    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Shadow Waited Four Days Aug 15, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.14) Shadow found company four days after Jackie died. KD-1 is 4½, banded, and she's already rearranging Jackie's sticks. Conway can't quit Jackie!

Jackie died on August 10 after nearly a month of intensive care at the Ojai Raptor Center, following her rescue near Big Bear Lake. Shadow's last nest visit had been July 23 — then on August 10, hours after her death was announced, a young, banded eagle called KD-1 turned up at the nest. She hatched in the Prado Basin in 2022, about 70 miles from Big Bear, and biologists say she's just about old enough to mate. We get into it, plus the LAX train that finally has a date.

Margarita Hands Is a Real Diagnosis Aug 15, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.14) There's a medical name for what happens to the guy squeezing limes in the sun. There's a hammerhead off the Malibu pier. And the catalytic converter crew now travels with armed security.

8:05 — Margarita hands. It's phytophotodermatitis: lime juice on the skin, then UVA light, then a burn that shows up hours later. Plus the hammerhead sighting off the Malibu pier and the marine heat wave pushing rays into the shallows — Bolsa Chica and Huntington State Beaches have logged more than 3,100 stings so far this year, twice their total for all of 2025, and San Diego recorded more than 900 in the first half of 2026 alone. One state parks superintendent points to ocean temperatures that never dropped below 60 all winter. Also: Malibu declares an emergency on homelessness.

The Night Jay Leno Called Obama Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.13) Jay Leno stops by the Conway Show for one of the best hours we've had all year — and he holds nothing back. Jay walks Tim through the fire accident in his garage: how it happened, what he remembers, and the recovery that followed. It's the story people have asked about for years, told first-hand. He rewinds all the way to the beginning — arriving in Los Angeles with nothing, chasing stage time, and the version of this city that doesn't exist anymore. Then it's pure Tonight Show. Jay on what it was actually like behind that desk during the biggest years in late night, the monologue grind, the guests — and the night he picked up the phone and called President Obama. Classic Conway: relevant, irreverent, and one of the great interviews in the archive. This is the Best of Conway. 🎙️ The Tim Conway Jr. Show — weeknights 6–10PM on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio app. Jay Leno, Jay Leno garage fire, Jay Leno interview, Jay Leno burns, Jay Leno Tonight Show, late night TV, Jay Leno's Garage, Barack Obama, Obama phone call, Tim Conway Jr, Conway Show, KFI AM 640, best of Conway, Los Angeles comedy, comedy legends, stand-up comedy, Hollywood stories, celebrity interview, LA radio, talk radio, iHeartRadio

Jay Leno on the Garage Fire Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.13) One of the best hours in the Conway archive, and Jay Leno is only half of it. Jay walks Tim through the fire accident in his garage: how it happened, what he remembers, and the recovery that followed. It's the story people have asked about for years, told first-hand. He rewinds to the beginning — arriving in Los Angeles with nothing, chasing stage time, and the version of this city that doesn't exist anymore. Then it's pure Tonight Show. What it was actually like behind that desk during the biggest years in late night, the monologue grind, the guests — and the night he picked up the phone and called President Obama. Jay also gets into his Italian roots and why he flat-out refuses to ever have a statue made of himself. His reasoning is very Leno. Then the crew turns on Tim. Why Conway would never take the morning shift — an ambition conversation that gets a little too honest a little too fast. Plus, birth order: firstborn, middle child, baby of the family, only child, and what your slot in the lineup supposedly says about you. It nails everybody in the studio. And Mark closes it out with a cruise story that goes wrong in every way a vacation can go wrong. Don't book anything until you hear it. Relevant, irreverent, and the whole room in one hour. This is the Best of Conway.🎙️ The Tim Conway Jr. Show — weeknights 6–10PM on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio app. Jay Leno, Jay Leno garage fire, Jay Leno interview, Jay Leno Tonight Show, Jay Leno Italian, late night TV, Barack Obama, Obama phone call, birth order personality, firstborn traits, middle child, only child, cruise horror story, travel nightmare, Tim Conway Jr, Conway Show, Mark Thompson, KFI AM 640, best of Conway, Los Angeles, comedy legends, celebrity interview, LA radio, talk radio, iHeartRadio

