    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

16 Hours in the Ocean, Found Alive Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.19) A Long Beach man spends the night alone in the ocean and lives, four 40-story towers for seniors are headed for Warner Center, and Tim finds a saved voicemail from his dad. The hour opens on prediction markets and what the Florida upset would have paid out, then Costco and nonprofit insurer SCAN Health Plan partnering on Medicare Advantage products in two states and a Medicare supplement in a third, pending regulatory approval — the retailer's first entry into the Medicare market. Then Tim, scrolling his phone, finds his father's voice still on it. From there: Paul Carbullido Jr., 53, was found 16 hours after he was reported missing — a husband and father of four on a personal watercraft for the first time in his life. He can't swim. Coast Guard crews found him floating nearly three miles south of the Seal Beach Pier around 10:45 a.m., body temperature down to 86 degrees, and he says his life vest is what let him paddle all night. Plus the Viva project headed for Warner Center: four towers, roughly 40 floors, more than 3,000 units of affordable senior housing, part of a much wider redevelopment. Councilmember Bob Blumenfield calls it the future of senior housing — "kind of like Golden Girls on steroids." And the crew closes out on Harry and Meghan, their post-royal business record, and whether the American public has moved on.

Tim Finds a Voicemail from His Dad Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.19) Tim finds a saved voicemail from his dad, Tim Conway, plus Costco getting into the Medicare business and a very big night for a very underfunded candidate in Florida. The hour opens on the City Council's 10-3 vote to remove 12 designated enforcement zones under the city's 41.18 anti-camping law — supporters say it lets the city focus on outreach and housing; opponents warn about public safety and quality of life. Crozier offers his own L.A. housing history: he slept on a branch in a tree when he first moved here. Then Conway on going to Agua Caliente with his dad and everything that track gave racing — the Pick 6, which started there as the "5-10," along with the starting gate and safety helmets, and Anna Lee Aldred, the first American woman licensed to ride, who got that license at Caliente. Plus, the Coast Guard on pulling a jet skier out of the ocean. Then the Florida Democratic Senate primary, where progressive state Rep. Angie Nixon upset former National Security Council aide Alex Vindman, and what that would have paid on Poly-market and Kalshi. And to close it out: Costco and nonprofit insurer SCAN Health Plan are partnering on Medicare Advantage products in two states and a Medicare supplement in a third, pending regulatory approval — the retailer's first entry into the Medicare market — and then Tim, going through his phone, finds his father's voice waiting on it.

    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.18) A Long Beach jet skier spent the night in the ocean before rescuers finally spotted him offshore. Plus, a runaway pig tears through West Hollywood, a troubling new Boyle Heights health report, and why Los Angeles has become America's wire-theft capital.

6:05 PM Tim misses the days when everyone was unplugged. Crozier returns after a short break and shares a chance encounter with Angel out in the wild. Tim also digs into a new report on the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire in Boyle Heights, where residents continue reporting respiratory problems, anxiety, sleep disruption and other health concerns tied to the ongoing cleanup.

Then, Tim reacts to the viral video of a runaway pig nicknamed "Wilbur" leading an e-bike rider and several would-be wranglers on a chase through West Hollywood.

6:35 PM A missing Long Beach jet skier was found alive after spending the night in the water. The U.S. Coast Guard located him offshore the next morning and rescued him after an extensive overnight search.

6:50 PM California continues battling a surge in cable and wire thefts, with Los Angeles leading the nation. Tim looks at the impact on customers, why telecom companies including AT&T, Spectrum and Verizon are affected, and whether stealing copper is really worth the risk.

Selling Sunset? Rumors Buss is Bussing Out of Her Lakers Ownership Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.17) Newlywed Mark Thompson is in the house and spilling the details on his wedding last week at the Beverly Hills Courthouse — so romantic! He joked the celebrant was so great he’s already planning to use her for his next wedding, and he fully expected the whole thing to feel like signing paperwork at a drive-thru window. (And no, the blushing groom did not take the bride’s last name.)

