Although we believe that time is the most valuable resource we have, we ignore where our time is actually going. If most people treated their money the way they treated their time, they would be dead broke.

What we’re going to do today is to create space and time for intentional evaluation. Because most of the answers you need, you already have, sometimes you need to take the time to think, evaluate, and reflect.

So we're going to think and evaluate and reflect today on the topic of how you are using your time and where you should be using your time.

    1. On a scale of one to 10, where are you compared to capacity, and what is correct for this season?
    2. What habit is your biggest time black hole? (seemingly endless void that lacks structure, aim, or direction) What does healthy look like for that area?
    3. Are you scheduling time for your: 1. Physical health 2. Relationships 3. Spiritual health
    4. What percentage of your work hours are spent in your strength zone? What is correct in this season?
    5. How often do you take part in scheduled intake?
    6. Who's your favorite person to spend time with? What would it look like for them to show up on your calendar 10% more?
    7. Rate the consistency of your morning routine. What should it be for this season?
    8. What is the activity that you do that provides the greatest return for your customers? Is it scheduled?
    9. What is the activity that you do that provides the greatest return for your team? Is it scheduled?
    10. What is the activity that you do that provides the greatest return for your family? Is it scheduled?
    11. What is the activity that you do that provides the greatest return for yourself? Is it scheduled?

The specificity of your strategy will never exceed the specificity of your vision.

People do not achieve their goals because they have not clearly defined what success is for themselves. Once you have defined that personally, you need to create a simple and clear plan that you believe in, guiding you to your desired outcome.

In today’s path for growth conversation, Nick Carrier (founder of Best You) talks about how he tweaked The 4 Disciplines of Execution to shape his health and fitness coaching approach.

Some of the cornerstones of his approach to fitness coaching are accountability and visibility.

To achieve your goal, it needs to be worthy and winnable.

How do you scale a business?

    • Identify and own your skillset and strengths
    • Hire people who are so passionate about your purpose and vision that they're excited to do the things you're currently procrastinating.

That's exactly what we did at Path For Growth when we hired our COO Zack Estes. He just completed his first 90 days as our COO! We are all so PUMPED about the energy, skillset, conviction, and strength that he is bringing to the team.

Zack previously worked as a Process Engineer at a Manufacturing Plant, an Operations Improvement Engineer at Vanderbilt Medical Center, and the Media Operations Engineer at EntreLeadership. He has a deep-seated passion for increasing organizational efficiency without sacrificing humanity.

Most important, Zack and his wife Taylor live in alignment with Path for Growth values and are the type of people that we love working with. Their excitement to be a part of this mission at the early stages is going to be a blessing to all of us.

Today Zack and Alex recap his first 90 days and talk about the three types of meetings that they have found to be essential for an owner and COO.

    1. Daily check-ins that encourage you to be honest and share what you're doing.
    2. Weekly status updates and strategic problem-solving.
    3. Weekly feedback with each other in an environment of safety and trust.

Mike Valiton knows because he did it. 29 years old and the vice president of a Fortune 500 company, Mike learned the hard way that; you can achieve your goals at the expense of your health, family, spiritual life, and friends because there is a huge difference between achievement and fulfillment.

Growth and impact are not created by the absence of conflict. They are created by the presence of healthy conflict.

There are 4 primary reasons why impact-driven leaders avoid healthy conflict:

    1. The desire to be liked
    2. The desire to be comfortable
    3. The desire to be in control
    4. The desire to move forward fast

Michael Hyatt is a New York Times bestselling author and the founder and Chairman of Michael Hyatt & Company, a productivity and leadership development firm helping successful but overwhelmed leaders get the focus they need to realize the Double Win.

    Five Circles of Influence:

    1. Lead Yourself: Self-leadership precedes team leadership and public influence. If you can't lead yourself, you shouldn't, and can't lead others
    2. Confide In Your Close 3: We need close friends, confidence where we can set aside the public persona and be our authentic selves.
    3. Train the 12: Do life with with others, teach them, share daily living. Transformation is caught not taught.
    4. Mobilize The 70: Give specific assignments, build a team and give them authority. Maximum impact requires intentional delegation.
    5. Teach The Multitudes: Confront the status quo, shift the paradigm and force people to think.

Who are the people in your sphere right that would gain from you intentionally pouring yourself out. Choose to specifically, deliberately and purposefully pour into those 3, 12 or 70.
