The Momentum Podcast is for those who of us who think differently — made especially for empire builders, game-changers, trailblazers, record makers, and creators of all kinds. Those among us who can’t turn it off, and don’t know why anyone would want to. We challenge complacency, destroy apathy, and we are obsessed with creating momentum.

While the rest of the world strives for average and clings desperately to the status quo, you and I are compelled to move forward and change the world.

We are the minority, the few, who are willing to hallucinate there could be a better future. Instead of just daydreaming of what could be, we endure the vulnerability and exposure it takes to make it real. We are the evolutionary hunters. The most important people in the world because entrepreneurs are the only source of consistent, positive human evolution, and we always will be.

If you're pushing limits as an entrepreneur, sooner or later you're probably going to end up in some sort of legal conflict.

When you get into a legal conflict, no matter what the official outcome, my contention is that everyone loses.

Do not take legal conflicts lightly. Lawsuits are a huge financial, emotional, and energetic drain in any business.

At the end of the day, no-one wins.

When you're hiring and you get somebody who has come from a big name corporate company, you feel like you've hit the jackpot. This person is going to solve all your problems. The challenge is, there is a massive difference between the way people work in large corporations and how entrepreneurial teams work. Sooner or later, every business owner encounters stressful situations. I've had some big challenges recently and when I'm feeling upset, hurt, or frustrated, I know that I need to rely on my mind-body connection to get me through. If you're spending your days feeling triggered and being constantly reactive, it's not good for you, your family, your team, or the clients you work with. You need to find a way to calm yourself down and get back to productivity. There are a few ways I know I can do this for myself. A morning walk and meditation are game-changers, but possibly the simplest and most effective tool is hydration. When you're an entrepreneur and your day is packed it's easy to forget to drink water. When you're in transition and feel challenged, you need to maintain your natural thirst protocol. If you have someone in your business who is not fully utilized, they will become dangerous. They don't have a focus or an outcome, so they'll start questioning things within the business. When people are fully utilized they focus at a much higher level. The most vulnerable person in any business is always the person in charge. If your running a business, any issue is your issue. What happened last year for me, my family, and my business? Here's my 2018 recap.

A big part of the past year for me was working on breaking through barriers, putting myself out there and just being real and transparent.

I went deep into our content and applied it obsessively to both my business and my personal life, I wanted to make sure that what we teach people really works. There are too many people out there who put together programs and coaching that they never even try for themselves.

There were a lot of highlights and things that I'm proud of from 2018. I also recognize where I can improve and I know I can work on those things in 2019.

I'm excited to see what this new year brings and I can't wait to share all our successes and challenges with you.
