Not only do we have a new Bachelorette in Katie Thurston, but we also have TWO new hosts in Tayshia and Kaitlyn. BYE BYE CHRISSY PIE! After discussing these two new/returning entries, I get into our usual suspects: Family Karma, Real Housewives of New York, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

I… HATE… A… MARVEL... HIATUS! I have been needing new Marvel content, and FINALLY… we have it! Loki has premiered, and episode one is the definition of setting up a series… and building out a universe… and a multiverse… and every other VERSE you can think of! I break down the episode from START to FINISH, and I even give you some theories as to who the [VARIANT] is!

This episode features voice messages from Semajh of the “Me I Am; Cancelled” podcast and loyal listener Katie from Kentucky!

The Miseducation of Countess KAREN de Lesseps Jun 07, 2021

Show notes

FAMILY KARMA IS BACK! But before we celebrate... let’s have a moment of silence for all of the contestants that will drop in the upcoming season premiere of The Bachelorette, which starts on June 7, 2021 with Katie Thurston in the titular role! Another fantastic yet draining week of reality tv, so I needed to discuss! Plus… voice messages GALORE! Boy oh boy! Family Karma INSPIRED you guys! I talk about our favorite Miami families of Family Karma (with a LOT of help from some of your favorites), the absolute gaslighting that occurred at Luann’s brunch on Real Housewives of New York, and Sutton’s questionable antics on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Timestamps are as follows:

7:20 - episode 5 of the Real Housewives of New York (featuring a voice message from listener Nyemade from @thatafricanbutterfly on Instagram);

35:30 - season 2 premiere of Family Karma (featuring a voice message from listener Nyemade from @thatafricanbutterfly on Instagram, Kaya and Aaron from the “Bravo While Black” podcast, Donny from “Know That: a Real Housewives Podcast,” and Noor from “The Reality Is” podcast);

1:05:00 - episode 3 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (featuring a voice message from listener Nyemade from @thatafricanbutterfly on Instagram and Selle from the “Who Asked Me?” podcast);

Let's Pregame for BLACK WIDOW and Get HYPE for LOKI! Jun 03, 2021

Show notes

SOLO EPISODE! Let’s… talk… BLACK WIDOW! It’s easy to forget because of all the delays that Black Widow is debuting in theaters in July 2021, while Loki is still airing. What… does that mean? I don’t know. But what I do know is that I CAN HELP YOU GET READY FOR THE MOVIE! Let’s go through Natasha Romanoff’s filmography, her best comic books, and take a look at the movie’s villain: Taskmaster. I end the episode with a quick Loki reminder (since I’ve already devoted a full length bonus episode to our favorite MCU trickster God).

Three Truths and No Lies... Wait... May 31, 2021

Show notes

I’M BACK! After a… hiatus? Is 8 days a hiatus? Especially when the sole purpose of the hiatus is to shift your release date schedule? REGARDLESS! I’m back with another all-Housewives episode, as it was yet another great week of Housewives television. I begin the conversation in New York to discuss the ambush of a dinner that was held in Holla Heather’s honor. Then I say goodbye to our Garden State girls as part 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion concludes, which may be a good thing because WHEW! The conversations had at that reunion were… rough. Then I end things in Beverly Hills… or in Lake Tahoe… or in GAGville after those last few minutes between Crystal and Sutton.

Timestamps are as follows:

6:15 - quick Married to Medicine convo (featuring a voice message from JV from Chicago);

9:40 - episode 4 of the Real Housewives of New York (featuring a voice message from Taria from the “What Else Is Going On” podcast);

27:30 - part 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion (featuring voice messages from JV from Chicago and Stephanie from the “Mocha Minutes” podcast);

46:15 - episode 2 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (featuring voice messages from JV from Chicago and Stephanie from the “Mocha Minutes” podcast);

