62: Just Begging For A 'D': Love, Classified
Aug 09, 2022
Show notes
There is A-Gust of change in August. This month we are doing Rom-Coms and Hallmark movies. Our first selection is a Hallmark movie called Love, Classified. It has a stellar cast including: Melora Hardin, Katherine McNamara, Arienne Mandi and Max Lloyd-Jones. This movie has everything, disgruntled children, a distant mother, a lesbian kiss and a pretty diverse cast (which we are here for). In this episode we discuss: how many ways you can pronounce Bloomeria, play out all kinds of fun scenarios like 'what would you do if I had a heart attack and didn't tell you?', and give advice on the non-committal noises you can make when someone says something stupid. We hope you listen in as we share what we found in Love, Classified.

61: Muff Rebuffer & Naming Chickens: Under The Christmas Tree
Jul 26, 2022
Show notes
Sadly, its our last episode of Making the Yuletide Gay in Julay but we went out with a bang! This weeks movie is: Underneath the Christmas Tree starring Elise Bauman as Alma Beltran a Christmas loving lesbian slated to take over her family business until she meets Charlie Freemont played by Tattiawna Jones a tree whisperer that wants to procure the family fir (aka use the Beltran family tree at the state capital) against Alma's wishes. In this episode we contemplate whether croquembouche is a dirty word, wonder if the buzzing around town is the dildo factory testing product and Corinne adds an alternate ending to the movie that is pure Lifetime (spoiler: it involves an axe wielding Alma and a town full of secrets). We had a lot of fun guessing what was under the Christmas Tree and hope you join us as we unwrap our last Gay in Julay movie.
60: Side Car of Doulas & The Triangle of Pain: Every Time a Bell Rings

We are still knee deep into Making The Yuletide Gay in Julay. Our movie this week is Every Time a Bell Rings with a stellar cast too big to mention here. Three estranged sisters return home after a long absence to find their deceased father has one more surprise that may bring them back together. In this episode we contemplate whether syrup is served on snowflake pancakes, if you could wear your shoes as earrings to make room in your carry on luggage and if Nachos should be a band name or stay a tasty treat. Plus Corinne does some original song stylings that almost made Tam pee from laughing so hard. Don't want to miss that or what happens Every Time a Bell Rings.
59: Dagger Eyes & Basic Bitch Buildings: The Christmas Set Up
Jul 12, 2022
Show notes
We are living our best Lifetime and this week our movie is The Christmas Set Up: starring Ben Lewis as Hugo, Blake Lee as Patrick and the fabulous Fran Drescher as Mama Kate. Hugo returns home for the holidays where he encounters his high school crush Patrick. He tries to be cool but fate, a train station and Mama Kate intervene to bring them together. In this episode: we swoon over the leading men, who are married in real life (and we can feel the heat), we get steamy from all the hot beverage rendezvous and Corinne sings a genius rendition of up on the rooftop about Hugo and Patrick stringing lights on the roof. We are full steam ahead and gay for Christmas in Ju-lay and invite you all aboard the romance express.

We are back baby! This month our theme is Make the Yuletide Gay aka Gay in Julay, where every movie has a gay storyline (some more robust than others). This week we are covering Coyote Creek Christmas starring Janel Parrish as Paige, a hotel event planner, heading to her family lodge for Christmas. Where she meets Dylan, played by Ryan Paevey, who has been tasked to buy the lodge Paige loves so much. In this episode: we get a taste of Corinne's alluring cry that attracts handsome single dads everywhere, see how Tamara gets July more festive by making it rain kleenex from her bra, and become big advocates for emotional support waffles. There is so much more in this episode that made us 'howl' and we hope you do too when you join us for Coyote Creek Christmas.
