"I WAS KIDNAPPED" Nov 06, 2022

A caller tells me the story of how he was kidnapped for ransom at the age of two in Iraq.
Afterwards I speak with a tattoo artist living in Tokyo who felt inspired to call me after an acid trip, then I talk to a person IN REAL LIFE in Nashville about how they overcame addiction and are starting their first day of work at the Hard Rock Cafe.

BEING A GECKO IN NYC Oct 09, 2022

I recorded this episode in Washington Square Park in NYC and got some really great interviews with real life people. This is probably my favorite street interview session I’ve done so far, everyone came willing to share very deep things about their lives.

These people include a guy who sent a video of him and his girlfriend making love to her ex, a woman who broke up with her fiancé and discovered the meaning of love, a street performer who describes how his life changed after going to jail, a musical theater student reflecting on being bullied in middle school, a woman who just moved to New York alone, and many more.
