The C.O.W.S. THE HALF HAS NEVER BEEN TOLD Part I Dec 11, 2015
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the premier study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, Cornell University historian and a White Man, authored this text to concentrate enslavement and mutilation of black bodies as the foundation and central economic enterprise of America. The book chapters are labeled after body parts to stress how the White slave system represented complete war on black bodies. The Economist offered a scathing rebuke of this book, charged that "Mr Baptist has not written an objective history of slavery. Almost all the blacks in his book are victims, almost all the whites villains." They ultimately, apologized and withdrew their evaluation. The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 12/05/15 Dec 05, 2015
    Show notes

Compensatory Call InThe Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The most recent mass shooting - this time in San Bernadino, California - gave Whites another moment to masquerade as pained about gun violence. The shooting minimized attention on gun-toting Race Soldier Jason Van Dyke - who was released from a Chicago jail after expeditiously posting $150,000 bond. Van Dyke is charged with first degree murder for the 2014 shooting of Laquan McDonald. While many comtested the definition of terrorism and what type of violence should be branded as such, this week marked the 60th anniversary of Rosa Parks' counter-terrorist offensive on a Montgomery, Alabama bus. Unfortunately, Parks' Alabama has remained staunchly devoted to terrorizing black citizens, evidenced by the Alabama Justice Project's charge that enforcement officials and prosecutors conspired to plant drugs on and incarcerate innocent black citizens for decades. And echoing much of Rosa Parks' work against the sexual violation of black females, the Daniel Holtzclaw trial wrapped it's 5th week; Holtzclaw is facing 36 counts of sexual tyranny against 13 black females. Closing arguments will be delivered Monday, December 7th. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. BETWEEN THE WORLD AND ME Part II Dec 04, 2015
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 2nd installment on Ta-Nehisi Coates esteemed bestseller, Between The World And Me. This 2015 text received the National Book Award for nonfiction and made President Obama's summer reading list. On top of the cacophony of accolades, Coates seized a 2015 MacArthur Genius Award and continues to rouse commentary for his 2014 analysis of reparations. Coates' work was published early in response to Dylann Roof's Terrorist assault in Charleston, South Carolina. Our first session revealed Coates comprehensive grasp of the history of White Supremacy. He shares intimate details on his black childhood and formative years at Howard University. Coates offers this text as a letter to his fifteen-year-old son. Nothing about the first portion of this text seems designed for black adolescent readers. In fact, the book begins with Coates lamenting a White woman's inability to relate to black suffering. We'll be sure to include the works of Richard Wright and Minister Malcolm X. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The gunmen are Suspected White Supremacists, and CBS reports that charges are pending against four men. A local NAACP representative alleges that the Minneapolis Police Department may be directly or indirectly involved in this act of domestic terrorism. Concurrently, a Suspected Race Soldier was charged with first degree murder in the 2014 shooting death of Laquan McDonald. Television networks were again broadcast looped footage of a black teen being gunned down in the street. The Daniel Holtzclaw trial entered the fourth week, and it still seems that the black female victims are the presumed violators. And White House security thwarted another intruder who hopped the fence at the Obama's residence in Washington, D.C. Unlike Miriam I. Carey, the trespasser was not shot. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. Chicago in Context featuring Pam (Trojan Horse) Nov 26, 2015
    Show notes