The mood turns more serious as Timmy touches on the tragic news of Hayden Panettiere’s shocking passing at just 36 — a former child actress who endured a lot in Hollywood, had given up parental rights to her only child years earlier, and was found unresponsive in a South Carolina apartment from an apparent drug-related cardiac arrest.

On the sports front, Jeanie Buss’s camp is denying rumors that the family is selling their Lakers stake to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger, leaving everyone wondering if all this ownership drama might finally help the once-golden franchise shine again. And for the lighter closer: Ever drop your phone in the toilet? Mark’s come close, Timmy just had to buy a new one, and there’s a new gadget in town — the UAG Dryout Pouch — that claims to rescue wet phones without the old bag-of-rice method.

Timmy: The Cat That Sits Outside Your Door When You Take a Dump Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (8.17) Mark’s already living the newlywed dream — his favorite part so far is that the new Mrs. Thompson has already left town for four days. Speaking of solo living, Tim shared that Arsenio Hall’s top perk of having the house to himself is the freedom to drop an open-door deuce.

In Big Bear eagle news, Jackie’s widower Shadow may already be moving on with a young new companion named KD1, while a memorial for Jackie is still in the works. A recent poll published by the LA Times that showed Mayor Karen Bass crushing Nithya Raman turned out to be completely fake, so the guys fired up a round of “Radio Misfits.”

Timmy made the trek to a Sunday costume birthday party in San Diego for Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith, a longtime friend through his dad’s old Don MacBeth Memorial Jockey Fund. And Mark paid tribute to the late LA comic Brody Stevens, who will be honored tomorrow night at the Comedy Store during the nonprofit event Comedy Gives Back.

So Meryl Streep, What Is the Hardest Thing About Shooting in Milan? Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.17) A longtime Burbank listener scored big with Chargers vs. 49ers tickets plus a $100 Graze Craze gift card, while the Timmy noted the wild coincidence that Mark Thompson’s wedding fell on the one-year anniversary of Foosh’s near-death car crash.

Mark shared a pre-marriage story about bolting from a Virgin Islands hotspot his then-fiancée hated and, in the process, missing a chance to meet Simon Cowell — plus a strong warning to stay away from Orange County beaches right now, especially Seal Beach, which is overrun with invasive stingrays.

Timmy played Bellio’s Emmy-worthy sales video that she spent the whole weekend making (thank you, AI!), even though the sales team wasn’t feeling it — you can still check it out on the ConwayShow Instagram.

On the darker side, a car slammed full-speed into the back of a truck on the 5 in Sylmar in what looked like a possible suicide attempt, and a high-speed pursuit ended near the Cahuenga Pass with a DUI driver and a second person arrested.

The hour wrapped with the growing travel trend of visiting places just because a movie was filmed there, including Meryl Streep weighing in on the hardest part of shooting in Milan.

Ladies Worldwide Are Heartbroken — Mark Thompson is Officially Off the Market Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.17) Mark Thompson is officially off the market after a low-key wedding to Courtney, just the two of them after years of “road-testing” the relationship and a pre-wedding trip to England and her ancestral Croatia. He also shared close calls with phones and toilets, while Timmy bought a new phone and discovered the UAG Dryout Pouch that actually pulls moisture out better than the old bag of rice.

Newlywed life is already treating Mark well (his favorite perk so far is that the new Mrs. Thompson left for four days to visit her sister), Arsenio Hall’s top solo-home privilege is the open-door poop, and in Big Bear, Jackie’s widower Shadow may already be moving on with a young eagle named KD1 as a memorial for Jackie is still being planned.

The hour wrapped with a lucky Burbank listener winning Chargers vs. 49ers tickets plus a $100 Graze Craze gift card, plus the wild coincidence that Mark’s wedding landed on the exact one-year anniversary of Foosh’s near-death car crash.
