    Episode 49 – Experiments roundtable Jul 12, 2017
    Show notes

Danny and I wanted to talk about N=1 experiments, because we are both big believers that everyone should take steps to find what works best for them. So we invited some previous guests: Chris Irvin, Robert Sikes, and Carlos Dones to have a roundtable discussion about their personal N=1 experiments, their opinions on what makes a good experiment, and a whole bunch more.

There’s a LOT of great information in this episode, so you’ll probably want to listen a few times.

He then was drafted into the NFL, where he spent over a decade as an all-pro center. After getting out of the NFL, he found the keto lifestyle, and he wants to help other retired players make the adjustment to “regular life.”

Danny and I REALLY enjoyed talking to Nick, and I know you’re going to like listening to him.

Rachel Gregory graduated from the University of Miami and then James Madison University, with a Master’s Degree in Human Performance and Nutrition. For her thesis, she was asked to find something that would interest her. So she decided to look at the impact of the ketogenic diet on crossfit athletes. Her study has been getting a lot of attention, because the results went agains the common thought about how beneficial keto could be for performance athletes.

So Danny and I asked her to come on the show and talk about the study. And some other things.

    Episode 46 – Dealing with haters Jun 21, 2017
    Show notes

Anytime you do something, there is the possibility that you’ll attract those unseemly folks who are interested in your downfall. The haters are an unfortunate part of life, especially for folks who have gotten healthy, fit, and started to flourish in their sports or activities…or folks who produce online content. Don’t let the haters get you down. Danny and I talk about the best ways we know how to deal with haters. Also…we start what will be a much longer conversation about something that has been of interest to me since I was a kid.

Here’s a hint, though: She doesn’t really have a plan. She has knowledge and education, but she uses her intuition to guide her.

    Episode 42 – Brad Kearns is a primal athlete May 17, 2017
    Show notes

Brad Kearns has been a fitness author and coach for over two decades. During his nine-year career as an elite-level triathlete, he was one of the world’s top-ranked professionals, with 30 wins on the pro circuit. That includes a remarkable streak of seven victories in a row, a world duathlon series championship, and two national triathlon championships. At one point, he was ranked as high as #3 in the world (1991).

So you can imagine how stoked Danny and I were to get a chance to talk to Brad about his journey and how he came to Primal/Keto nutrition. Brad understands the necessity of a success mindset, so he spends a lot of time reiterating and exploring that. Which was really great, because Danny and I both got to take notes.

You can find out more about Brad here: (http://www.primalblueprintpublishing.com/authors/brad-kearns/) or here (http://www.bradkearns.com/).
