The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Azure Savage. A eighteen-year-old Seattle High School student, Ms. Savage began to closely examine her experience in her White-dominated "advanced" classes. After much study, she wrote the book, You Failed Us: Students of Color Talk Seattle Schools. Savage interviews a myriad of other non-white students about their experience with Racist teachers and classmates. In between, she weaves in her own narrative about being sexually terrorized by male students and ignored and ridiculed by White teachers and peers. Savage speaks honestly about identifying as "transgender" and "queer" as well as her futile efforts seeking White validation. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS While Whites demanded celebration of the so called Thanksgiving Holiday, there was a lack of brotherhood or even civility at a Michigan high school football contest. White parents were accused of terrorizing black children and parents during the game. A White employee with Denby High School said the way the black students were treated made him "ashamed to be a White man." With what seems to be a growing number Racist aggression in schools and beyond, a growing number of "terrorism experts" that the threat of White Supremacy is being minimized. Speaking aggressive Whites, Eddie Gallagher, a former Navy Seal, was acquitted of murder but convicted of posting nude photos of corpses - similar to the posting of lynched black bodies. President Donald J. This broadcast is specifically constructed to bolster non-white people's problem-solving skills and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. Any listeners who've designed a code to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to dial in with details. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our sixth study session on Dr. Gerald Horne's biography, Paul Robeson: The Artist As Revolutionary. Dr. Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. He's authored a bounty of texts and articles that detail what Racism/White Supremacy is and how it operates globally. His 2016 treatment of Robeson chronicles the latter's illustrious achievements as a linguist, scholar, athlete and entertainer. Robeson used the his enormous bounty of talent to address the problem of Racism. Last week's session detailed the enormous surveillance targeting Robeson for the duration of his adult life. Robeson suffered economically as his passport was stripped and he was not allowed to secure the high paying entertainment jobs he previously enjoyed. Sadly, once White Supremacists intensified their pressure on Robeson, many black people also attacked the thespian/actor. The same week the latest Democratic Presidential debate was hosted in Atlanta, a White Georgia teenage girl was arrested for plotting a White Terrorist attack on the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Enforcement officers report that she was allegedly inspired by convicted mass killer and White Supremacist Dylann Roof and had written a similar manifesto deriding black people. In Europe, Prince Andrew faces intensifying criticism for his relationship with child rapist Jerry Epstein. Additionally, this week he was in additional row, accused by a former government employee of using the phrase "nigger in the wood pile." Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg offered a belated apology for the damaged inflicted by the NYPD's "stop and frisk" pogrom. The Context of White Supremacy hosts our fifth study session on Dr. Gerald Horne's biography, Paul Robeson: The Artist As Revolutionary. Dr. Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. He's authored a bounty of texts and articles that detail what Racism/White Supremacy is and how it operates globally. Dr. Horne describes numerous instances when FBI agents somehow became aware of controversial statements or conversations about politics and Racism. At one point, Mr. Robeson was in a serious automobile accident, where the evidence showed the vehicle had been sabotaged. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Laura Wexler. A writer and instructor at Johns Hopkins University, Ms. Wexler formerly resided in Georgia where she researched the 1946 Moore's Ford Bridge Lynching. Four black people, two black males and two black females, where shot and killed by a mob of Whites in July of '46. The slaughter caused national outrage and prompted a investigation from the J. Edgar Hoover's FBI. In 2003, Wexler published Fire In A Canebrake: The Last Mass Lynching In America, which documents her years of research into the mass murder. We'll discuss what motivated Wexler, a White woman, to investigate this case and we'll explore what this incident reveals about White dedication (not ignorance) to Racism. The shooter reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No motive has been reported. In Texas, celebrities and activities call for the execution of Rodney Reed to be halted.
