The Context of White Supremacy makes time to access how the latest round of counter-racist t-shirts have been received. Ages ago, we experimented with shirts that said, "Please, respect me like I am a White person." These contentious tops weren't exactly thought of as the latest fashion craze. Gus predicted Whites would be mostly pleasant and courteous about the shirt because so much of the practice of White Supremacy relies on abusing clueless victims. The shirt would suggest the non-white person has some understanding that they are being terrorized specifically because they are not White, and this would be enough to make most Racists hesitant about molesting a more vigilant victim. Over the past six years, Gus has had many opportunities to dawn his counter-racist garment, and the overwhelming response has been in consistent with his prediction. Trump is about intensify his enduring impact as Commander In Chief. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement from bench this week, which means President Trump will have his second opportunity to nominate a justice to the bench. On a week when the aforementioned #SCOTUS ruled in favor of President Trump's travel ban, Whites kept a colossal amount of attention on the separation of children and parents at the Mexican border. The police killing of 17-year-old Antwon Rose IIÂ received substantially less attention. The black male was killed by a Suspected Race Soldier, Michael Rosfeld, who has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide. Demonstrating the consistency of White Terrorism, Franklin Gebhardt was convicted of the 1983 lynching of Timothy Coggins. A group of other Whites are facing charges for refusing to snitch on the White Terrorist for decades. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 9th study session on Ralph Ellison's 1952 novel, Invisible Man. Gus T's all-time favorite book, Ellison's extraordinary text was selected for the 1953 National Book Award and has been studied and exalted around the globe for almost a century. The book follows the journey of an unnamed black male as he toils through the confusion and terrorism of White Supremacy (Racism). Last week's session saw the protagonist remove himself from Mary's residence - following the orders of his new White employers, The Brotherhood. He breaks Mary's jolly nigger bank on his last day, and hides the scraps in his briefcase as he exits. The Brotherhood welcome him to their organization and provide him with a chance to be a featured speaker on their evening program. The main character gave an emotional appeal and spoke about feeling a greater level of "humanity" since joining The Brotherhood. The Whites in the organization are dissatisfied with what they call his "unscientific" speechifying. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This broadcast is specifically constructed to improve non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. Any listeners who've created an effective workplace code to reduce conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other types of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to call in with particulars. We always appreciate hearing the experiences of "black entrepreneurs;" please, share with us how being "self employed" makes better your labor experience. We'll also re-visit what stops us from constantly applying our counter-racist code on the job. More often than not, failure to adhere counter-racist logic leads to easily avoidable problems. Gus suggests that Victims of Racism write down critical workplace incidents. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more reliable than memory, and the act of writing can organize your thinking. The same Whites whose ancestors raped, tortured and sold black children like used tires. Meanwhile, Gus T. Renegade is in the epicenter of the LGBT agenda as Seattle celebrates so called Gay Pride. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 8th study session on Ralph Ellison's 1952 gem, Invisible Man. Gus T's all-time favorite book, Ellison's exemplary novel was selected for the 1953 National Book Award and has been studied and celebrated around the world for 75 years. The book chronicles an unnamed black male as he slogs through the turmoil and terrorism of White Supremacy (Racism). Last week's session covered the eviction of an elderly black couple by a White police officer. The main character attempts to calm the gathering black crowd, but they eventually stampeded him on the way to brutalizing the White policeman. Reinforcements quell the ensuing "riot," but a White organization named the Brotherhood appreciates the protagonist's speech-making, and hope to acquire his services. Working with the Brotherhood pays well, but requires the man character to vacate Ms. Mary's rooming house and to sever ties with his friends and family. Jay Z and Beyonce dedicated the final performance of their London concert to the victims of the blaze. 365 days later, no one remains criminally accountable for the disaster. Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un held a long awaited summit this week in Singapore, where Whites emphasized the importance of castrating the non-white country's nuclear capacity. Some pundits have questioned how such a meeting would be perceived if President Obama still occupied the White House. This week marks one year since the catastrophic Grenfell Tower fire killed dozens of mostly non-white people. The newly launched inquiry investigates the cause of the deadly fire, while reports admit little has improved over the past dozen months to prevent such a traumatic loss of life from happening again. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the seventh study session on Ralph Ellison's 1952 classic, Invisible Man. Gus T's all-time favorite book, Ellison's extraordinary novel was selected for the 1953 National Book Award and has been reviewed and praised internationally for 75 years. The narrative follows an unnamed black male as he slogs through the turmoil and terrorism of White Supremacy (Racism). Last week's session saw the main character being subjected to medical butchers, who experimented on him after he was knocked unconscious by an explosion in the paint factory. The White doctors subject him painful electrical shocks in order to change him a "new man." This unnamed new man staggers away from the factory jobless, and luckily meets a black female who's willing to nurse him back to health. Ms. Mary reminds the protagonist of his own family and Southern roots that he's left behind to chase a college education and New York fantasies.
