I was very young when my parents started noticing something strange about my behavior. I was more moody than children should be normally and talked to myself a lot. So they took me to a psychiatrist for a thorough mental health checkup. It took a few trips and psychological tests and then they diagnosed me with multiple personality disorder. I don’t remember much but I remember my mom crying for days after getting the diagnosis result but then she learned to live with it as I did.

I used to work at the drive thru section of a fast food restaurant. I had just moved out of my parents house so I was living of from the weigh from there which was not a lot and the tips I got from costumers weren’t much either. But except for my boss I had fun people around so I loved working there. I was very kind and well-behaved in the workplace and with all kinds of customers, however I was a tad bit extra friendly with the customers that tipped well, they deserve that after all since I had worked there for almost a year I knew all the regular customers.

Growing up, my parents did always act a little strange. They weren't like your normal parents. Sometimes they were nice and fun, other times they would yell at me and ground me for days on end.

Other times they saw things, like hallucinations. They'd talk to thin-air as if someone was standing there. Sometimes they would be in the living room, watching TV, and as I walked in they would stare at me like they had no idea who I was. Pretty weird, right?

My life turned out to be complicated and chaotic when I turned 16. It was then that I figured out a deep secret about myself that everyone in my family knew about except for me.

My parents were very rich business people who had to travel all of the time so they didn’t have any time for me. Because of that as soon as I was born they had hired a woman as my nanny who took care of me and looked after me and a man as my driver who drove me around wherever I needed to go; from doctor’s appointments to school. But later when I joined the volleyball team in school he turned into my home coach and would help me practice at home as my dad should have. But I didn’t have any complaints against my parents because the people they hired were very good at their jobs of raising me.

I was busy cheering and chanting encouragement with my fellow cheerleaders when I felt someone touch my elbow. I turned around and saw Derek, one of the most popular guys at school. He wasn't a football player, he was just rich and brilliant. We chatted for a while, until he asked me out on a date. I said yes, because he was very cute and charming. It was a beautiful autumn afternoon and I was on my way to my best friend Scylla’s house on my bike. A couple of us friends were gathering there to go cycling around the trail in the forest near her house. We used to go there every two weeks to get some fresh air and exercise. However, I was not as excited about cycling more than I was for something else. The thing was that I had a huge crush on Scylla’s older brother Silas. He was so handsome and athletic and also very loving and caring to Scylla which I absolutely admired.
