The president's former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has dismissed calls to resign as mounting evidence suggests he may have lied about his knowledge of the police killing of a black teen. Chicago officials liberated yet another snuff flick of a black male being slaughtered by the Windy City's finest. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 6th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a Suspected Racist, constructed this book to locate the enslavement and mutilation of black bodies as fundamental to the construction and success of America. He provides evidence that the torture and forced labor of black people was not an inefficient industrial system, nor would it have come to a natural conclusion on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to emphasize how the White slave system represented complete war on black bodies. Last week's session highlighted that what White enslavers did to black people should be classified and articulated as torture. He meticulously details how White Brutes thought of newer and more sinsiter means of violating black people and breaking their will. Baptist also explained how the slave system is egineered to force black people to work against individual and collective self interest; every ounce of black labor and ingenuity is to benefits Whites. Last week's session concluded with the importance of slave songs and dance. Rachel Decoste visits The Context of White Supremacy. A software engineer, poet, motivational speaker, and political analyst, Ms. Decoste was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada and speaks French, English and Spanish. She's currently a student in George Washington University's Masters program. Ms. Decoste has a well earned record for speaking and writing candidly about Racism and global terrorism against black people. We're excited to get her views on the reception and coverage of the 2015 film sensation The Book Of Negroes. Ms. Decoste suggests that most of the excitement conveniently avoided and obscured the history of Canadian anti-black Racism. We'll also investigate how African-American counter-racist efforts inspire and motivate activism in Canada. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Many Victims of Racism spent the opening week of 2016 mourning the loss of distinguished physician and attempted counter-racist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. A memorial at Howard University in Washington, D.C. was held earlier today. Dr. Welsing characterized the gun as the great equalizer for Whites. Not surprisingly, President Obama's teary-eyed proclomation on executive orders designed to reduce gun violence was widely critized. Many Whites - and some non-whites - lampooned the president as unmanly and proceeded to buy even more firearms. No one spoke of disarming the White terrorists who've comandeered federal property in Oregon. Although no one has been indicted for the suspicious death of Sandra Bland, White officer Brian Encinia was charged with perjury for statements given regarding his arrest of her. He may be fired (transferred). And Dr. Welsing's theory that the promotion and seeming increase of sexual intercourse between White Women and black males may be encouraging increased violence by White Men was supported by Governor Paul LePage. He chided heroin pedlars who invade Maine with their contraband and impregnate White girls before absconding. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a Racist Suspect, authored this book to center the enslavement and mutilation of black bodies as essential to the construction and success of America. He contends that the torture and forced labor of black people was not an sloppy industrial system, nor would it have come to a natural conclusion on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to stress how the White slave system represented complete war on black bodies. Last week's session detailed the methodical evolution of White violence as a means to manage black people. Baptist details how Whites were encouraged to share information and techniques on better controlling niggers. The section also provided enormous evidence of the effectiveness of White Terrorism. Professor Jim Grimsley visits The Context of White Supremacy. Grimsley is a White man and an Admitted Racist. He's a Professor of Practice in the English Department at Emory University in Georgia. He's a prolific and award-winning writer. We'll deconstruct his 2015 publication, How I Shed My Skin: Understanding the Racist Lessons of a Southern Childhood. He describes his childhood in rural North Carolina during the 1960's. His White family and friends swapped nigger jokes, talked bad about black people while attending church, and incessantly emphasized the ignorance and vileness of niggras. Grimsley suspects that his father may have practiced direct acts of violence against black citizens. Ostensibly, his book examines his journey away from the White Supremacist identity that was expected of him. The Context of White Supremacy will recognize the life and work of author, general and child psychiatrist, and attempted counter-racist scientist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. For decades she hosted The Cress Welsing Institute, a monthly series on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. The presentations were free and open to the public; thousands of people heard her views there over the years. Poet Danny Queen invested a significant amount of time recording these talks and has amassed a priceless catalog of Dr. Welsing's teachings. She reported weeks ago that her sister was also dealing with health complications. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. 2015 closed with an abundance of bad tidings as grammy-winning recording artist Natalie Cole and basketball giant Meadowlark Lemmon passed away. As if black people needed more unpleasant news, prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty confirmed that no one would be charged for the 2014 killing of Tamir Rice; the grand jury concluded that the white officers acted reasonably in slaughtering a black twelve-year-old. Hours later, entertainment icon and philanthropist Bill Cosby was indicted for felony sexual misconduct in Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, Will Smith's latest box office smash Concussion highlights how the billion dollar NFL conglomerate minimizes and profits from the destruction of black bodies and minds. Smith portrays black scholar Dr. Bennett Omalu, who initiated concerns about brain damage caused by gridiron collisions. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 4th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 book, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a Suspected Racist, crafted this text to clarify that the enslavement and mutilation of black bodies is the foundation and central economic venture of America. He evidences that the shackling and forced labor of black people was not an inefficient industrial system, nor would it have come to a natural conclusion on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to stress how the White slave system represented total war on black bodies. Last week's session described an 1811 insurrection in the Louisiana territory. Hundreds of black people demonstrated maximum black self-respect and strategized about killing Whites and liberating themselves. Whites overwhelmed the freedom fighters, and Baptist emphasizes that this was yet another incident that galvanized Whites to refine and upgrade their domination over black people. Chapter three explained "right-handed power" as the ability to dictate and control what will happen in the future. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 2015 Counter-Racist Review. Over the past year we saw the transition of sportscaster Stuart Scott, journalist Dori Maynard, Civil Rights legend Julian Bond, and historian and scholar Dr. Ben. Obtaining an education on the plantation of White Supremacy proved especially onerous with black students being body slammed in South Carolina, while statues to worshipped White Supremacist Cecil Rhodes continue to be lorded over black scholars in South Africa. Even black educators were unsafe as a group of black faculty received years of prison time for a cheating scandal in Atlanta, Georgia. The world rushed with compassion and support for the White victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack and the subsequent massacre in Paris, France. Conversely, the black female victims of convicted sexual terrorist and former enforcement officer Daniel Holtzclaw were mostly disregarded and disbelieved. White journalists have demanded that we acknowledge the threat of muslim terrorists, but have remained comparatively quiet about the litany of attacks against black places of worship. The one attack on a church that did receive massive attention was Dylann Storm Roof's terrorist assault in Charleston, South Carolina. Roof murdered nine people and may have executed a political assassination taking the life of State Representative Rev. Clementa Pinckney. Unlike Tamir Rice, Walter Scott or Freddie Gray, Roof was fed and taken into custody unharmed.
