditions). And up in Big Bear, the latest theory is that Jackie the bald eagle was attacked by her own kids, Sandy and Luna, who just wanted the fish she’d caught.

Henderson, Nevada teacher Erica Shearer joins the show with an Amazon Wish List for her new third-grade classroom — craft supplies, headphones, books, the works. Timmy vows that if he hits Powerball, he’s taking every kid in her class to the Dollar Tree.

Powerball rolled over again to $748 million, but one lucky Angeleno scored a winning ticket at the same gas station where Mark used to pay his bookie. Small world.
