The C.O.W.S. John Potash: Drugs As A Weapon Against Us Apr 10, 2016
    Show notes

John L. Potash returns to The Context of White Supremacy. An author of several books, Mr. Potash has worked as a counselor and substance abuse professional for nearly 30 years. Mr. Potash initially talked with us in 2009 about his debut work, The FBI War On Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders. That book offers a wealth of information on the deliberate, synchronized efforts to neutralize and even murder black activists including Huey P. Newton, Minister Malcolm X, Dr. Afeni Shakur, Assata Shakur, Mumia Abu-Jamal and countless others. His most recent publication, Drugs As Weapons Against Us, builds on his first book by offering a comprehensive review of how White Supremacist enforcement agencies (FBI, CIA, M16, COINTELPRO) have a lengthy history of deliberately using narcotics to neutralize counter-racist efforts. We're eager to hear his thoughts on the recent push to legalize cannabis - and all drugs - under the rubric of reversing the ills of the "War On Drugs" which has devastated black and non-white people. #BlackMentalHealth INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

    The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 04/09/16 Apr 09, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how eeest to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS This week marked the 48-year anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The first black president Bill Clinton marked the occasion by admonishing Black Lives Matter protesters who rebuked the Clintons for their signature political accomplishments that incarcerated record numbers of black bodies. A day later, President Clinton calmed himself and expressed remorse for the conflict. Miles away at the University of Texas Austin, a black male, Meechaiel Criner, was arrested and charged with the death of a 17-year-old White female student. The alleged perpetrator indicated that he was racially abused "almost my whole life" - which greatly compromised his mental health and world view. In North Carolina students on the campus of Duke University occupied the administrative offices for a week before exiting Friday. They rallied to oppose the alleged Racist acts of executive vice president Tallman Trask, who's accused of racially targeting a black parking attendant. The spirit of Dr. King also flourishes north of the border, as Toronto have protested in front of the downtown police headquarters in response to ongoing police terrorism against black Canadians. And most important of all, The People vs OJ Simpson concluded. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. A FOOT IN EACH WORLD Part VI Apr 08, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 6th study session on Leanita McClain's posthumously published A Foot In Each World. McClain was a trailblazing black journalist in the 1980's. She was on the editorial board for the Chicago Tribune and was regulalry published in The Washington Post. She consistently used words to reveal how White Supremacy impacted black people. She succumbed to suicide in May of 1984 at the age of 32. Her suicide note emphasizes the degree to which White Supremacy assailed her mental health. She wrote: "Do not try to pull me back into this world. I will never live long enough to see my people free anyway." A Foot In Each World is a collage of her poetry and essays that was edited by her former husband and journalist Clarence Page. Studying her work chronologically offers insight on her evolving thoughts on Racism as well as her depression. It seems her fear of being rejected or vilified by other black people was a consistant source of agitation. She also seemed to harbor hopes and heartache over a few "Good Whites." Last week we covered her articles which detailed the ongoing attacks against Mayor Harold Washington - the first black mayor of Chicago. Edward Vrdolyak led a gang of White elected officials known as the "Vrdolyak 29." McClain documents how these White politicians made it their duty to obstruct and hamper Washington's administration - foreshadowing the Racist hijinks in opposition to President Obama. McClain's body of work provides a wealth of insight into the years of President Ronald Reagan and the racial politics of the decade. #BlackMentalHealth INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS In the autumn of 2013 Miriam I. Carey was shot and killed in Washington D.C. This week another black person, Larry Russell Dawson, was shot in the capitol city after brandishing a fire arm at the entrance to the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. Unlike Carey, this week's shooting victim was taken into custody alive. Numerous media outlets referenced the 2013 slaughter of Carey and continued the campaign of deception - insisting that Carey crashed a White House gate and raced through the city. Speaking of assault, the "LGBT" division of White Supremacy has sprung to action in response to recent bills in North Carolina and Georgia that are touted as being "anti-gay." Strangely, notoriously homophobic black people apparently had little to do with these bills. White protesters at a Wisconsin Donald Trump rally toted "Black Lives Matter" signs while confronting supporters of the presidential hopeful. A White teen protester, identified in reports as Alex Drake, alleges that a Trump supporter fondled her breast; subsequent reports contend that police have concluded no inappropriate touching occured. The teenager struck the White man she had claimed groped her, and she was promptly pepper-sprayed and branded a "nigger lover." #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Leanita McClain's posthumously published A Foot In Each World. McClain was a brilliant representation of the importance of black journalists. She had articles published in the Chicago Tribune and The Washington Post. She continuously used her platform to investigate how Racism impacted black people. She succumbed to suicide in May of 1984 at the age of 32. Her suicide note reveals the degree to which White Supremacy assaulted her mental health. She wrote: "Do not try to pull me back into this world. I will never live long enough to see my people free anyway." A Foot In Each World is an assembly of her poetry and essays that was edited by her former husband and journalist Clarence Page. Studying her work chronologically offers insight on her evolving views on Racism as well as her personal turmoil. It seems that her fear of being rejected or vilified by other black people was a constant source of anguish. She also seemed to harbor hopes and heartache over a few "Good Whites." Last week we reviewed her essays that capture the energy and angst following Harold Washington's victory as the first black mayor of Chicago. McClain documents how the "Vrdolyack 29" and Whites in general declared war on Washington and aimed to thwart all of his political objectives. In an effort to be "neutral," "objective," McClain pointed out how Washington's behavior was not always fitting of the mayor's office - similar to her remarks on Jesse Jackson's fitness for the White House. McClain also seem conflicted about allegations that the White dominated press practiced Racism in it's coverage of Mayor Washington and black Chicagoans in general. It seems she thought of herself as a representative for both parties. We also discovered during last's week's reading that McClain has a couple White great-grandparents. #BlackMentalHealth INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

