Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

    Foosh Accident, One-Year Later! Aug 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.7) It's the last weekend of summer for a lot of families, and it started rough — eight children were hurt after a car slammed into a preschool in Glendale. Then everything shifts to the Grapevine. The Ridge Fire near Gorman has grown to roughly 1,000 acres, doubling in just the last few hours, with a fire-nado reported at around 100 feet high and evacuation orders now in effect. The 5 is a mess through the pass, parts of the 138 are shut down, and there's a closure at Highway 126 affecting the Camarillo, Fillmore and Ojai corridor. We've got traffic updates throughout the hour and the latest on containment as crews work the ridge. The show is under construction around all of it — we're going wherever the story goes. And on a quieter note, today marks one year since Foosh's car accident.

Conway, A Selfish Lover? Flash Freezing, Firenado & Foosh Aug 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.7) Neil Saavedra, the Fork Reporter, is with us as the Ridge Fire doubles to roughly 1,000 acres and a fire-nado about 100 feet high spins over the Grapevine, with a motorcycle crash separately jamming the 15 southbound through Victorville and Hesperia. Angel checks in later with better news — the 5 southbound has reopened in Gorman. But the heart of this hour belongs to Stefan "The Foosh." It's been exactly one year since his accident, and we go back through that day, everything since, and one more thank you to the first responders and everyone who showed up when it counted. Conway, meanwhile, faces a far less noble line of questioning: is he a selfish lover? Then Saavedra takes us to Wildfork in Encino to talk flash freezing, and why your home freezer is failing you — it's simply too slow. Freeze food fast and the water inside forms tiny ice crystals instead of big ones, so cell walls stay intact and the flavor and juice stay put. His at-home fix: spread single pieces — berries, cuts of meat — on a baking sheet so nothing touches, freeze for two to three hours, then bag them. No clumps, no mush.

L.A. Owns 20,000 Vacant Lots. So Why Isn't Anything Getting Built? Aug 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.7) The Kings clean out their lockers after Colorado ended their season, and Anze Kopitar walks away after eight straight playoff exits — we get into the exit interviews and what this franchise looks like without him. Traffic-wise there's relief and pain at the same time: the 5 is open in both directions at the Grapevine, but you're still staring down a 19-mile backup. Then we plan an escape — the Conway Cruise to Puerto Rico and the Virgin and British Islands, sailing within five to eight miles of Cuba. After that, a look at how car insurance companies can legally charge single people and widows more than married drivers, and a warning about a genuinely dangerous weight-loss trend making the rounds online in which people are deliberately trying to infect themselves with a parasite. We're not going to walk you through it — we're going to tell you why doctors want it to stop. We close on the big one: the City of L.A. is sitting on roughly 20,000 vacant lots while the homelessness crisis grinds on. Why isn't anything getting built? Plus, a look at rising food insecurity across the country.

One Year Since Foosh's Accident — Plus a Fire-Nado on the Grapevine Aug 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.7) It's the last weekend of summer for a lot of families, and it opened with hard news out of Glendale — eight children were hurt after a car slammed into a preschool. Then Neil Saavedra, the Fork Reporter, joins us as the Ridge Fire near Gorman doubles to roughly 1,000 acres with a reported fire-nado towering about 100 feet over the Grapevine, plus a motorcycle crash backing up the 15 southbound through Victorville and Hesperia. But the thread running through the whole hour is a personal one: it's been exactly one year since Stefan "The Foosh" was in his accident. We go back to that day, what the last twelve months have looked like, and — once again — a thank you to the first responders and everyone else who got him through it. Conway also gets put on trial for something entirely unrelated and considerably less heroic. Is he a selfish lover? The jury is out.

Water Mains Breaking, One Locked Toilet, and a $22K Baseball Broadcast. Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.6) It was a rough morning for LA's pipes. Crews from the Department of Water and Power scrambled to shut down a main break in the Hollywood Hills — no major flooding, but the roadway took a hit — while a second rupture hit Sunset and a geyser erupted on Mango Way in Brentwood. We break down what's actually going on underground and why it keeps happening. Then: hikers at Runyon Canyon are still staring at a two-stall prefab restroom that cost nearly $1 million, craned into place back in February and fenced off ever since. Sinks, lighting, sidewalks — all there. Doors? Locked. Six months and counting. Finally, a lighter one: a fan paid roughly $22,000 at a Phillies charity auction to call the third inning against the Nationals, sat down next to Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen, and sounded so polished the clip went viral. Some people just have the pipes.

