Now that institutional lenders are becoming more conservative, private money is a great option for those looking to raise capital. There are a lot of options available out there and it’s important to know which type is right for you and your project. In this minisode, Liz shares tips on accessing private money, negotiating terms to your advantage, and setting up an exit strategy in order to pay the lender and avoid cutting into your cash flow. She also talked about equity as another option for private financing and how you can find partners within your own circle by being open about what is that you do. Molly Fletcher made a name for herself as one of the first female sports agents. Scaling a business comes with growing pains, but there are a lot of ways to mitigate these challenges, especially with the right team and processes in place. In this minisode, Liz and Andresa list burnout, lack of funds, and team building mistakes as considerations when it comes to scaling. Real estate knowledge is not enough. We have to build a strong foundation for the business by being strategic in hiring and knowing what’s working and what’s not in different areas of the business. But how do you find balance and make sure you still have time for things that really matter? In this episode, Andresa and special guest host Mandy McAllister are joined by Sharon Tseung who has achieved financial freedom through side hustles and investing in real estate. Sharon talks about generating cash flow and protecting her portfolio through multiple streams of income, building her brand on social media, and growing her business through outsourcing. Sharon Tseung is a 6-figure entrepreneur and investor who teaches people how to make passive income towards financial freedom through her blog, YouTube channel, TikTok, and Instagram. She has been featured on Business Insider, Entrepreneur, Yahoo Finance, Bustle, Fast Company, and other notable websites.