While the global White community coalesces to rebuke and avenge the attacks, Gus thinks this could be a fraction of what's do (chickens coming home to roost) for the Belgian genocide of black people in the Congo. United States presidential candidates recalibrated their talking points to speak to the alleged terrorist menace. While Donald J. Trump and Hillary R. Clinton maintain considerable delegate leads in the chase for nomination, in Arizona another alleged Trump protester was bum-rushed. Only this time, a black male, Staff Sgt. Tony Pettway, was detained for cracking the noggin of a White man, Trump dissenter Bryan Sanders. Speaking of police, Peter Liang, the former NYPD officer and convicted killer of Akai Gurley, received a recommendation from the district attorney that he not be incarcerated; the Gurley family was "blindsided." New York hip hop icon and A Tribe Called Quest co-founder Phife Dawg died this week at the age of 45. Former mayor of Toronto, crack smoker and Suspected Racist Rob Ford also died. He was 46. Speaking of disreputable public officials, an independent panel concluded that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, state officials and the Environmental Protection Agency once again showed flagrant "disregard for the concerns" and health of the mostly black citizens of Flint. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS â?? paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 4th study session on Leanita McClain's posthumously published A Foot In Each World. McClain was an exceptional representation of the potency and significance of black journalists. She had articles published in the Chicago Tribune and The Washington Post. She generally used her columns to examine how Racism impacted black people. She succumbed to suicide in May of 1984 at the age of 32. Her suicide note reveals the degree to which White Supremacy destroyed her mental health. She wrote: "Do not try to pull my back into this world. I will never live long enough to see my people free anyway." A Foot In Each World is a compilation of her poetry and essays that was edited by her former husband Clarence Page. Examining her work chronologically offers insight on her evolving understanding of Racism as well as her personal sorrow. It seems that her fear of being rejected or vilified by other black people was a regular source of grief. She also seemed to harbor hopes and heartache over a few "Good Whites." Last week we reviewed her support for pardoning Marcus Garvey and her defense against releasing classified documents on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Her piece, "The Wart On Chicago's face," reveals many of the well-founded trepidation that Black Chicagoans had about the Racist response to election of Mayor Harold Washington; in this essay, McClain captures the identical energy and anxiety of President Obama's 2008 run for the White House. #BlackMentalHealth INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

Lorne Cress Love returns to The Context of White Supremacy. We'll get her views on this past weekend's tribute to her sister, author and attempted counter-racist scientist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. The memorial was held at the historic Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D.C. Ms. Cress Love told the thousands in attendance that more than highfalutin words, black people's actions should reflect our appreciation and understanding of Dr. Welsing's teachings and decades of service. Since Ms. Cress Love last spoke with us, she and the Cress family suffered the tragic loss of Barbara Cress Lawrence. We'll ask her for additional lessons from her time as a SNCC activist and her observations of Whites who wanted to "help" black people during the Civil Rights Movement. We'll also discuss her labor constructing independent media outlets for black people. Ms. Cress Love should have details on how listeners can invest in efforts to produce educational material for black children based on the teachings of Dr. Welsing. #BlackSelfRespect INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

The C.O.W.S. Global Sunday Talk On Racism 03/20/16 Mar 20, 2016
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our monthly Global Sunday Talk On Racism. This program is constructed to encourage participation from Victims of Racisms beyond the United States and/or non-white people who are not able to call-in during our normal broadcast time. This broadcast will christen the beginning of spring; hopefully, the warmer weather will stimulate constructive thinking and fresh concepts for permanently neutralizing the White Race. Last month we discussed the case of Sarah Reed - a black female who died under suspicious circumstances in a UK prison. She reportedly suffered from mental health issues which were not being correctly addressed by authorities. This week offered further evidence of the global assault on non-white mental health as the indigenous population of Canada struggles with a widespread suicide epidemic - younger non-whites have been especially hard hit. We'll also get an update from our global audience on the rising anti-immigrant sentiments throughout the world and their assessment of the United States presidential race. #BlackMentalHealth INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE: 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p

Her theory of White Genetic Annihilation continues to be substantiated daily. In the United Stated the clocks were moved forward and Donald J. Trump and Hillary R. Clinton pummeled their opponents during the final winter primary; both hold sizable delegate leads and look poised for a November deathmatch for the White House. Once again black people were credited with aiding Clinton's defeat of Senator Bernie Sanders. Speaking of black political power, President Obama nominated Judge Garland Merrick to fill the SCOTUS vacancy. NPR's Nina Totenberg noted that the president picked the only White Man on his short list of candidates. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder testified before Congress about the poisoned water in Flint and how his administration's response. Despite ongoing recall efforts, Mr. Snyder remains employed. And speaking of White men getting off the hook, the continuing trials for the 2013 White Terrorism at San Jose State University highlight the need for criminal justice reform. Two former White students were sentenced to thirty days in jail or weekend work; they must also complete "50 hours of volunteer work with a nonprofit organization serving the black community and enroll in a cultural awareness program on the African-American experience." A third White criminal was given probation. #AnswersForMiriamCarey INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. archives: http://tiny.cc/76f6p
