243: How can you manifest or be spiritual if you have aphantasia? Mar 10, 2024
    Show notes

Have you ever heard of the term aphantasia? Aphantasia is a relatively unstudied phenomenon that involves not being able to visualize images in your mind. Reportedly about 3% of the population have this condition, and I'm one of them.
I didn't realize til my late 30s that this was even a thing; I was shocked to find out that most people had the ability to go around doing what essentially sounded like hallucination to me. (I learned about it, as many people did at the time, from this article.) As I read more about how most people can easily visualize or play movies or images in their mind, I grew jealous, especially as I got more into spirituality and manifestation. A huge component of manifestation, meditation and other spiritual practices is often the ability to visualize your desires, or other images, in your mind's eye. I've also been told many times by random people that I'm psychic, but how can somebody be psychic if they can't see, you know, psychic images in their mind's eye?
Over time, I've figured out my own ways to tune into spiritual practices that work for me, even though I can't visualize. And that's what I'm sharing about today! Even if you don't have aphantasia, tune in, because these tactics can help everybody deepen their spiritual practices.

242: Why failures are just a part of your checklist on the way to your goal Mar 03, 2024
    Show notes

Hey Soothers! Today I share a life and biz update, especially around the upcoming revamped Sunday Soother membership! I'm hosting a free 3 weeks within the Sunday Soother Membership, with 6 free new classes to attend. Sign up for that here.
But also in this podcast, I share examples of how failures aren't failures, they are literally part of the process on the way to the eventual achievement of your goal. I share a few examples from my own life — from quitting drinking, to biz examples — and hopefully inspire you to think about your perceived failures simply as inevitable parts of your path.

241: How are you already the thing you're desiring to become? Feb 11, 2024
    Show notes

I know a lot of you are motivated, you desire to work and live more into your purpose, and you also may struggle with impostor syndrome or an inner critic. You may feel far away from what you would like to become or be. So today I talk about the importance of consciously finding evidence every day about how you are ALREADY the thing or person you are desiring to be, right now, right in front of you, and I share a couple of stories to ground this concept.

240: What your home is trying to tell you about your self-worth Jan 30, 2024
    Show notes

UPDATE! This ep accidentally published early, but it works to your benefit - The Intentional Home is on earlybird for $400 until Friday, Feb 2nd, so dive on in!
Hey Soothers! Today, in continuing promotion of my Intentional Home course, which closes February 11th, I have a few fun Feng Shui stories that, at their heart, are about self-worth and what we think we deserve or are capable of. For many HSPs and empaths, I see blocks in self-worth and receiving, and also asking for help, or thinking we're even deserving of help. Tune in to hear three stories about situations in homes that showed somebody was really blocked in deservingness, and my tips for overcoming it.

Ready to go even deeper in Feng Shui and the messages your home has for you? My course, The Intentional Home, is open for enrollment until February 11th. This is my course that teaches you the tenets of home magic, energy work and Feng Shui, but simplified, made super practical, and accessible to anybody. After taking this course, you'll have a straightforward checklist and tools and tactics to create a nourishing, magical space that reflects what you want to create in your life!

    238: A Tarot reading for the energies of 2024 Jan 14, 2024
    Show notes

Happy new year, Soothers! For this week's podcast, I am letting you listen into one of my regular Tarot readings in the Sunday Soother Membership. I asked Tarot a few things: What are the energies of 2024, and how can we best navigate these energies to our benefit? The answers I got were very clear, and I'd love to let you listen in so you can get a sense of what 2024 might have in store for us all. There's a bit of a meditation at the start, then some journaling at the end. Enjoy this Tarot lesson, and if you're into it, sign up for the membership! On January 25th inside the membership (Tier 3) I'll be teaching a workshop on how to use Tarot and the feng shui bagua map for goal-setting for the year ahead.