MTV, Macarena, and the rest. Where were you? Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.6) We open with the raid that turned up 251 dogs at an unlicensed L.A. County kennel connected to "Exorcist" actor Linda Blair — and yes, Conway has thoughts about the cleanup crew. Then a fast round: real progress on the dog allergy front for people who love dogs and pay for it in antihistamines, a new TikTok deal opening the door for creators to work with Disney brands, and a former California State Parks superintendent in court over accusations he secretly recorded lifeguards. After that, health officials say a person infected with measles spent 11 hours at Universal Studios — we'll tell you what that actually means if you were there. Plus Los Angeles Pierce College put its football program on hiatus for the entire 2026 season on August 4, citing a roster so thin it wasn't safe to take the field weeks before the opener. We close with EV sales sliding somewhere between 20% and 27% year over year — the hangover from expired federal tax credits, sticker prices averaging around $57,000, and a rush of buyers who pulled purchases forward before the subsidies died. Our advice: lease first, find out if you actually like it. And then we get nostalgic — MTV, the Macarena, and the rest. Where were you?

Waymo Is Stealing All the Good Parking Spots. Costco Parking Wars Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.6) We kick off in full nostalgia mode — MTV, the Macarena, and all the where-were-you moments that date you instantly. Bellio's husband works as an adaptive ski instructor, a certified instructor with specialized training to teach people with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities how to ski and snowboard safely, and it's a genuinely cool job most people don't know exists. Plus Nicolas Cage is playing John Madden in a biopic headed to Prime Video. Then KTLA's David Lazarus stops by with a deep cut: he was in "Bad News Bears" — playing for the opposing team — filmed at Mason Park in Chatsworth, Mason just north of Devonshire. Conway counters with his runway modeling era and his CB radio days talking to truck drivers. That rolls straight into a convoy conversation and the general struggle of getting along with technology, including the growing problem of Waymos hogging every good parking spot in the city. Waymo woes, fully documented. We close with the Hollywood mystery of the week: someone is apparently living inside a billboard high above the Sunset Strip, and at least one neighbor waves to him every single day.

Runyon's Toilet Is Still Locked, 251 Dogs at a Hollywood Star's Kennel Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.6) The Runyon Canyon restroom that won't quit: a two-stall prefab unit craned in near the Fuller Avenue entrance back in February at a price tag pushing $1 million, and six months later hikers still can't get through the fence. Stalls, sinks, sidewalks, lighting — all installed, all off-limits. Then a story that actually feels good: Lewis Kalb dropped roughly $22,000 in a Phillies charity auction to call the third inning against the Nationals, sat in with Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen, and turned in a broadcast so clean it went viral. From there it gets strange — investigators pulled 251 dogs from an unlicensed L.A. County kennel connected to "Exorcist" actor Linda Blair. Do the math on that cleanup. We close with a fast round: promising research for dog allergy sufferers, a new TikTok deal opening Disney brands to creators, and a former California State Parks superintendent in court on accusations he secretly recorded lifeguards.

A Boy Named Jeanine: Johnny Cash Must Be Turning in His Grave Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.5) Timmy opens with grim news out of San Bernardino County: A deputy was shot while serving a search warrant east of Palmdale after a shootout. The update comes quickly — the officer is stable and expected to pull through, while the suspect who fired the shots is dead. Meanwhile, the man arrested at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles with a gun and a pocketful of bullets, Marine veteran Jeanine John Taele, is under further investigation after police searched his Downey home.

In a separate security scare, a commercial jet took off from Ronald Reagan National Airport yesterday while President Trump was airborne in Marine One — a clear violation of the long-standing rule that freezes all flights at the airport just 3.5 miles from the White House during presidential helicopter movements.

And in a much lighter moment, Timmy ties the stalker’s unusual first name to Johnny Cash’s “A Boy Named Sue,” then shares a classic story from his limo-driving days: he once picked Cash up at LAX, drove him to a festival in the Antelope Valley, and spent three days chauffeuring the Man in Black, who insisted on riding shotgun because he “wasn’t that kind of celebrity.” At the end of the gig, Cash handed Timmy a golden ticket.

Hot Tub Pimples in Your Diarrhea-Drenched Pool — It’s a Real Risk Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.5) LAUSD kids head back to school next week on August 12, officially ending summer for a lot of families. Speaking of summer, public pools are still open, but how clean are they really? Chlorine is not Purell, so showering before you swim actually matters. Cryptosporidium can survive in pool water for up to 10 days, and cyclospora isn’t just hanging out on your shredded lettuce anymore.

In Memphis, Fox 13 anchor Dominique Dillon (a mom of two) had a full “Sleeping Beauty” moment when she nodded off on live TV during the morning broadcast.

Closer to home, we go live to a joint press conference with LA County Sheriff Robert Luna and San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus for updates on the Antelope Valley deputy shooting. The deputy, a man in his 30s, was hit just below the ribcage but is stable and expected to make a full recovery.

On the fast-food front, Chipotle is dealing with a jalapeño recall that may be tied to a salmonella outbreak. And Timmy shares a classic airport emergency: he was so desperate at Burbank Airport that he accidentally charged straight into the women’s restroom.
