The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS A black male in Ireland asked, what is the 4th of July to black people whose churches are being burned? This summer's "fireworks" have been confined to black houses of worship, as more than a half dozen churches have been burned; none have been ruled acts of Racism (hate crimes), but several have been deemed acts of arson. The blazes have generated much less attention than the removal of "Dukes of Hazzard" - a television show canceled 30 years ago - and all things resembling the Confederate flag. Whites have decreed Bree Newsome their official "black friend" of the month. Last week, Newsome and her "White ally" removed the Confederate flag from the South Carolina state Capitol. She was quickly shackled and jailed, the flag was immediately replaced, and Riley Curry was no longer Whites' favorite black person. Rhodes College professor Zandria Robinson did not receive the same reverence for her critique of Whitefolks. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 2nd study session on Stephen Kantrowitz's, Ben Tillman And The Reconstruction of White Supremacy. Benjamin "Pitchfork" Tillman is a South Carolina hero. He's a former governor, US senator, founder of Clemson University and a notorious antiblack terrorist. He bragged about participating in the murder and torture of black citizens and influenced White Supremacist laws across North America. The June 17th Terrorist assault on Mother Emanuel A.M.E. has placed international attention on South Carolina. Mitt Romney and current S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley publicly approve of removing the Confederate flag - or at least discussing it's relocation. Tillman has shrines throughout the state - including the state capitol, Clemson University and Winthrop University. Last week's session described terroristic context of black enslavement that created Ben Tillman. Kantrowitz emphasizes that plantations required constant, flagrant brutality. White men and women like Ben Tillman expected eternal domination over black people and dedicated their total life force to White Power. Poet Danny Queen visits The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Queen is a prolific writer and entrepreneur. He began developing and promoting his literary skills as child and never ignored the power of words. Mr. Queen eventually hosted his own talk show to provide constructive information to black people. He was introduced to the work of Mr. Neely Fuller, Jr. and Dr. Frances Cress Welsing and interviewed them both. Mr. Queen began recording lectures and talks from these two respected authors. He's uploaded some of his older footage to YouTube. We're excited to hear more about what motivated him to begin archiving this material and what patterns he has observed in their work and how audiences respond to their material. We're curious to hear his thoughts on why Mr. Fuller and Dr. Welsing don't enjoy greater notoriety. Dr. Marva Robinson returns to The Context of White Supremacy. She's the president of the St. Louis Association of Black Psychologists and has been counseling black Ferguson residents since the police killing of Michael Brown Jr. When she visited us in December, she explained that an important aspect of the healing involved confronting the reality of Racism/White Power. We look forward to hearing an update on the mental health of black St. Louis residents. We're curious to see how the lack of indictments and subsequent shootings of Black people have impacted the Ferguson area. Some of our listeners began administering healing circles after Dr. Robinson's previous visit. Perhaps they can give us a word as well. We'll also hear from former South Carolina NAACP president Melvin Poole. We'll discuss the Charleston, SC shooting and coordinated White response. President Barack Obama offered a dramatic, political eulogy for State Senator Rev. Clementa Pinckney. Racists have skillfully steered attention to an indictment of the Confederate flag and Confederate paraphernalia. The abuse of black people is the essence of global White identity. Lost in the shuffle, black churches in North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia were damaged or destroyed by fire. The fires in North Carolina and Georgia have already been ruled arson. This marks at least 5 separate assaults on Black churches in the 10 days since Dylann Storm Roof's ambush of Mother Emanuel A.M.E. The "Gay Rights" sector of White Supremacy continues it's blitzkrieg. And Ben Affleck provided another wonderful illustration of why we should commit to not helping White people. Chris Osterndorf visits The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Osterndorf is a graduate of DePaul University's Digital Cinema program. He is a contributing writer for DailyDot and HeavyMedia and typically focuses on entertainment and pop culture. Gus first became aware of Osterndorf as a result of his 2014 article, The history of White people hating LeBron James. Osterndorf was straightforward in dissecting how James' confidence and #BlackSelfRespect galls whitefolks. This piece was approximately a month before the shooting death of Michael Brown Jr. Subsequently, Osterndorf - and many other Whites - devoted increasing ink to police terrorism and race. Last month he authored a compelling report challenging the concept of "good" cops; he declares, "You can't have a good cop in a bad police culture." The programs are significantly earlier than our regular program time to motivate participation from non-white listeners beyond the United States as well as state side listeners who are unable to join in our usual evening broadcast. The White Terrorism in South Carolina continues to dominate national news, inspiring growing disputes over the use of the term Terrorism. Significantly, no one has characterized this tragedy as a ritualistic slaughter. Dylann Storm Roof's carnage was carried out days before the summer solstice and Juneteenth. We hope to hear international listeners thoughts about this event and how black people plan on dealing with this subject on the job. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS It's sobering to remember the most troubling racial news of the week was initially Rachel Dolezal. The mischief of the former Spokane, Washington NAACP president were instantly submerged by the White evil of Charleston, South Carolina. Dylann Storm Roof invaded the Emanual A.M.E. Church with a White Terrorist agenda. He methodically murdered 9 black people - including State Senator Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney. Joseph L. Jones among others assert this was a political assassination; Mr. Pinckney had a distinguished record of confronting Racism, including public opposition to the police killing of Walter Scott earlier this year. Professor Anthea Gibson and host of others have poignantly noted that Roof has not been branded a "thug" or a "terrorist" - which seems reflexive when the perpetrator has melanin. Gus' BFF Amy Goodman described the suspected killer as "having apparent sympathies to White Supremacy."
