Stay ConnectedAmanda and John, friends for over 20 years, come together to discuss all things Sex and the City (and SATC adjacent!). Join us as we lovingly snark along with each episode, and feel all those feels from the early 2000’s. The fashion, the storylines, the friendships, the MEN. Some are outdated, but so many more are just timeless!

As we wait for AJLT S3 with baited breath, we decide to use this interim week to do a deep dive on the more mundane and (in many cases) more toxic pieces of the SATC universe: THE MEN. Now, slight disclaimer here: we used a pre-existing list so some very glaring omissions were accidentally made here (ahem...Richard?) but we can't be spending any more time thinking about straight men than we already do, okay? What do you guys think? Are our picks fair? Controversial? Dumb? Let us know! But keep it cute! Remember...we are sensitive! (But not as sensitive as some of the men on this list). Enjoy!!!

As we reach the end of season 3, we pay homage to the consistency of the writing, costumes, acting, and story arcs of all of these episodes! It will especially be on our mind as we enter season 3 of AJLT, and its almost impossible to not compare and think "ummm what the HECK happened???" But like all of us millennial fans with the appropriate Stockholm Syndrome, We will go into AJLT with positive thoughts and prayers.
On this episode, Carrie plans to meet with Big "one more time" for some closure, and Miranda IS. NOT. HEARING. IT. Which, of course, makes Miranda the devil (according to Carrie, who expects a voicemail apology by the time she arrives home). Miranda is shamed by a Chinese restaurant hostess, but is it really just herself projecting? (spoiler: yes AND; the woman is literally laughing at her), Samantha has a super problematic-but-at-the-same-time kinda progressive battle with some "working girls" below her window, and Charlotte and Trey finally manage to CUM to an understanding. Enjoy!!!

*Important AJLT scheduling news at the top of episode! Episode recap begins at 15 min*
We are closing in on the grand finale of Season 3, and this is another solid episode of writing, acting, and fashion, baby!!! Charlotte and Trey's ice cold bed finally reaches a freezing point when Charlotte kisses a hot gardener in the Hamptons, Trey gives all the girls and gays what we NEED with a glistening shirtless sweaty tennis scene, Samantha takes a college student's flower, Miranda drinks away her low self-esteem on a date with a man who is exactly at her own attractiveness level, and Carrie makes the INSANE decision to track down Natasha and force her to forgive her and possibly even give her and Big her blessing. Enjoy!!!

Another banger episode of season 3! The looks, the hair, the fashion here are all on point, and we love seeing our ladies get to work with some solid writing material! (AJLT WRITERS: we are looking at you with all the side-eye). Carrie is hired to teach a dating class at the learning annex, which she prepares for about as much as she does for everything else in her life. Miranda’s date stands her up because he DIED, Charlotte is still unable to bring Trey into home base, and in turn, all 3 ladies treat Samantha absolutely horribly! Samantha: GET NEW FRIENDS! Enjoy!!!
