Tune in to hear our favorites and what we did to modify them to perfection. For this American Heart Month, consider adding these to your vegetarian recipe collection!

Self Care: Can Weight Loss Be Self-Care? Jan 30, 2022
    Show notes

Beyond what society generally associates with weight loss (improved health and appearance, wrong or not!), there may be potential benefits to maintaining or achieving a weight that supports living your best life. The question then becomes, is the pursuit of weight loss a form of self-care, or perhaps not so much when the focus is on eating intuitively and working towards body acceptance? Tune in to hear us present two perspectives and accompanying discussion around the topic of weight loss as a form of self-care.

    Episode 118 – Dietitians and Weight Struggles & Stigma Dec 12, 2021
    Show notes

Big, messy topic. Why not tease the episode with a quote, "In a culture that places so much emphasis on physical appearance, and weight in particular, it’s no surprise that many people have a love-hate relationship with the size of their bodies...but what happens when a dietitian’s weight issues aren’t a thing of the past? Can dietitians who have been trained in diet and nutrition be effective nutrition counselors if they still battle with weight themselves? And how much (or how little) weight denotes such a struggle anyway?" We're going there, join along!
