Cyberpunk 2077 is easily the most anticipated game of the generation and after a series of delays and tumultuous developments - the game has been leaked. Only some of it has been posted online but it looks like there are entire copies already out in the wild. It is certainly a huge bummer for CD Projekt Red the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 and fans who might now have a harder time avoiding spoilers or mean-spirited trolls. There is an upside though. The leak and the notion that copies of Cyberpunk 2077 already out in the streets means the game won’t be delayed again. Catch us not holding our breath today on Inside Gaming Daily,

The PS5 and the Xbox Series continue to be locked in an eternal battle as new sales figures reveal some interesting bits of information. More specifically sales number have come in from Japan and it looks like the PS5 is handily beating out the Xbox Series X but console sales overall are down compared to last generation.

The data we have so far is only a small slice of the pie and Xbox has always sold poorly in Japan so take that as you will - also we can probably assume Microsoft would make less units available in Japan based on their sales history there. Covid has obviously taken its toll on the production of latest PlayStation and Xbox consoles and analysts are saying even though demand is super high, there just aren’t enough Series X and PS5 consoles to go around.

Don’t get to down about, at least you have the most recent edition of Inside Gaming Daily to keep you company. See you in the comments.

Xbox Series X maker, Microsoft, is clearly making moves this year as its impending acquisition of Bethesda is one of the biggest video game buy ups of all time. There’s been a lot of speculation, doubt, and warring comments over whether or not that means all future Bethesda made games will be exclusive to Windows PC’s and the Xbox. Well a new quote from Bethesda’s chief financial officer implied that while Bethesda games might come to Xbox first they likely wouldn’t be limited to just one platform. Does that mean the next Elder Scrolls game will come to the PS5? Will Nintendo Switch get the next Arkane Studios game? Watch today’s episode of Inside Gaming to learn all about what was said and more!

The PS5's UI has a major flaw Nov 17, 2020

Show notes

The PS5 is finally here in a super real way but now that the console is in the hands of the public a lot of people are claiming that something with their PS5 is just not quite right. Sure the Xbox Series X and the PS5 were bound to have a few bugs out of the gate, every new console does, but some of these issues are a little astounding. For example, there isn’t a way to tell whether you are running the PS5 or PS4 version of a game and other reports have people stuck in an error loop just from simply trying to download a game. Hopefully, a patch will come soon to fix it all up but until then good luck to all the new PS5 owners out there. Tune into tomorrow hopefully for a less woeful story and another exciting edition of Inside Gaming Daily!

Looks like the Xbox Series X is having even more issues than we previously thought! The next gen monolith isn’t playing nice with its disc drive which was a huge selling point for it over the Series S! Problems like loud whirring, clicking sounds, and the drive not working at all have been reported by countless players. Despite this, the Series X and Series S have had the greatest launch in Xbox history… but will that keep Xbox alive until games like Halo come out next year? The new consoles are here and they are… broken? Oh no! One reviewer already had their PlayStation 5 die completely after having storage and network issues. Others are saying the PS5 is plagued by crashing issues caused by the rest function. Now taking a look at the Series X, it has its own issues! Like spewing out clouds of smoke! Which actually it totally doesn’t do and was just a trick on social media… but it IS still breaking! The new Xbox is having boot issues, disc drive errors, and a multitude of other issues. What other problems do the new consoles have? Find out on today's edition of Inside Gaming!

The Xbox Series X and Series S are out today… but no time for that because Marvel’s Avengers, the game from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics not the MCU movies, is in trouble! Okay, it’s in more trouble. Well, actually, it’s on fire and the developers are really sorry about it. Yup! The game we called “2020’s Anthem” has hit an even lower low. The game cost publisher Square Enix nearly $200 million to produce and market and it only sold 3 million units, YIKES! But we’re not done yet, Crystal Dynamics has since apologized for the rocky launch and quality for the game over the last two months. Does Marvel’s Avengers still have a future?
