Is there a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than by watching a movie about a toxic relationship trying to survive a cult and their ritualistic practices?
Probably not
It is very hard to describe Midsommar. Unsettling, frightening, unusual, maybe even funny at points. Is there a Swedish word for all those things?
We discussed the following:
1. Is Christian the worst movie boyfriend of all time?
2. How much would you pay for the iconic May Queen Dress?
3. Hereditary or Midsommar, which film do you prefer?
4. Where does Midsommar rank amongst horror movies in 2019?
& so much more!

2. Is Christopher Nolan one of the best or Top 5 directors of the 21st Century?
3. What film universe would you like to inhabit for one day?

The Dark Knight (deservedly) has a lot of "greatest of all time" attached to it.
The greatest comic book movie of all time?
The greatest movie of all time?
The greatest comic book villain performance of all time?
Well we are here to say....
That it absolutely deserves every single praise it receives. It truly was an achievement in filmmaking and as cliche as it is to say...it was redefined the comic book genre. We attempt to discuss it all and so much more!

In this episode, we are joined by Danny Garrison, social media influencer and film aficionado!
We met Danny via social media by posing a very controversial question- did Forrest Gump really deserve to win Best Picture in 1994?
To be fair, 1994 was a killer year. Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption both came out that year and arguments exists for any one of the nominees. (Except maybe not 4 Weddings and a Funeral)
Join us as ask some very important questions about Forrest Gump!
Has it aged well?
Would it have been released in 2021?
Is Jenny the worst movie girlfriend?
What's the most quotable line?
We discussed these and so much more!

Were you rushing or were you dragging?
We attempted to get on Fletcher's tempo and break down one of the best movies of 2014, Whiplash. Looking back at the year, there were definitely some excellent movies, but Whiplash stands tall in comparison to its peers (looking at you Birdman).
What exactly makes Whiplash so great? Well, we attempted to answer this question and more, like:
1. Fletcher or Miranda Priestly from Devil Wears Prada- who would you rather no have as a boss/mentor?
2. Raisinets in popcorn- a match made in heaven?
3. Lets be honest- is J. Jonah Jameson worse than Terrence Fletcher?
4. Does Whiplash or Drumline inspire you more to become a drummer?
and so much more!

2020 was not a good year, so to start 2021 on the right path, we decided to talk about one of our personal favorite movies and quite possibly one of the greatest movies about music ever created.
Almost Famous has a fantastic ensemble and is great from beginning to end. In all honesty, what is there you would even change about this movie? Well, we tried to figure it if had any flaws...keyword being "tried".
We also discussed
- Where does this rank in movies featuring San Diego as a setting?
- What would your fictional rock band be named?
- Best needle drop in film history?

ITS.... TURBO TIMEEEEEE
Yes, we are celebrating the week of Christmas by discussing one of our personal favorite Christmas movies, Jingle All the Way. A movie that delivers a scathing commentary on the dark side of Christmas, people's obsession with material gifts.
Okay maybe Jingle All the Way isn't THAT deep, but it definitely has some satirical elements to it! We can't help but love Sinbad and the hijinks that ensue as a father goes on a quest to find the elusive Turbo Man Action Figure (not his sidekick Booster).
We discussed:
- Would you rather have a Turbo Man or a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas?
- Joe Pesci instead of Sinbad...would it have worked?
- How bad really is Howard as a father and husband?
@ 44.30- Thank you to everyone on Reddit and Instagram who submitted their Top 3 Christmas movies of all time!

Happy Holidays!
Christmas Movie Month continues!
It has been 30 years since the release of Home Alone (crazy right?) and by now, this movie is in the Hall of Fame of Christmas movies. But is it possible, that Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is better? We talk about what makes this movie so fun and of course, discuss some other ridiculous questions like:
- is Kevin McCallister a likable protagonist?
- Which Home Alone do you prefer, 1 or 2?
- Uncle Frank or Uncle Rico, which movie Uncle is worse?
- Ranking iconic movie screams and child actor performances
and so much more!!
