Episode 108 - The Meeks Family: Randy, Mindy, Chad, & Martha; Scream 5 v. Scream 6 May 23, 2023

Show notes

Scream was known as the self-referential film that cineaphiles loved because their knowledge and interest of film was validated. The best avatar representing the meta aspect of the original film is Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy). In Scream 3, we were introduced briefly to his sister Martha (Heather Matarazzo). In the Radio Silence era, the bloodline continued with his niece, the horror movie expert Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and nephew, the jock with a heart of gold Chad (Mason Gooding Jr.) taking on central roles. This week, Ryan and Patreon guests take a analyze at the Meeks family collectively and the individual characters. In addition, Andre Felix, the editor of Zack Cherry's podcast, The Cherry Picker, joins Ryan for the introduction for a mini battle: Scream 5 v. Scream 6.