The Michelob Jingles, From Memory Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.13) The crew goes deep on Michelob — where it came from, what it meant, and whether it deserves a comeback. That turns into an argument over what the top beer actually is right now, with nobody agreeing on anything. Then they start pulling Michelob jingles out of the vault from memory. If you grew up with those commercials, this one's going to hit. And it ends exactly where a Conway show ends: everybody telling their worst bathroom story. You've been warned. Relevant, irreverent, and the whole room in one hour. This is the Best of Conway. 🎙️ The Tim Conway Jr. Show — weeknights 6–10PM on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio app.#ConwayShow #TimConwayJr #KFIAM640 #BestOfConway #Michelob #BeerTalk #RetroCommercials #JingleMemories #Nostalgia #80sKids #LARadio #TalkRadio #iHeartRadio #Podcast #SoCal

Tim Conway Sr. Lost His Temper Once! Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.13) The one-time Tim Conway Sr. genuinely lost his temper — and it was over a computer. If you know his reputation, that's the whole joke.

Hypnosis — Tim tried it to quit smoking. How it went, what it actually felt like, and whether any of it stuck.
The Conway Sr. story — the single time his dad lost it.
Costco — the crew lays out the unwritten rules. Sample etiquette, parking lot lawlessness, the receipt check, the things everybody does and nobody admits to. Consider this the official code.
Candy and swimsuits — the candy nobody makes anymore, and exactly how long a bathing suit is supposed to last. The answer is upsetting.

Relevant, irreverent, and the whole room in one hour. This is the Best of Conway.

Lakers Sold to Kushner and Iger for $12.5 Billion! Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.12) The biggest news in SoCal? The LA Lakers have been flipped in record time, sold for a staggering $12.5 billion to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger. Previous owner Mark Walter walked away with a cool $2.5 billion profit after owning the team for only a few months. Can The Foosh even name the Lakers’ all-time greats? With seven planets aligning tonight, Timmy brings in the Duke of Sports Eric Sklar to break down the wild deal. Walter had bought a majority stake for $10 billion in June 2025, only for federal insurance impropriety questions to surface a month ago — and now this lightning-fast $12.5 billion flip.

Still mourning Jackie the bald eagle, who passed after weeks of intensive care at a SoCal raptor center, Timmy welcomes new KFI reporter Jason Nathanson to the studio to track what will happen with her remains. And California Attorney General candidate Michael Gates calls in to talk campaign, challenging Rob Bonta for the job. We’re rooting for him!

Brodyfest 2026: The 818 Benefit for Brody Stevens. Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.12) Timmy’s studio is packed with comedy royalty tonight as he welcomes Zoe Friedman and Amber J. Lawson, co-founders of the nonprofit Comedy Gives Back — the real safety net for stand-up comics who need a hand. Next week they’re hosting the annual 818 Benefit: Brody Stevens Festival of Friendship Show at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood, raising money for comedians in crisis. Zoe’s dad was the legendary Budd Friedman, founder of The Improv (now 23 locations strong), the man who discovered Adam Sandler and managed Jay Leno. Speaking of Leno… who’s that calling the hotline?

Zoe also booked talent for David Letterman and helped develop shows like “Crank Yankers,” “The Man Show,” and “Loveline” at Comedy Central. The duo was close with the late Brody Stevens, the larger-than-life 818 comic from Reseda, which is why this benefit means so much.

Rounding out the hour, KFI’s own House Whisperer Dean Sharp calls in to plug his new website, housewhisperer.design — the go-to resource for anyone looking to turn their ordinary house into an extraordinary home.