    237: Changing energetically first Dec 17, 2023
    Show notes

Hey Soothers! In today's podcast, I give guidance on a different way you can start to think about change and growth. Many of us cannot change current circumstances for whatever reason; say you want a new job or to quit and take a break, but you have to provide for a family; or maybe you really want to move to Europe, but you have to finish your degree stateside for a year. Not all hope is lost! If we can't change material or physical circumstances quite yet, we can still definitely begin to change *energetically.* This process is making internal and energetic shifts first towards your desired goal, and as you make those internal shifts, the external circumstances will eventually catch up. I share specific tactics for how to do this in today's episode.
This podcast is in celebration and promotion of my and Missy's brand-new, never-been-done before, group coaching program, The Energy Alchemy Mini-Mind. It's a 4-month group coaching program for HSP and empath leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who are tired of playing timid good girl on the sideline and are ready to connect fully with their purpose and boldly step into and share their mission, their gifts, and their light with the world.
In the mini-mind (limited to 10 participants), every month we'll go over a different energy block that's related to your purpose, and lead you through exercises on energy clearing, EFT tapping, and feng shui. Think of me and Missy like your energy detectives/energy cleaners — we'll come take a look at your energy field, uncover what's blocking you from your purpose, and help clear your path forward.
Details all about the mini-mind here; we're on earlybird of $3000 (payment plans available) until Dec. 23, when it goes up to $4000. We start in January.

236: How energy work can connect you to your life purpose with Missy Toy Ozeas Dec 10, 2023
    Show notes

Do we all have a purpose? How do we find it? And what does energy have to do with connecting to our life purpose?
That's what one of my favorite people in the world, Missy Toy Ozeas, energy healer and intuitive, and I talk about today. Missy and I both stepped into our purpose-driven spiritual careers at roughly the same time, and today we talk about how other HSPs and empaths can discover their own purpose; we share our backstories about the fear and challenges we went through (and still go through!) in accessing and living our purpose; and we dissect how energy work can help you more clearly connect with your purpose.
This podcast is in celebration and promotion of my and Missy's brand-new, never-been-done before, group coaching program, The Energy Alchemy Mini-Mind. 235: So, uh, what even IS energy and why does it matter for HSPs and empaths? Dec 03, 2023
    Show notes

Hey Soothers! Even though I'm an energy worker (Reiki, Feng Shui, EFT) and energy is one of the most important tools I use on myself and my clients, I don't think I've ever actually EXPLAINED energy in a podcast episode before. So tune in for understanding more about energy:

    • What energy actually is, and how we can start to think of it like dust
    • How energy can positively and negatively affect us
    • How you pick up energy that doesn't serve you
    • Why empaths and HSPs in particular need to know about and work with energy
    • How to start energy hygiene
    • My favorite energy tools

Ready to learn more about energy and work with it? Come to No Drain December, Monday, Dec. 4th, 7pmET (lifetime replay provided), $27. We'll teach you energy tools used by mystics for centuries that are equally useful in today's modern world, as well as 20 tips and tricks to use right away to create better energy in your home.
Sign up for the Sunday Soother Membership, $44, to attend my year ahead intentional goal-setting workshop, Dec. 10, 12pmET (replay provided).

234: How trees can help you understand yourself if you struggle with codependency Nov 19, 2023
    Show notes

Hey Soothers! Today, I turn to some of my greatest teachers: Trees. The ways trees interact with each other has a lot to show us about how we are relationally with others, and where we might want to shift into patterns that better support us. I explain the behaviors of codependency, hyper-independence, and, ultimately, healthy interdependence, and share a metaphor about the ways tree behave that may help you better understand this behavior in yourself.
Working on healing codependency and hyper-independence is a huge aspect of Soothe, where we meet in small groups, become vulnerable with other people, and tend compassionately to ourselves as we learn to ask for help and rely on other people. If you heard yourself in this episode, Soothe will be so helpful to you.
Read about Soothe, the year-long circle and group mentorship for highly sensitive women, and book a discovery call: https://www.catherinedandrews.com/soothe
If you book your discovery call by Nov. 30, you'll get a bonus worth $2500: Access to 4 of my online courses, and 9 months access to my Sunday Soother Membership, too!
Enrollment for Soothe ends mid-December and I cap the program at 15 women.