Let's Predict the Future of the MCU Using Hulu's MODOK! May 22, 2021

Show notes

SOLO EPISODE! Also the last episode before the new release-day schedule starts. Have you watched Marvel’s “For Mature Audiences Only” outing M.O.D.O.K. on Hulu yet? No, it is NOT connected to the MCU in any way (in fact, it’s 3D animation… a la Robot Chicken), BUT… that doesn’t mean that it can’t be! I’m using the ten hilarious episodes to pick out some of the throwaway jokes that tie directly into some of the MCU movies and Disney+ shows. Whether it is something/someone we have already seen in the MCU, or something/someone we almost certainly will see, we can use it to craft the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I mean, we saw characters ranging from the MAJOR Mr. Sinister to the obscure lesser-known villains like Poundcakes, Tenpin, and Mandrill. LET’S TALK MODOK: our favorite Marvel comics villain with the “WOMB WRECKING HEAD!”

Did Sutton Get Her Mortgage from Wells Fargo?! May 20, 2021

Show notes

I refer to this as a mini-episode, but obviously… it’s VERY MUCH GIVING... FULL LENGTH FEATURE! I only discuss the Housewives this week because… THEY GAVE! AND GAVE! AND GAAAAAVE! I announce that I’ll be “taking next week off” so that I can shift my release-day schedule… all because Marvel decided to release Loki on Wednesdays instead of Fridays. I want to stay true to my one-day turnarounds with those, so I’ll be moving to a Monday/Thursday release day schedule, with possible bonus interviews being released on the weekend. In this episode, I discuss episode three of the Real Housewives of New York, the premiere of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and part one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. MAN! I had fun with this one! TWO WORDS: JENNIFER AYDIN!

Timestamps are as follows:

6:30 - quick Shahs of Sunset moment (featuring a voice message from JV from Chicago);

10:00 - episode 3 of the Real Housewives of New York (featuring voice messages from Eugene from the “Problem Addict” podcast and listener Ms. Nina from Brooklyn);

33:00 - the premiere of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (featuring a voice message from Eugene from the “Problem Addict” podcast);

48:00 - part one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion

Ororo Monroe is the Beyonce of Marvel! May 15, 2021

Show notes

I have an agenda... and that agenda is based on one title... THE MARVELS! Yes, Captain Marvel 2 officially has a title, and it implies (at least in my mind) much more than the mere two words defined. I have theories, but first, I want to discuss some of our favorite BIPOC and female superheroes. It may not make much sense as you're reading this, but it will all tie together by the end of the episode. BRING ON MORE O.P. A.F. SUPERHEROES!

This episode contains listener voice messages/comments from Kaya and Aaron from the "Bravo While Black" podcast, as well as listener Emily from Houston!

Me & Falynn, Porsha Williams, and Simon Too May 13, 2021

Show notes

The Bravo Cinematic Universe was ROCKED this week when the Haunting of Bravo’s Chat Room curse finally caught up to fan-favorite Porsha Williams! Are we all dreaming? Is this just an elaborate hoax to drum up attention for the next season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, or is Porsha Williams actually engaged to Simon “$40,000,000” Guobadia after (supposedly) dating for one month? I discuss this, along with the shows that ended this week (Real Housewives of Atlanta, Summer House, and Real Housewives of Dallas), the ones that finaled (Married at First Sight and Real Housewives of New Jersey), fan favorite Married to Medicine, and the second episode of the new season of Real Housewives of New York. Grab your inhaler, pick up a jug of purified water, and get in here!

Timestamps are as follows:

4:10 - Real Housewives of Atlanta… sorta? Not really.

12:10 - Real Housewives of Dallas (featuring comments from Kaya from “Bravo While Black,” Semajh from “Me I Am: Cancelled,” and Josh from “Bravo Boyfriends”)

27:40 - Married at First Sight finale (quickie)

29:00 - Married to Medicine (featuring Atlanta comments from JV from Chicago)

44:25 - Summer House (quickie; featuring comments from JV from Chicago)

48:55 - Real Housewives of New York (featuring comments from Kaya from “Bravo While Black” and Eugene from “Problem Addict”)

1:06:30 - Real Housewives of New Jersey finale
