The Miseducation of Hoodrich Dorit Kemsley Aug 30, 2021

Show notes

Without even asking, the Lord delivered to me a follow-up episode to one of my most downloaded episodes to date: “The Miseducation of Countess KAREN De Lesseps.” As you might have guessed from the title, it is our resident hoodrich style icon Dorit Kemsley in the ACCOUNTABILITY SEAT… and the shade room. And the reading room. And the GIRL BYE room. Also… Zen Wen offers Robyn Dixon and her “non-existent relationship” a Housewives apology. It’s nice to see those are still alive and well. Nature just may be healing after all. And of course, I get into my weekly reality ramblings.

This episode contains a voice message from Semajh of the “Me I Am: Cancelled” podcast!

Timestamps are as follows:

6:10 - Real Housewives of Beverly Hills;

29:55 - Weekly Reality Ramblings (Real Housewives of New York, Titletown High, Love Island UK);

41:05 - Real Housewives of Potomac

Show notes

If you love Marvel and DC movies (or action movies in general), then I have the perfect interview for you! Anthony Molinari, who is one of Marvel’s go-to stunt performers and coordinators, is here to chat with me about the ins-and-outs of his job, his experiences in Hollywood, his background, and so much more! He even answered some of YOUR questions! Listen to him tell us about how one of his students persuaded him to pursue his dream, that time he was star-struck (hint hint: it’s the star of the movie that I quote most often on this podcast), and what it’s like working with and being friends with Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

Thank you to my loyal listeners Semajh, Nick, Candace, Jesse, and Jinger for your amazing question submissions.

Show notes

WHEW LORD! We got two PHENOMENAL Real Housewives episodes this week, along with one that made my blood absolutely BOIL! We also watched some other great shows… and some HOT TOPICS that made waves on the internet. The Real Housewives of Dallas aren’t even in season (and may never be in season again), but we’ve gotta touch on them. Plus, Bachelor in Paradise is BACK, and I’m along for the ride! Lastly,, along with our regular points of discussion, I must… rant about Love Island UK. I’m almost caught up on the current season!

Peter Quill Could NEVER! & I Guess Hawk Can't Anymore Either... [What If...? Episode 2] Aug 19, 2021

Show notes

“If I had wings like this dove… for then would I fly away… and be at rest!” Chile… I guess doves and hawks are both doomed. The first few episodes of the third season of DC’s “Titans” have dropped, and BIRDS DON’T STAND A CHANCE! I ramble, rant, and rave (as well as cuss and fuss) about the FANTASTIC episodes. Then, I stop crying long enough to get into T’CHalla’s Star Lord episode of Marvel’s “What If…?” Marvel and DC are giving me EVERYTHING I need right now!

This episode is a SOLO episode! No voice messages!

Time Stamps:

7:00 - DC's "Titans" on HBO Max

15:20 - Marvel's "What If...?" on Disney+

Is This the MCU... or Love, Death, & Robots?! [What If...? Episode 1] Aug 12, 2021

Show notes

What if… I didn’t drink that large milkshake from Baskin-Robbins tonight? Would my stomach be nearly as torn up as it is? Only UATU THE WATCHER knows… ANYWAY! The MCU’s first animated anthology series “What If…?” is here! We first get to visit a universe where we only acknowledge Captain Carter, ok?! I am loving this show! It’s “Love, Death, and Robots,” except… fully clothed.

This episode contains a very disrespectful voice message from Kaya of “Bravo While Black.”

LET ME RANT, RAVE, AND RAMBLE! Love Island USA is DOOMED! Aug 09, 2021

Show notes

LISTEN! I needed to rant, rave, and ramble about this past week of Love Island USA and how it makes me VERY NERVOUS about the show’s future. It has yet to get up to the level of Love Island UK, but it had potential! After a week mired in unexpected exits, the show no longer has any power players! AND I NEEDED TO VENT! Listen to my thoughts on THAT, as well as all our Bravo regulars (Real Housewives, BET Presents “The Encore,” and some new favorites Sexy Beasts and FBOY ISLAND!

Suicide THEE Squad... AND White Coolio! Aug 07, 2021

Show notes

“The Suicide Squad” is here, and I THINK… please don’t throw tomatoes… that it is easily James Gunn’s best superhero outing; though, I do love a good “Guardians of the Galaxy” rewatch. From the comedy to the shock value to the action scenes to the actual plot of the movie to Viola Davis and Idris Elba delivering AMAZING performances, I think DC has another 2021 winner on their hands. Two victories for the DCEU in one year. Me: I Am… Sha-shooketh.

This episode contains voice messages from Quin of “Know That: a Real Housewives podcast” and Kaya of “Bravo While Black” and The Dipp.

This is the last episode of “Me & You, the Housewives, and Marvel Too”... UNTIL THURSDAY!
