She explains how trauma shows up in many different ways. We don't have to suffer through a horrific experience in order to define it as a traumatic experience. She also talks about how trauma affects our body physically, not only emotionally. Meaning trauma can show up as heart disease years later. Vicki also explains how signs can show up years after experiencing a traumatic experience.
