Stay ConnectedAmanda and John, friends for over 20 years, come together to discuss all things Sex and the City (and SATC adjacent!). Join us as we lovingly snark along with each episode, and feel all those feels from the early 2000’s. The fashion, the storylines, the friendships, the MEN. Some are outdated, but so many more are just timeless!

So many more plot points arise in this third episode of the ceiling, which brings about a million unanswered questions and plot holes. Has LTW seriously taken 8 YEARS to do one documentary? Why did Aiden make that weird face about the Adderall? What was that second bulge in Guissepe’s romper? WHY IS THIS SHOW 42 MINUTES LONG??? Nevertheless, we persist. Enjoy!!!

Remember last week when we had…oh what’s the word…OPTIMISM about season three? Well, all of that went out the window with, whatever this was. Carrie apparantly now is fine with squirrels, but can barely keep her own cat within its nine lives. She also has “outdoor heels” which is…sigh. Miranda leads a storyline that is really just MPK, with his zero sense of humor or self awareness, giving a big EFF YOU to his loyal audience. Seema has a great little scene that we wish could have just been the entire 42 minute episode, and Kristen Schall is fully wasted in her straight man role. Enjoy!!!

Season 3 is HERE BABY and we are fully PLUCKED. Mostly because we were expecting this to be as much of a hot mess as S1 & S2 but low and behold, what's this? GROWTH IN THE WRITERS ROOM? We are cautiously optomisticc about this season now based on the high points in this premiere (and believe us, we also point out the many flaws), such as Miranda breaking out of of her weird brain transplant from the the prior episodes, Carrie's friends actually acknowledging what a bad idea this situation with Aiden is, and, best of all: ROSIE. We knew our girl could pull this off, but the extra grace and levity she brings to the character of Mary makes us both proud to be lifelong Rosie stans. Enjoy!!!

We are still BUZZING after going through this epic season! Each episode gets more exciting and the stakes get higher and higher! This was a tough ranking with so many bangers and only two semi-problematic episodes, so we hope you agree with some of these choices! Spoiler: both of our individual favorite episodes of the series are from this season! Enjoy!!!

We had so much fun revisiting season 2 of SATC; a season that had no right to be so good in its sophomore year! Only a couple super problematic storylines in this one (yet unfortunately still relevant) but for the most part we enjoyed remembering Carrie smoking at the Yanked Game looking cool af, the summer in the Hamptons, and Miranda wearing THAT OUTFIT (straight to jail!). Did we get it right? What are YOUR favorite episodes of season 2? Enjoy!!!
