    The CEO Sage

You’re vitally important and completely invisible. You’re performing in what you once dreamed. The thing you built to free you has become the thing you’re trapped inside.

You’ve built something real. A business that works. A reputation that precedes you. By every measure, you’re succeeding.
And something is wrong that you can’t quite name.

You’ve tried the frameworks. You’ve bought the courses. You’ve followed the gurus. And on some level you know that none of it is going to give you what you’re actually looking for, because what you’re actually looking for is yourself.

This is The CEO Sage—a podcast for the woman who is ready to stop looking outside herself for the answer.

Kris Plachy doesn’t offer you recipes or tactics or the “real way” to scale your business. She offers you something more rare: permission to listen to what you already know. In intimate, unflinching conversations, she names the truths you’ve been waiting to hear aloud. That your wisdom matters more than the strategy. That your self-trust is the asset worth protecting. That what feels like failure might actually be an invitation to something better.

If you’ve achieved the success everyone told you to want and discovered it wasn’t what you were looking for, this is for you. If you know something needs to change but can’t see the path, this is for you. If you’re ready to stop performing and start revealing—to yourself first, then to the world—this is for you.

The CEO Sage. Where the work of becoming begins with the work of remembering who you already are.

You Are Just One Person Away from Magic in Your Business | Ep #71 Jun 22, 2020
    Show notes

When you have one employee who's bringing your company's performance down, the impact on the team is very noticeable. Here's why that one person is standing between you and total magic.

What you'll learn from this episode:

    1. Once you remove the negative energy from your business and brain you create all kinds of space for something new.
    2. If that person hasn't grown with the business, they're almost like a memory of who you were when you started, and that's not who you are today. It keeps you stuck energetically.
    3. When you let that person go and create room in your business, then you can get intentional about what you want to create and the results you want to achieve.
    4. You have to learn the processes to follow, the words to say, the conversations to have in order to foster the change necessary to get you where you need to be.

How to Know What You Don't Know as a Leader | Ep #70 Jun 15, 2020
    Show notes

The only way to learn things you don't know, and to gain an understanding of them, is to be willing to tolerate and sit with discomfort. It doesn't mean you have to agree. It means you have the opportunity to listen, to stretch and to grow.

What you'll find in this episode:

    1. Why it's so important to get out of the echo chamber.
    2. Pay attention to how you feel. If someone introduces you to something and you feel repulsed, indignant, angry, resentful – pay attention.
    3. Find new teachers, thought leaders and discussion groups.

Is a High-Performing Team Built from a System or Is It Just Luck? | Ep #68 Jun 01, 2020
    Show notes

High-performing leaders with high-performing teams are able to replicate that over and over again. That's not luck; that's a system, and here are the elements of that system for building high-performing teams.

What you'll find in this episode:

    1. As a leader, you have to have your own expectations of high performance.
    2. You have to be self-aware. You have to understand who you are and how you affect the team.
    3. Recognize that there is a process to attracting great talent. You must be clear with what you expect of people who work for you. Additionally, there's the accountability piece – you have to take ownership.
    4. Think about what you do and why you hire the people that you hire. You have to be building a team for where you're going and not for where you've been.
    5. A high-performing team attracts high-performing players. This requires a leader who is willing to audit her team and trim it when necessary.
