The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 9th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a possible Race Soldier, shaped this book to concentrate the enslavement and desecration of black bodies as central to the foundation and triumph of the United States. He provides confirmation that the torture and forced labor of black people was not an inefficient industrial system, nor would it have ended naturally on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to accent how the White slave system represented total war on black bodies. Last week's installment described in blistering detail the routine rape of enslaved black people. Baptist suggested that black females utilized their sexuality to negotiate a mildly better circumstances for themselves; this could be an act of Racism by the author. Baptist detailed Andrew Jackson's assault on the 19th century "banksters" and how his efforts were to produce a more equitable playing field for all White men. Chapter eight (Blood) provides comprehensive detail on how the enslaved black population was at the root of the United States banking and credit system. More credit meant more slaves. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The eastern United States needed the past seven days dig out from the Snowzilla blizzard - as if we needed extra whiteness. Nate Parker's biopic on freedom fighter Nat Turner lit up the 2015 Sundance Film Festival; Fox Searchlight doled out $17.5 million for the highly acclaimed production. Speaking of blacks who were killed, the trial in the 2014 shooting death of Akai Gurley began this week in New York City. Non-white (Asian) officer Peter Liang faces manslaughter charges for killing the unarmed black male in 2014; if convicted he could face up to 15 years behind bars. On the opposite side of the country, the White Terrorist confrontation in Oregon climaxed with multiple arrests and one fatality as enforcement officials killed Robert Finicum. Some of the armed White thugs remain entrenched on the federal property, despite pleas from their detained White comrades that they surrender. And the pacific northwest's own Macklemore released his ode to "anti-racism," "White Privilege II." The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 8th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a Racist Suspect, framed this book to concentrate the enslavement and mutilation of black bodies as pivatol to the foundation and success of the United States. He provides confirmation that the torture and forced labor of black people was not an inefficient industrial system, nor would it have ended naturally on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to emphasize how the White slave system represented complete war on black bodies. Last week's session described the counter-racist offensive by Virginia icon Nat Turner. Whites across the nation modified their surveillance and control of negroes in response the Virginia uprising. Since Turner used the Christian Bible to vindicate and mobilize his insurrection, Racists adjusted their religious code to prevent further anti-slavery crusades. Dorothy Bullitt visits The Context of White Supremacy. Bullitt is a Distinguished Practitioner and Senior Lecturer in the Evans School Of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington. Her imopeccable list of community service includes stints as assistant state attorney general, chair of Washington's Rhodes Scholar selection committee, and treasurer of the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. She's had numerous reports on housing and policy issues published in The Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Jerry Large recently interviewed Bullitt for a Times piece examining how her family's wealth was obtained by enslaving black people. "I knew there were slaves, but I got it in my head that they had to be nice slave owners, because my relatives were nice people," she explained. An all-time C.O.W.S. favorite, Pam has co-authored a catalog of constructive counter-racist publications, including: Black Love Is A Revolutionary Act and The Interracial Con Game. If "justice rolls down like water," we hope it's not from Flint, Michigan's water supply. The toxic water in the predominantly black city is attracting growing attention and calls for Suspected Racist Governor Rick Snyder to resign. Speaking of justice, Oklahoma City police officer and convicted sexual predator Daniel Holtzclaw was sentenced to 263 consecutive years in prison for multiple counts of rape and sexual terrorism of black females. His attorney has vowed to appeal. And echoing the suspicious deaths of Sandra Bland and Kimberly Randle-King, Gynnya McMillen, a 16-year-old black female, was reportedly found dead in a Kentucky juvenile detention center. Officials have released meager details. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on Edward Baptist's 2014 publication, The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery And The Making Of American Capitalism. Baptist, a Suspected Racist, authored this text to highlight the enslavement and mutilation of black bodies as fundamental to the foundation and success of America. He provides confirmation that the torture and forced labor of black people was not an inefficient industrial system, nor would it have ended naturally on its own. The book chapters are named after body parts to stress how the White slave system constituted total war on black bodies. Last week's session detailed how Whites codified religious practices to further support their system of torture and oppression. Baptist quotes a Kentucky enslaver who said, "The great God above has made you for the benefit of the Whiteman, who is your law maker and law giver." Importantly, the book also acknowledges black people who rebuked the religion of White Supremacy and saw the hypocrisy of Whites paying lip service to brotherhood and righteousness while they stole and tortured multitudes of black people. The C.O.W.S. w/ Kristen Green: White Supremacy in Prince Edward County Jan 20, 2016

Kristen Green visits The Context of White Supremacy. A journalist by trade, Ms. Green is a Virginia native who adapted her life to research the infamous five year school closure in Prince Edward County. Following the 1954 Brown v Board of Education decision, Racists in Southside Virginia dedicated themselves to White Supremacy in education. They colluded, secured funding, and eventually closed all public schools in the county from 1959 to 1964. They opened private academies for White children during this time, while leaving black children and educators to rot without education. Ms. Green's publication - Something Must Be Done About Prince Edward County - explores the details of this historic act of war and her family's involvement in the closing of the schools. Her White grandfather defended keeping black students away from white kids and served as a faculty member for the White Supremacy academy for years. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Karen Fleshman. A Diversity and Inclusion Strategist, Ms. Fleshman states that her mission "is to help individuals become more compassionate and empathetic with people of other races so we can work together to dismantle systemic racism." Ms. Fleshman peddles her expertise to companies who are concerned with the workplace "racial divides." She also writes regularly at Huffington Post. Fleshman recently authored "Dear Black Folks: A Love Letter from a White Woman." The letter says in part: "I hope that in 2016, more white people will sit down for a cup of coffee or meal with you, invite you into our homes and visit you in yours. I hope that white people will humbly ask for your feedback about what we could do better and that when we do, you are honest and don't hold back." She says this letter generated a heap of appreciative feedback from black people.
