- where does the MCU rank in our favorite movie franchises?
and so much more!

Welcome to MCU May!
Each week in May, myself and a guest will be re-visiting some of the most iconic MCU films, breaking down and talking about why we love (or maybe dislike) them.
To start MCU May off on the right foot- how could we not start with the film that quite literally ignited the MCU?
Iron Man (2008) has stood the test of time, despite the Myspace jokes, and is still one of the best MCU movies to date! Joined by Nate from @allthingsreviewed_, we discussed:
1. Iron Man- Low Tier, Mid-Tier, Top Tier- Where does it sit in the MCU?
2. Could anyone else have played Iron Man/Tony Stark?
3. Rank the Iron Man movies
4. What fast food place would you go to after being stuck in a cave for 3 months?
& more! Be sure to follow, rate and subscribe!

We have sadly reached the end of A24 April, but we are sending off the month with a banger.
Ex Machina is probably one of the most underrated and maybe one of the best sci-fi films of the 2010s (maybe even 21st century).
In this episode, I am joined by Dillon from CinemaNation where we discussed why Ex Machina works better than most other sci films despite revolving around a similar sci-fi trope!
We discussed....
- Ex Machina or Annihilation?
- How do you rate Oscar Isaac's dance moves from 1-10?
- Can you rank the best AI movies?
- Best Oscar Isaac performances?
And so much more!

A24 Celebration- Week 3!
We are continuing the celebration of A24 movies by revisiting another Safdie Brother masterpiece- Uncut Gems.
And we get it, Uncut Gems is a little more polarizing than Good Time, but there is something special about the movie that makes it stand out from the rest of the A24 filmography.
Joined by Dillon from Cinema Nation- we discussed (or obsessed) over what makes Uncut Gems truly special and also answered some equally important questions, like:
1. How do you rate Adam Sandler's fit in Uncut Gems 1-10?
2. Would you rather spend a day with Howard from Uncut Gems or Connie from Good Time?
3. Can we get a crossover Uncut Gems/Good Time movie?
4. How do you rank the 5 highest grossing A24 movies?
And a lot more!

Week 2 of A24 April continues!
Nate from @allthingsreviewed joins the podcast once again (hitting the trifecta for guesting three weeks in the row) and we are discussing the teen romance drama, The Spectacular Now.
Raise your hand if you thought this movie was just your typical teenage romantic drama/comedy akin to The Fault In Our Stars? Lets just say the marketing team may have dropped the ball on this one because this is far from your cliche teenage movie.
We discussed everything we love about this drama and why it continues to be one of the most authentic teen romantic drama to this day!

Happy A24 April!
Each week of April, we are celebrating and discussing everything A24 with some excellent guests!
And what a better way to kick off the month than with the iconic A24 masterpiece, Good Time. Launching the Safdie's into stardom and showing the world that Robert Pattinson is one talented actor.
Nate from @AllthingsReviewed joins once again to break down and discuss why we love the chaos that is Good Time and why it could easily be one of the best A24 movies to date.

This is now a podcast solely dedicated to all things related to Heat.
Okay, well maybe we aren't going to make that dramatic of a change...instead, we are going to spend the next hour gushing about why Heat might be a perfect film and definitely the pinnacle of crime drama films.
I am joined by Michael Mann aficionado Nate Spencer(previously joined us on the Super 8 episode) to break down this masterpiece but also answer some of the more hard hitting questions, like:
1. Which movie utilized the "Who/Owl" joke better, this or The Wolf of Wall Street?
2. What is the best Al Pacino line in this movie (with impressions of course)
3. Ranking bad pony tails on men in film
4. Ranking LA films
and so much more!

With the 2021 Oscar Nominations now out and the awards race nearing its conclusion, now is the best time to revisit and rank the top 5 Best Picture winners from 2000-2020.
In this episode, Dakota Arsenault of the Contra Zoom Podcast joins Joe discuss and debate their top 5 Best Picture winners from the last 20 years.
Surprisingly, we only shared 2 movies in our top 5... obviously we both had Crash and Green Book ranked #1 and #2.

It's only fitting that after discussing Midsommar, we try to cleanse our palette with a more wholesome romance movie...right?
In this episode, we are diving into the very interesting world of Adam Sandler Rom Coms. Lets just, the 2000s was a very interesting time for romantic comedies. A lot to love, but also some very questionable choices were made (fishy fingers, really??)
Guest Host Angela Schrader joins for this episode to discuss:
- Where do Adam and Drew rank among the famous Rom Com duos?
- 50 First Dates or Forgetting Sarah Marshall- which Hawaii comedy is best?
- Lets talk about the Meet-Cute
and so much more!
