The Context of White Supremacy hosts our fourth study session on Dr. Gerald Horne's biography, Paul Robeson: The Artist As Revolutionary. Dr. Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. He's authored a bounty of texts and articles that detail what Racism/White Supremacy is and how it operates globally. His 2016 treatment of Robeson chronicles the latter's illustrious achievements as a linguist, scholar, athlete and entertainer. Robeson used the his enormous bounty of talent to address the problem of Racism. Last week's session detailed the Robesons's increasing political awareness. Dr. Horne writes that Paul Robeson became disinterested in lavish spending (showoffism) which is lucrative acting career provided. Much like 21st century racist entertainment, Robeson was frequently asked to perform in plays that celebrated global White Domination and black inferiority. With his lofty accomplishments, Robeson remained humble enough to accept criticism from peers and friends like Marcus Garvey and Ben Davis. While talk of impeachment hearings and transcripts dominates much of the news (#4MoYears), the value of White life is on display in Mexico. A massive international manhunt is being coordinated following the killing of a family of nine Mormons earlier this week. Journalist have pointed out the routine violence in Mexico involving non-white people that is routinely unpunished. The New York Times journalist Charles M. Blow wrote a dazzling piece challenging the consistent accusation that black people are menacing threat to homosexuals - particularly in the voting booth. Speaking voting, in Mississippi thousands of citizens - many of them black - are obstructed from voting because of laws created decades earlier for the purpose of strengthening White Supremacy. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Friday weekly caucus on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This program is specifically crafted to bolster non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while on the job. Any listeners who've designed a code to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, bypass demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to dial in with specifics. We always appreciate the chance to learn about the experiences of "black entrepreneurs." Please, share with us how being "self employed" improves your work experience. We'll continue to review how attempted counter-racists can best utilize recording devices to solve problems without creating new problems in the workplace. Dr. Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. He's authored a bounty of texts and articles that detail what Racism/White Supremacy is and how it operates globally. His 2016 treatment of Robeson chronicles the latter's illustrious achievements as a linguist, scholar, athlete and entertainer. Robeson used the his enormous bounty of talent to address the problem of Racism. Last week's session detailed some of the marital problems between Paul and his wife Eslanda Robeson. He was substantially darker than she, and was treated better by Whites and other Victims of Racism. Some if their problems were financially related, and Robeson expressed strain about being hounded for taxes on his income. As Robeson's acting career blossomed, he reported feeling more free (less Racist abuse) when he was outside the United States - especially when he played a theater roll that required "intimate" relations with a White actress. Certified prenatal and vinyasa yoga instructor, Victim of White Supremacy and host of The C.O.W.S. Talk Radio, Gus T. Renegade was harassed and threatened during a Sunday morning yoga class. A non-white, non-black female arrived for class late. She encroached on the area where Gus was practicing, and after he moved to accommodate her, she asked him to move more. He refused. Following class, things escalated. Gus will recount what happened and explain what this incident reveals about White Supremacy/Racism. Dr. Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. He's authored a bounty of texts and articles that detail what Racism/White Supremacy is and how it operates globally. His 2016 treatment of Robeson chronicles the latter's illustrious achievements as a linguist, scholar, athlete and entertainer. Robeson used the his enormous bounty of talent to address the problem of Racism. Last week's session emphasize the prominence that Robeson achieved during his life. Dr. Horne archives how White and non-whites around the globe sang the songs and recognize the brilliance of Robeson. In addition to athletic excellence, Robeson was studied law at Columbia University, and worked in the legal profession until he quit after an incident of White Supremacy. A White Woman refused to write a letter for a negro. Like the passing of many prominent black people, including Muhammad Ali and Dr. Maya Angelou, former U.S. president and Suspected Racist Bill Clinton was a guest speaker at Rep. Cummings's public memorial service. Speaking of the White House, current President Donald J. Trump was criticized for describing the impeachment inquiry as a metaphorical "lynching." In Chicago, Illinois teachers remain on strike for better teaching conditions for the city's hefty population of black students. In New Jersey, a pair of White students lobbed racist slurs and threw urine on a black child.
