    Redefining Movement

Redefining Movement, the LYT podcast, is hosted by two Physical Therapists: Lara Heimann, founder of LYT, and Kristin Williams, COO & Senior LYT Instructor. Together, they explore movement through the lens of physical therapy, neuroscience, and the lived experience of being human.

Blending scientific insights with soulful perspectives, Lara and Kristin transform our understanding of how our bodies and minds interact. Though the show has changed in several ways since the first episode in 2018, the mission remains steadfast and clear: to help us find freedom and feel empowered through intelligent movement patterns and a compassionate outlook, so we can all live more capable, connected, and uplifted lives.

    • I have always felt like my hamstrings were tight, but no matter what I do to flex them, nothing seems to help. Any tips?

    492. Using Daily Rituals To Take Your Yoga Practice Deeper with Kori Hahn Dec 31, 2021
    Show notes

When Kori Hahn was twenty, she packed up everything she owned – which wasn’t much – and drove nonstop for seven days, ending up in Alaska. She lived off-grid and made her own way through life, which gave her a lifelong taste for living mindfully and slowing down.

From there, she began to travel extensively, leading her to Sri Lanka as of this conversation.

Kori wanted to prove to the yogis of the world the importance of intuition. Rooted in that driving idea, she dove into the pursuit of writing a book, Rituals of the Soul. Through that process, she learned to redefine, for herself, what yoga is, and what it means to her.

She joins the podcast to share how you can use the eight principles of yoga to live a more balanced, meaningful life while cultivating a deeper connection to purpose.

    487. How to Be More Social Dec 20, 2021
    Show notes

This might sound silly, but I think we’re all a little out of practice with our social skills right now. Being used to isolating ourselves during the pandemic, we’re rusty. To help restart our social muscles, I have a handy acronym to help remember small ways we can help ourselves come out of these cocoons as social butterflies.
