We have a disclaimer for this episode of Feb-Woo No You Didn't-uary..'Barbara (Corinne's mom) don't watch this movie.' Everyone else can have at it because we are covering Bros the gayest rom-com out there! It stars Billy Eichner as Bobby, an opinionated podcaster, gay rights activist and perpetual single guy until he meets Aaron, played by Luke Macfarlane who is even more anti-relationship than Bobby. They navigate the tricky waters of gay dating while trying to stamp down their growing feelings for each other. In this episode: we muse that Debra Messing may have missed her calling as a dominatrix, debate the difference between cuddle parties vs. cuddle puddles and Tamara proclaims that Corinne needs to be her 'forever float partner' or else they are not friends anymore...of course she doesn't mean it because they're 'Sisters from other misters,' which is the perfect partnership to recap the movie Bros.

Darcy is planning her wedding to Dex, played by Colin Egglesfield, until one fateful booze fueled evening when Rachel winds up in bed with...well you'll have to tune in to find out! In this episode Corinne and Tammy agree that they need more coordinated dances in their lives, that the name Egglesfield sounds like the breakfast you don't want and reminisce about the time Tammy was aggressively pursued at a club by her own drunken Pacman bar shark. We hope we can borrow a couple of hours, so that you can join us for our excursion into Something Borrowed. Episode drops Tuesday February 14th, annnnd Happy Valentines, Gal-entines or F-it I don't need a stupid holiday to eat chocolates Day!!

We are back and better than ever! This month our theme is Feb-Woo No You Didn't-uary where we explore movies with problematic(?) relationships. Our first installment is The Birthday Wish starring Jessy Schram as Gwen, a girl who desperately wants to get married before her 30th birthday. She thinks she's on her way until she meets Dave, played by Luke Macfarlane, a co-worker who throws a wrench in all her plans. In this episode we discuss the largest storyboards in the history of storyboards, the debatable worst karaoke songs to sing and the 'audacity' of Gwen's mom to rush into a relationship a mere 17 years after her husband died (gasp). We are celebrating being back together and trying to restrain Corinne from jumping out of a cake...because that is what we do with cake and The Birthday Wish.
78: Humping Lawn Ornaments & Coddling Baubles: Three Wise Men & a Baby

Our final Christmas movie is one of our most anticipated. This week we are doing Three Wise Men and a Baby. It stars all the Hallmark hotties: Tyler Hynes as Taylor the surly brother who can't keep a job, Andrew Walker as Luke the firefighter who keeps the family together and doesn't know how to answer a text and Paul Campbell as Stephan, the socially awkward brother who feels more comfortable talking to animals than people. These three get a baby dropped at their feet before Christmas and must work together to care for the child. In this episode we make up new words like bananasa and vaby (which means very different baby), contemplate how none of the brothers could be the baby's father because of their very visible chastity rings and marvel at how the humping lawn ornament is the most action we've seen in any Hallmark movie. This episode is hunk heavy and bananasa and we hope you join us for Three Wise Men and a Baby.

We are in the midst of celebrating our Holiday Movie Magic and Tamara chose one of her favorites, Elf. It stars Will Ferrell as Buddy, an orphan who was mistakenly taken to the North Pole, raised by Santa and his elves. Only to discover as an adult that he's human, so he goes on a quest to the Big Apple to find his family. In this episode we ponder whether Corinne is really an elf (she likes to sing, compliments peoples outfits and is pretty merry), Flesh out a new product to rival the elf on the shelf (we call in Eding on Bedding and it allows you to sit on Corinne's face) and ponder the merits of chewing ABC (already been chewed) gum. This is one of our funnest episodes so we hope you grab a buddy and join us for Elf.

FaLaLaLaLa we love the holidays and their movies. This week we are diving into the Christmas Spirit with A Holiday in Harlem. It stars Olivia Washington as Jazmin, a successful business woman who comes back into town and through a series of unfortunate events is roped into running the Christmas Jamboree with her old bestie Caleb, played by Will Adams. In this episode we discuss the various uses of Corinne's panic room (aka her closet), the merits of causing fights to evade clean up responsibilities, and do a reenactment of the movie's beat poetry scene...but sex it up a few levels. The holidays are coming on strong. And while Corinne is in full on Christmas mode, Tamara is still drinking cocoa out of her Halloween mug but it's the best of both worlds here at ODK and at A Holiday In Harlem.

It's our last installment of 'We're Not Sure November' movies and we have picked a doozy, The Holiday (not to be confused with Last Holiday). It stars Cameron Diaz as Amanda, a woman disenchanted with her high flying life. She decides to switch houses with Iris, played by Kate Winslet. They both swear off men for the holidays, until they meet Graham, played by Jude Law and Miles, played by Jack Black. In this episode we discuss Tam's sadistic dancehall vertical blinds, propose a Just For Men box hair dye makeover for one of the senior characters and propose that the Hallmark set designers be called on to kersplode Christmas all over this movie (then perhaps we wouldn't be confused about the holiday-ness of it all). We are taking next week off but hope you enjoy The Holiday while we take a short Holiday ourselves.

We are at the tail end of: We Are Not Sure November, and this week we are covering Last Holiday and pondering whether it can be considered a holiday movie. It stars Queen Latifah as Georgia, a woman who isn't living life to the fullest. Including, not telling her crush Sean, played by LL Cool J that she loves him. Things turn upside down when she gets the news that she only has weeks to live. In this episode we discuss: how Georgia's Lean Cuisine obsession is remarkably sadder than her impending death, How Sean (aka LL Cool J's) lips should come with an R rating and we brainstorm another ODK side hustle-a rejuvenation retreat, equipped with healing gongs and running shirtless through eucalyptus trees. Why go to a health spa when you can find your bliss with us as we recap Last Holiday.
74: Jostling Wangs & A Wannabe Thanksgiving Movie: The Family Stone

We are in 'Not Sure November' where we are covering holiday movies but it's not quite clear (to us, at least) what the holiday is. This week we are doing The Family Stone which stars everyone! Everett, played by Dermot Mulroney, is bringing his uptight girlfriend Meredith played by Sarah Jessica Parker home to meet his family. But there are secrets and scandals afoot. In this episode we explain how to diffuse a tense situation by grabbing someones Ta Ta, wonder if anyone would want a reunion with the person that popped their cherry and marvel at the fact that Corinne's voice has gone '2 packs a day' husky. This movie is an adventure and we hope you join us for the ride that is The Family Stone.
73: Living Tractor Dreams & Comfort Bongs-Little Monsters

We are veering away from our witchy ways and turning into zombie territory with our next Spooktacular movie, Little Monsters. It stars Lupita Nyong'o as Ms. Caroline, a kindergarten teacher who has to save her students from a zombie invasion with nothing but her co-chaperone Dave, played by Alexander England, who has Peter Pan syndrome and a major crush on her. In this episode we discuss why making a wedding ring out of pipe cleaner is cute when you're five and very un-cute at 35, how saying God Damn it in a song doesn't qualify you as a Christian rock band and how Teddy McGiggles is high on our list of super villains. This movie about the undead gave us life! We thoroughly enjoyed Little Monsters and hope you do too.
