    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Dolly Parton Dead at 80: Flags Come Down Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (8.25) Dolly Parton died Tuesday in Nashville at 80, and by 6 p.m. the American flag was coming down nationwide for a week. Twenty-five No. 1 country hits. Nobody ever did it like her.

6:05 — Her reps confirmed to PEOPLE that Parton died Tuesday after a brief battle with cancer; the type was not disclosed. President Trump ordered the American flag lowered across the country for one week, beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

6:20 — The numbers behind the Queen of Country: 25 No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart — a female record, per Guinness — plus 55 top 10s and 113 total entries on that chart. Then the crossovers: "9 to 5" and "Islands in the Stream" with Kenny Rogers.

6:35 — A brutally poor childhood she never once complained about, and the song that proves what she did with it. "Me and Little Andy," 1977: Dolly wrote it and sang it in a child's voice as Sandy, a girl "not more than six or seven" who knocks on a stranger's door in a storm holding her puppy. It was the B-side of "Here You Come Again." It still wrecks people.

6:50 — She lived by a motto: the more you give, the more blessings come back. Why this one is hitting people so much harder than they expected.

7:35 — The Empire State Building went pink from 9:25 to 10:25, timed to "9 to 5." The DJ at Arthur Ashe put on "Jolene" during a changeover. They never did.

7:50- The last four days. She went into Vanderbilt early Friday morning. Hours later, PEOPLE published an interview where she admitted she'd let her own health slide while she was taking care of Carl and insisted she was still healing and still working. Plus: What Would Dolly Do, Sabrina Carpenter on her hero, and the Vegas run that never happened. #DollyParton

Dolly Parton; We Lost a Legend Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (8.25) She wrote it in a little girl's voice. Sandy knocks on a stranger's door in a storm holding her puppy, asking for a bed. Dolly Parton died Tuesday at 80, and this is the song people are playing.

9:05 — "Me and Little Andy," 1977. Dolly wrote it and sang Sandy's lines in a child's voice — a girl "not more than six or seven," out in the cold with a dog named Little Andy, asking if there's an extra bed. It was the B-side of "Here You Come Again" and it still wrecks a room. The childhood behind it, and why she never once complained about it.

9:20 — What she built out of that: 25 No. 1 hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, the most ever by a woman, plus 55 top 10s and 113 charted songs — the last one a duet with Sabrina Carpenter at 79.

9:35 — Reps confirmed to PEOPLE she died Tuesday in Nashville at 80 after a brief battle with cancer. President Trump ordered the flag lowered nationwide for a week.

9:50 — The more you give, the more blessings come back. She meant it, and the reaction is proving it.

6:05 — The hottest stretch of the year so far: near 100 in downtown LA, 110-plus in the valleys, holding through the weekend. Peak grid demand runs 4 to 9 p.m., so pre-cool the house and hold the dryer and dishwasher until after. Also, 49ers owner Jed York's weekend arrest in Ohio.

Malibu PCH Speed Cameras: When Tickets Start Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (8.24) Malibu's ten new speed cameras start issuing warnings in late September and real citations in late November — 11 mph over is all it takes. Plus two street takeovers in two hours, and a robot that ran a 9.32 hundred.

8:05 — Sunday night, a crowd of about 100 gathered for a street takeover on Whittier Boulevard in Boyle Heights while burglars cut into Lorena Pharmacy with a saw and walked out with baskets of merchandise. Fifteen minutes later and less than two miles away, masked suspects walked two cash registers out of a Jack in the Box in East LA. No arrests. Also: Conway's case for fries as a taco heat-warmer, and the Conway Show sandal line Angel still refuses to greenlight.

8:20 — Halloween season is close enough to smell, and the LA Haunted Hayride is the ex-Clear Channel executive success story nobody talks about. Melissa Carbone walked into Shark Tank's fifth season in 2013 and walked out with the biggest investment in the show's history to that point — Mark Cuban, $2 million for 20 percent. Plus a Chinese humanoid called Lightning that ran 100 meters in 9.32 seconds.

8:35 — Ten automated cameras on Malibu's 21-mile stretch of PCH, using lidar to flag anyone doing at least 11 over. Warnings start in late September, citations in late November — civil penalties, no license points, no insurance hit. More than 60 people have been killed on that stretch since 2010. Sorry, Ashley Mackie.

8:50 — Conway responds to YouTuber Nick Shirley's videos claiming widespread fraud against California welfare and health programs — what he's actually shown, what the state says, and where the number came from.
