    #136: Seek truth not warm fuzzy's Apr 18, 2023
    Show notes

Most people get stuck in their personal and even professional life due to being comfortable and not looking for the truth. We need truth-tellers in our life but you have to be able to distinguish who these people are. Do they have the success that you want to have?

Do they have the right character (I personally don't take guidance from people who I don't trust or who cause me to question their integrity)?

I also don't just lean on the fact that they have a ton of experience..what if they have a ton of experience but no success?

#134: What Legoland, Disney, and the Final 4 can teach athletes about NIL Apr 04, 2023
    Show notes

On our kid's spring break, we took the family down to Carlsbad, Ca for some warm weather, family time, and trips to Legoland, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. During our time at these theme parks, I started to notice some of the advertisements. Well, this gave me a chance to drop some knowledge on our 14-year-old athlete.

I think it's good to understand the value of influence at a young age.