Pam (http://RacismWS.com/) returns to The Context of White Supremacy. She manages the Racism Is White Supremacy blog and established Trojan Horse Press. She's co-authored a range of constructive counter-racist literature to help black people grasp the total war Whites are conducting against us: The Beauty Con Game, The Interracial Con Game, Black Love Is A Revolutionary Act. Since Pam is a Chicago, Illinois native, we thought she could boost our comprehension of the legacy strategic terrorism against black Chicagoans. The recent attention on the police slayings of Rekia Boyd and Laquan McDonald, the Homan Square torture facility and Spike Lee's documentary Chiraq, often fail to put these incidents within a historical context of 100 years of White Terror Domination in the Windy City. We'll review the work of Isabel Wilkerson, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Beryl Satter, Leanita McClain and President Barack Obama. After being assaulted with rocks and bricks while peacefully protesting in 1966, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. confessed, "I have been in many demonstrations all across the South, but I can say that I have never seen even in Mississippi and Alabama mobs as hostile and as hate filled as I've seen here in Chicago." #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. w/ Tariq Nasheed: The Walking Dead And White Supremacy Nov 24, 2015
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy will examine one of the most popular representations of White Supremacy entertainment, The Walking Dead. Tariq Nasheed returns to investigate this grisly, racist series. Mr. Nasheed is the creator of the tremmendously successful Hidden Colors documentary series. His films have aided legions of non-white people around the world gain a better understanding of Racism. We'll scrutinize the depiction of black characters in the wildly popular AMC franchise and why this series has attracted such a mammoth following. Even in an apocalyptic world overrun with zombies (niggers), a gun-toting White cop (Rick Grimes) is in charge. We'll review the portrayal of black female characters Michonne and Sasha, who are subservient to and abandoned by Whites. The show has employed a myriad of black characters during its six years on air, and even they have been forced to deny that The Walking Dead is Racist. We'll also examine the repugnant depictions of black male characters: T-Dog, Morgan, Gabriel, Tyrese, and Bob. The Whites in charge of the series seem to get special gratification in projecting the lamest representations of black masculinity. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. w/ H. Khalif Khalifah: The History Of Black Journalism Nov 23, 2015
    Show notes

    H. Khalif Khalifah returns to The Context of White Supremacy. With more than thirty-five years of service as an independent journalist, author, and publisher, Mr. Khalifah has invested his life into gathering and spreading life-saving information for black people. He founded UBUS Communications, published 15 books and manages the Nat Turner Trail Tour in Virginia. We're eager to discuss one the works he edited: A Gallery Of Black Journalists Who Advanced Their Race. Interestingly, the book was written by a White couple, Sidney and Reva Kobre. They outline more than 100 years of black males and females who understood the significance of the press, and confronted extraordinary odds to broadcast counter-racist information. We'll analyze extraordinary figures such as Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Frederick Douglass, Marcus Garvey, Elijah Muhammad, Daisy Bates and many others. We'll also examine the evolution of black media in the 21st century. Change doesn't always mean improvement. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The reported terrorist attacks in Paris, France continue to saturate media outlets and, predictably, have encouraged a less refined, more public manifestation of White Supremacist conduct. An increasing number of Whites are unsatisfied with President Obama's alleged handling of ISIS and the conflict in Syria. While many Race Soldiers clamor for a merciless, violent response, black United States' citizens have militarized police units march through their residence for misplacing a house key. Black scholars across the states continue to challenge the Racial Terrorism they're forced to tolerate while seeking knowledge. The Racist backlash has been immediate, widespread, and tacky. Speaking of terrorists, the third week of the Daniel Holztclaw trial concluded on Wednesday with more black female victims testifying to being petrified and violated by a predator with a badge and gun. The OKC Artists for Justice managed a peaceful protest loud enough to be heard in the court room. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://tiny.cc/ledjb CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. KATRINA: AFTER THE FLOOD Part XII Nov 20, 2015
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the twelfth and final study session on Gary Rivlin's Katrina: After The Flood. Mr. Rivlin is a White man and former New York Times journalist; he was lodged on a plantation while he investigated the cataclysmic engineering failure and negligence that destroyed New Orleans in August of 2005. His 2015 bestseller details a decade of asymmetrical "recovery." To make it plain, ten years of black New Orleanians being racially dislocated and deliberately deterred from resurrecting their lives. Rivlin reviews all areas of people activity: the institution of charter schools, the demolition of public housing, and the looting of funds designated for flood victims. Last week's installment documented the beginning of the end for Ray Nagin, as Whites initiated their case for criminal charges against him. Current White Mayor Mitch Landrieu deceptively declared that rebuilding New Orleans was about White and non-white citizens working in unison for the greater good. He covered his bases by rallying black citizens to defend him against accusations of a White man bogarting power in a majority black city. Former "recovery czar" Ed Blakely made it plain once he resigned his post and left Louisiana: "[Whites] can recapture the political apparatus and kind of put their foot back on black peopleâ??s throats.â?? We hope this text will offer a more complete understanding of Hurricane Katrina and it's aftermath as a meticulously planned campaign of genocide against black New Orleanians.
